Lol what you mean selinux is not something that is required from security purpose. The main thing is most of users don't know what selinux means and how much it matters. Just flashing random things don't going to keep you safe.

And moreover you are one of oldest members of community you need to warn users about it....

VoLTE/Jio:
1. VoLTE = may be in future builds
2. Jio - Jio spammers will be ignored in this thread :victory:
How to install ?
1.Place ROM,Gapps and SuperSU in your SD Card/Internal Memory
2.Reboot into recovery mode
3.Wipe cache/dalvikcache/system/data
4.Flash ROM/SuperSU/Gapps
5.Reboot
Reporting Bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit log.
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

hey buddy ur on fire yesterday dirty unicorns, today aosp thank you for the work ur putting in.so, i tried this on my hydrogen (3/32),everything runs fine, but on opening cellular networks under "wireless&networks" im gettin a fc,im attaching the logcat
p.s:i clean installed the rom
tested on helium, wifi and sim are ok, when trying to set up cellular networks, it gets fc.
In settings -> About phone, recognized as hydrogen, not helium.
All the issues will be fixed soon
Good work ! How stable is this for daily use ??
Sent from my MI MAX using Tapatalk
On helium, I can't set up function for buttons, and menu default is recent list.
when I try to run:
settings put global captive_portal_detection enabled 0
It prompts:
tmp-mksh: /system/bin/settings: /bin/sh: No such file or directory
Tested on helium, clean install
-Cellular networks works, 0 FC
-In function buttons: Home button changes works, Menu button changes dont works
seems stable for daily use, more feedback later
Found 1 little bug in my helium
Just 1 core is working
It makes tapatalk FC and the System is laggy

I've tried all last Roms in this forum and all of them are laggy and buggy
If you want a stable and smooth ROM, use RR ported for hydrogen and helium. Is the best ROM so far for helium
For the other side, the answers of the developers seem to me very superb, so I think it is best to let them do their job and wait for them to complete some of the roms they are taking out

Guys, lets keep this really good situation whit source ROMs that are poping out of of our new devs sleeves under control. Comments like: its buggy, it lags, volte doesn't work, cpu cores offline, antutu sucks, microlags and etc. whit out proper logcat is useless most of the time, or commenting on bugs that has been reported multiple times already is useless. On worst case scenario whit those comments we could just irritate and piss off devs, which in return will drop support and we don't want that do we? So restrain yourself from posting stuff that has been posted and keep an eye on interest threads and read build changelogs frequently so that you are aware what is going on. Use common sense. Test stuff in and out and report bugs properly, if you dont know how, Google it or use xda forums which are full of those kind of info. Iv seen it often what inappropriate behavior can led to - devs leaving and its gonna be our lose not theirs. Just my honest 2 cents worth. Take it as you like ??
While I agree that bug reports should be accompanied by logs and created mostly on clean installs it is still useful for devs to know that problem such and such is widespread and not sporadic (caused by some app or xposed plugin).
If the developer is interested in proper bug reports he can at least state that in OP and at best provide a format for such reports that he is interested in - I have seen such schemes and they are useful for ordinary users. Copy-paste works well in such cases. Not many users visiting here even knows what logs can help with or how to get them, they only root, install twrp, flash rom and hope for the best, all of that following step by step guides.
What I'm against is nagging devs to fix problems without providing any help (asking how to help).

CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look, build, and use our code at CarbonROM's GitHub... and at CarbonROM Gerrit.
Pre-Disclaimer:
THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL BUILD. The intent is to showcase what is coming up soon. Please keep any problems with those builds in this thread, we don't accept any bugreports for unofficial builds anywhere else.
Disclaimer:
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
Notice:
This build includes GApps for now, still working on ways to not prebundle it.

Notch ? As it's android 9 it supports now.... ?
Should I flash the OnePlus Android Pie beta on both slots to get the 9.0 firmware before flashing the rom? I know the unofficial lineage OS builds needed it, not sure for LR tho
@liquid0624, thanks for your great Support here. After two month of only reading, listen to the threads here, a/b stuff, new Device (very long time with HTC), learning etc. , it's the time for starting now.
But first the Oreo stuff.

I just tried wiping and flashing it over the 8.1 LR and I hit the qualcomm crash dump mode so that's an affirmative. I'm currently flashing the OOS beta and I'll report when I flash LR 10 if it works.

You're having this problem because you didn't flash oos pie beta 1 first then this ROM you need the firmware from that for it to work.
---------- Post added at 12:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:36 PM ----------
Everyone that is complaining about features this is the first build iteration there will be a lot of different things that happened to this pie built over time so calm down I know the developer will get everything sorted out in the short period of time and more features are coming soon.

Yeah you need to flash the Oxygen OS Pie Beta from OnePlus first before flashing LR over it as LR needs the 9.0 firmware.
Btw, I always get the "There's an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details" message on every boot. Small issue, just thought I pointed it out.

Hmm, maybe try a clean flash of OOS before LR? But before that, you have to use the unbrick tool first, at least for me, I had to use the unbrick tool to stop the device from showing the qualcomm dump screen.
Thanks Liquid team! I'll be giving this a go today.

I flashed the 9.0 2 beta OOS then flashed this and is working correctly
All the hardwork is appreciated. Did you by chance see the commit that had been made to fix Bluetooth that's in the lineageos 16 thread?
So while running through the initial setup on my phone, the screen just goes black and when it turns on again, I'm greeted with the internal problem message and the whole setup process is restarted again. Anyone has this issue?

Proper themes will come at a later point (actually working on it right now), what you see is the none functional AOSP themes.

Are you sure you updated both ROM slots? Not happening here, but maybe I forgot to flash 9.0.11. I'll take a look

Sorry if I ask but I never flashed OOS before a custom ROM and always work, we just need only vendor from OOS or not?

Technically you only need vendor yes. Best practice would be to just flash full OOS image because that way you're updating other partitions too (like modem or the bootloader) which is why I recommended it. Also common practice on the Pixel devices, which is what I've been working on before moving to OnePlus, so it's still "into me"

Steps to always take.
1. Flash oos 9.0.11 (or whatever is current)
2. Flash twrp
3. Reboot recovery
4. Repeat 1-3
5. Flash ROM
6. Flash twrp
7. reboot recovery
8. Flash gapps and/or magisk
9. Reboot system.
10. Thank Dev.
*Optional* 11. Complain on things not working.
*Optional* 12. Goes back to oos

It's not supported on any ROM. The devs are currently working on a solution. Be patient
Digital fingerprint will not work for a while its hardcoded into the bootloader of I'm not mistaken

Sure you are right and is infallible method, I just only saying that I flashed all the custom ROM without flash before oxygen but simply making a factory reset, then wipe dalwik, system and data, then install ROM, TWRP, reboot in TWRP, install gapps, magisk, factory reset and all work perfectly.
I had oxygen ob3 previously installed and flashed 6 ROM in this way simply and fast.

i recommend a clean flash, but however its reported that it would do fine with dirty flash..
Procedure for dirty flash:
(1) Clear cache/Dalvik,
(2) Flash the new ROM files in the following sequence: Custom ROM > GAPPS > Custom Kernel (if any),
(3) Reboot to system.:fingers-crossed:
Update with April Security Patch is here..
