- OS: Oreo Version
- Details: This will transform your International Note 8 F/FD, S8/S8+ F/FD or S9/S9+ F / F/DS into a fully operational T-Mobile Device. Exactly as the U-Variant. VoLTE, Wifi-Calling, Enhanced Messaging, Video Calling and ALL T-Mobile 4G/LTE/ONLINE services & features fully operational! OREO Version!
Requirements: Oreo & International ROM that contains: (see image below)
system/app/ImsSettings.apk (Package Name: com.samsung.advp.imssettings)
(Some international roms don't even have IMS Settings apk, so the Detonator will not work on those roms)
- THIS IS NOT FOR THE KOREAN N VARIANT!!! IF YOU HAVE A SM-N950N / SM-G955N or SM-G965N, IT WILL NOT WORK AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RESTORE PARTITIONS!
- How: Backup all partitions via TWRP;... Download and flash via TWRP.
- BACKUP ALL PARTITIONS BEFORE FLASHING! THIS IS NOT A STANDARD/REGULAR FLASHABLE ZIP! IF YOUR PHONE DOESN'T LIKE THE DETONATOR, (MAYBE A CARRIER/REGION LOCK) YOU WILL HAVE TO RESTORE PARTITIONS!

Common Questions:
Junior Member: - Hey TEKHD! This is great! But I flashed the Detonator on my Korean N Variant and now my device is asking for SIM LOCK password?
TEKHD: - You did not follow instructions my young Padawan... This file does NOT work on Korean devices. You will need to restore your nandroid and/or reflash your stock firmware via ODIN.
Junior Member: - Hey TEKHD! What is a nandroid?
TEKHD: - My young Padawan... You will never be a Jedi...
Junior Member: - Hey TEKHD! Can you make a Detonator for AT&T users?
TEKHD: - I don't have AT&T, can't test the files. (plus AT&T doesn't like IMEI's from non AT&T phones)
Junior Member: - Hey TEKHD! Can you make a Detonator for Korean N devices?
TEKHD: - I don't have a Korean N device, sorry...can't test the files.

Troubleshooting
Try this: (see image below)
Using Root Explorer, navigate to /efs/imei/
Open in text editor:
omcnw_code.dat
mps_code.dat
and make sure both say TMB
Reboot & Reflash...
- When booting for the 1st time... turn off "Confirm Network Connection" Under Settings -> Connections... Done

Nice job now take to buy international version

Nice.....!!! You're the man! I tried to build this myself and was getting "com.android.phone has stopped" error.... glad I don't have to fiddle with this anymore!

This is bloody decent!
Bought the unlock

Nice!
@TEKHD How do you get to the IMS settings on Oreo? With Nougat using Phone INFO/Shortcut Master it was possible but with Oreo on Note 8 the secret codes no longer pop up.

You need root in order to access IMS Settings under Oreo. With root, you will be able to access IMS settings via Shortcut Master.

This is not for N variant, please read OP. You will have to restore nandroid or reflash stock firmware via Odin for your Korean N device. Hope this helps.

Yes I'm rooted, don't know what it feels like to be stock.
Maybe it's a Note 8 Oreo issue. Shortcut Master or Phone INFO (has Shortcut Master built in) can't find all the usual secret service menu codes as it did on Nougat. App dev is aware of it too. Hopefully the apps will get updated to work. I take it the screenshot you posted of IMS Settings is not from a Note 8 on Oreo? But at least VoLTE & RCS services get enabled through CSCfeatures.

Hey guys,
So I did root my phone, installed TWRP and everything works fine. I tried flashing the zip but I'm not successful... It does change my original CSC to TMB but it shows that my active CSC is XEU for whatever reason.
Flashing went fine but no VOLTE or anything like that
Hope an update will make it work eventually...

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. I'll flash back to Oreo later tonight & will check. I'm back on Nougat and have always been using your older S8 TMO pack.

So I did what you told me to send the omcnw_code.dat file had my original DBT code in it. I changed it to TMB and flashed your zip again and still no success here. Any other suggestions? I really would love to get this working since this is the main reason I rooted.
Thank you for all your help.

The thing is that I do have this app. I can see inside settings and can even get to the settings but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Just on stock here with nothing custom.
My 965F is originally from Germany so that's why I have DBT but other than that it should work. I'm really not sure what is going on with my device. Is there anything I can try to turn on?
By the way the RCS settings in the screenshots are not staying on when I turn them on. They just go back to grey.
Thank you so much.

Take a look at screenshot below... (I have 7 T-Mobile services connected. Literally exactly as Original Stock N8/S8/S8+/S9/S9+ T-Mobile U Variant)
What do you see on your device? My S9+ is 256GB/Dual Sim SM-G965F D/S from Taiwan. It came with BRI/BRI/BRI/BRI (Taiwan Firmware) I currently have my own custom ROM (TEKXodus S9+) made with United Arab Emirates Firmware from HERE The T-Mobile CSC was extracted, ported & modified from latest SM-G965U Firmware. The next version of the Detonator will by more "Universal"... Give me time.

I only have three options (mmtel, mmtel-video,smsip)
I tried activating the services that you have but they won't stay on. I'm sure we will figure this out eventually. Appreciate your help very much.
I'm sure your next version will be working just fine. If there is anything that I can try let me know!

Great work, thank you
Good job! Great rom!
Updated to 1.3
Awesome
Great works thanks
i see you're to do list says update base to ng2 international. i was under the assumption that you need to be able to flash the new bootloader to get ng2 to work. or is that wrong?
EDIT: just want to update. i installed rom only of ng2 international version and it does indeed work. it's not dependent on the newer bootloader like some people in the international forum are saying.
Where is the Usage Manager apk located? They are on other ROMs but supposedly on yours.
Nice Rom by the way

The actual apk file is devicehealth.apk but the usage manager icons are located on the second home screen in the AT&T folder and also in the app drawer.

I've had mixed results with ng1 working, I'll see if I can get ng2 going without a new bl. I haven't made it my biggest priority as I injured my wrist recently and computer time has been limited.

thanks. the install went fine and everything is working in the rom except for wifi. and that is because i guess i need to update the modem to the ng2 modem. but since we have at&t version there's no possible way to do that. network and network data are working fine. so the only drawback i see with updating to the ng2 version is wifi issue.

No, possible issue to work on a future release. 1.3 is rock solid.
Future development is uncertain as I found out over the weekend that I'm going to be a dad again with my wife of 11 years. I'll try to find the time to do what I can as we can never have enough Roms to choose from.

Hi, @Nucleartx
can you please tell me if you did you add more languages like Arabic & Hebrew....
I looking for roms for all Us S5 +Note 3.
if not can you please add?*
Becasue samsung remove all non -Us languages...
Because of this even Morelocal2 ... wont work.
So there is a rom for only US- devcies the base on Europe or Asia ROM
(becase it has languages hidden and morelocal2 can show it up) ?
*if not:
i being told to de-compile apk and see if there is (values-iw).
even this sould be good to know if there is lang i need framework-res.apk or settings.apk or sec.settings.apk.
if not i being told de-compile every app on this devices(US devices) copy all the lines with the IW in it to every apk in this/orginal roms
values-iw... drawable-iw in the end to add IW and in language.xm add iw_IL .
thank you!
I'm really enjoying this ROM. Thank you. If you never develop it further it's pretty great as is!

[ROM] [5.1.1] Kyubi Note 5 Port Final [N910VVRU2BPA1] [2/23/16]

Read this whole OP before doing anything!
** I am excited to announce that @Kazica 's Kyubi Note 5 Port (INTERNATIONAL NOTE 4 BASED ROM) works for the Verizon Note 4 Developers Edition ! I am not a developer and do not take credit for this ROM. I only assisted in getting it to work for our phone. Enjoy!!
Give many thanks and donate to @Kazica and his team for developing Kyubi Note 5 Port!!: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/kyubi-rom-port-n5-n910f-coj3-v5-t3254964
Give @Battlehero a thanks and donate to him for his time and effort for creating the data fix for our Verizon Note 4 and his debloated version of the Note 5 port !! http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-kyubi-rom-note-5-t3220106
Give @hsbadr a big thanks and donate to him for making this possible with his 5.1.1 Jasmine ROM and multi-system kernel!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon/development/rom-jasminerom-v1-0-t3113771
Without them, this would not have been possible!
Remember that.
DISCLAIMER: Your warranty is now void. Please be careful make a full TWRP backup of your current Verizon ROM. I am not responsible if you break your phone or lose data on your device!
*A clean flash is a must if you are coming from another ROM or you will run into problems.*
Big NOTE: (Puns intended) There are OG Developer's Editions and Converted Retail Editions. OG's, including me, have an aged KitKat 4.4.4 unlocked bootloader and we need to use multi-system kernel that @hsbadr patched to fix the brightness issue that was present during the Lollipop upgrade. We are forever in his debt. Converted Retail Editions have a newer Lollipop 5.1.1 unlocked bootloader meaning they can try other Verizon specific kernels without the brightness issue (You might come across other issues trying other kernels so please state what kernel you're using if you experience an issue). I'm also believing that it is possible that converts can experience issues that OG's don't experience due to the difference in bootloaders, and vice versa. It would be nice to know your build if you experience an issue. Thanks!
Instructions:
1.) Make sure you are on a 5.1.1 modem.
(N910VVRU2BOK3) or (N910VVRU2BPA1)
2.) Download the ROM to your SD
3.) Download the DataFix to your SD
4.) Wipe /system /data /cache /dalvik-cache (/InternalStorage Optional, you will lose your files on the device)*
5.) Flash the ROM.
6.) Flash the DataFix.
7.) Wipe Dalvik and Cache
8.) Reboot. (Will take about 10-15 mins to boot)
Do not log into Samsung account during initial setup. Log in when you try to download your first theme.
9.) Navigate to Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > Change Network Mode from Global to LTE/CDMA (If it's not already switched)
10.) Enjoy!
If you want to use xposed flash the framework AFTER initial boot (the framework zip can downloaded from battlehero's OP). Then navigate to xposed installer: Settings > ROM Extras > xposed
(*If you use snapchat log in to snapchat first then install xposed*)

**READ ME**
Bugs:
Along with the bugs from the OP (No GearVR support) :
- *MMS does not work correctly on the stock Messaging app (group chats come in and send as individual messages, and unable to send picture messages)
**(Workaround: Use Textra as default messaging app, MMS works like it should)**
- Unable to perform a factory reset within the settings because you will get non-stop FC's once booted up. So make a TWRP backup after you go through a battery cycle.
- If you do not wipe internal storage any old Note 2 files in you SNote data folder will kill the SNote app. So remove them from that folder and you'll be able to use SNote.
- Fast charge might be toggled off. To check go to Settings > Display > Fast charging toggle
- System update in settings force closes the Settings
- Simultaneous data works at 4G speeds when talking on the phone but it shows it as a 1X connection. (Must have a 4G connection to work)
- To get My Verizon to work:
1. Navigate to /system/priv_app and delete the VzwSilentSSOEngine folder.
2. Edit the system/buid.prop file. Change the model value to SM-N920V and save.
3. Reboot.
4. You need to log into My Verizon using your user name your number will not work
Thanks @stueycaster and @rayjr13
- Verizon Visual Voicemail does not work and may never work
- Date in notification panel may not theme correctly (*Workaround: Use xposed Wanam lollipop to theme the time and date in notification panel to the color that you need, then Flash normal systemUI. (Download the file from the second post of original Kyubi thread.*)
- Screen mirroring does not work (Try installing screen mirror fix in ROM extras, haven't had an opportunity to test it yet)
- If you use all apps on homescreen, when the Theme store updates it may create two theme store icons. Use the newly created one for theme store access and just put the other one in a folder. If you do this you won't have a problem with the Theme store.
- If you change the model value in the build.prop to Verizon Note 4 model value (SM-N910V) it will break the theme store. Switch it back to SM-N920F or SM-N920V to get theme store working again.
- Google Play Movies does not work
- Do not flash the sound mod in ROM extras it will kill phone call audio
- Floating messages does not work
Read/search through the original OP threads for any non-Verizon specific issues first.

No prob man! Just trying to give us some options now that we have the 5.1.1 update! I never took the plunge to try CM13 due to the SD card format change but that's not a good excuse lol. I'll try it one day. And yeah definitely try it out and let me know what you think ! It feels like I got a new phone !
Noticed when I was on a call that simultaneous data does not work when on 4G. I figured out what was missing from the Note 5 port build.prop comparing our build.prop. See update section under the instructions.
Great news!
Hello all. @Battlehero the developer for the Note 5 port has created a data fix for our Note 4 ! Flashing his data fix removes the longest step in my tutorial! Give this guy the most thanks and donate to him! I am going to test it out today but I already see that this is a much cleaner system. The dialer and settings launch at normal speeds!
If someone else wants to give the data fix a whirl before it's posted, send me a PM.
Usual disclaimer: You are responsible for anything you do your device, anything goes wrong only the person in the mirror is responsible.
Update regarding datafix
Significant progress has been made, a stable datafix should be released soon. It will reduce the installation steps significantly.
I appreciate the cooperation of @jcip17, and @hsbadr for providing the necessary files such as the kernel without whom I wouldn't have been able to successfully create a datafix for this device.
Hope to see you on board. :fingers-crossed:

** I am excited to announce that I got Verizon Note 4 Dev Edition to work with Kyubi Note5 Port SDX!! The most important thing is that data, calling, sms, mms*(see bottom) work. I am not a developer and cannot promise a bug free ROM. Post all bugs that you find in this thread only. Although I gotta say this ROM is seriously smooth and responsive, with no major bugs found. Battery life looks good too ! This port is like we have the Note 5 but with a removable battery and SD slot!! Theme store works too!! I do not take credit for this ROM or kernel.**
DISCLAIMER: Your warranty is now void. Please be careful make a full TWRP backup of your current Verizon ROM. I am not responsible if you break your phone or lose data on your device!
Read this whole OP!
**This manual port is using Kyubi Note5 Port SDX[De-Bloated], Jasmine 4.0, and 4.1 update. Download the Note 5 Port and read the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-kyubi-rom-note-5-t3220106 to get an idea of the features in this ROM. Give @Battlehero a thanks and donate to him for his Note 5 Port !! http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-kyubi-rom-note-5-t3220106 Give @hsbadr a big thanks and donate to him for making this possible with his 5.1.1 Jasmine ROM and multi-system !!
Follow these steps one after the other and don't stop**
Instructions:
1.a Make sure you are on Jasmine 4.0/4.1.
1.b Download Kyubi Note5 Port SDX[De-Bloated] and the Jasmine 4.1 update to your SD card. Download ODIN 3.10.6 and the 5.1.1 modem (N910VVRU2BOK3) on your computer.
2. On your Jasmine 4.0/4.1 ROM make copies on your SD card of:
- system/cscversion.txt & SW_Configuration.xml
- system/app/VzwActivationAgent & vzwapnpermission folders
- system/csc folder
- system/etc/apns-config.xml, csc_apks_list.txt, csc_remove_apks_list.txt, csc_ringtones_list.txt, csc_user_apks_list.txt, csc_user_remove_apks_list.txt, epdg_apns_conf.xml, gps.conf, hidden_apks_list.txt, init.qcom.efs.sync.sh, init.qcom.modem_links.sh, mixer_paths.xml, plmn_delta.bin & plmn_se13.bin
- system/framework/verizon.net.sip.jar & VZWAPNLib.apk
- system/etc/permissions/verizon_net_sip_library.xml & vzwapnlib.xml
- system/lib/libcontrolcsc.so, libreference-ril.so, libril.so, librilutils.so, librmnetctl.so, libsec-ril.so & libsecril-client.so
- system/privapp/VZWAPNService & VzwSilentSSOEngine folders
3. Reboot into recovery and make a TWRP backup of everything except SD card.
4. While in recovery clean flash Kyubi Note5 Port SDX[De-Bloated] (Wipe everything EXCEPT SD). Then flash Jasmine 4.1 update (installs newest multi-system kernel). Do not reboot the system after.
5. Reboot in download mode. Connect your phone to the computer and ODIN the 5.1.1 modem.
6. (Optional) Create a full TWRP backup before you swap files just in case you mess up
7. Once booted up wait until the screen turns off by itself. Go through the setup and then download root browser. Using root browser, swap those copied files in the appropriate file location. Change them to the correct permissions (folders get 0755 (rwxr-xr-x) and the files 0644 (rw-r--r--), compare with other files and folders that are in place already) Make sure you change the permissions on all folders copied over and their contents. If a permission is incorrect or you leave a file out there can be issues and a restore might be needed. **Longest Step**
Reboot
8. **I forgot that the 4.1 update flashes Verizon's build.prop and it is necessary to extract the build.prop from the Note 5 port and swap the files in the root of the system folder. This will not be a problem once the final data fix is released, which will swap the build.prop for us.** But for now once you swap the build.props...Edit build.prop in the system folder and
Remove:
# Start in gsm mode
#ro.telephony.default_network=9
Add:
# Use CDMALTE Phone (For 4G model)
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1
# Support Global Mode (For global mode model)
ro.config.multimode_cdma=1
# Use data service state for signal display (Except USC CS model)
ro.config.combined_signal=true
# Retry Timer (VZW)
ro.gsm.data_retry_config=max_retries=infinite,5000,5000,60000,120000,480000,900000
# Default Network Mode (For 4G / Global model)
ro.telephony.default_network=10
In between these values:
# SAMPOo
sys.config.samp_spcm_enable=true
(Paste it here and save)
#
# ADDITIONAL_BUILD_PROPERTIES
This makes the phone look for CDMA/LTE networks first and enables simultaneous data when talking on the phone. Must have a 4G connection to talk and use data at the same time.
Reboot
9. Edit feature.xml in the system/csc folder and change:
FALSE
to
TRUE
This enables auto download mms when data is toggled off ! I am pretty sure this works for any rooted Samsung phone on Lollipop and KitKat, maybe even Jelly Bean.
Reboot
10. Reboot into recovery and make a full backup in TWRP and you have your own custom ROM ! ENJOY!
**READ ME**
Bugs:
Along with the bugs from the OP (Can't update SNote and no GearVR support) :
- *MMS does not work correctly on the stock Messaging app (group chats come in and send as individual messages)
**(Workaround: Use Textra as default messaging app; SMS and MMS work 99.99%.)**
- Settings and *Phone App(see workaround at bottom)* sometimes open slow (My highest priority to fix)
- Unable to perform a factory reset within the settings because you will get non-stop FC's once booted up.
- Mobile Data toggle slow to actually toggle on and off ~10 secs
- Closing all in recent apps will definitely cause the Phone App to open slowly the next time so avoid closing it if it bothers you. **(Workaround: download a phone app and make it your default phone app. I am using True Phone and it works great)**
- Briefing widget does not work. So please remove it: Long press the widget > uncheck the box at the top and do not press settings for Briefing because it will FC the launcher.
If anybody has any suggestions regarding these bugs send me a PM or just post in here. I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm sorry about that! I updated the OP. I didn't really know what the deal was between both your ROMs it was a little confusing. But I would never do something like that on purpose !

It's okay, I just wanted to clarify that the Kyubi ROM has been created solely by @Kazica, he's the rom developer, only he.
@Battlehero took care of debloating Kyubi.

This rom is intended for people on the Tmobile Network
with either the G935F S7 Edge, S7 flat G930F, G935FD or the
G930FD phones who want to have Wifi Calling, RCS and Volte.
This is the very first Nougat 7 S7 / S7 Edge international rom which
has Wifi Calling, RCS, Volte and Google Assistant all working 100%
properly on the USA and European Tmobile Networks.
NOTICE: I just found out that Wifi Calling, Volte and RCS will also work
properly in Europe's T-Mobile Networks if you have a G935F/G930F
S7 Edge or S7 flat phone with a Tmobile Sim card.
Please Note:
This rom will also work properly with the S7 / S7 Edge G935FD/G930FD
phones as long as you only have one Tmobile sim card installed.
This rom is basically the same as @ambasadii 's Android Nougat 7 v7.3.1
deodex rooted rom except for the ported Tmobile G935T/G930F TMB
CSC and other parts which are required to make Wifi Calling, Volte, RCS and
Google Assistant all working 100% properly on all screens without the
need for modifying and adding "pixel" in the build-prop.
If you want to see the complete details and a list of all the features
in this rom please go to @ambasadii 's rom thread below:

Yes, this is a highly modified rom so it's essential to do a full wipe
including factory reset.
Be sure to make a nandroid backup before flashing any roms.

Firstly be sure to do a full wipe including factory reset before flashing this rom.
Then after a successful install of this rom you need to open the google app
which is located in the google folder in the app drawer.
Open the google app then scroll to "settings" in the google app then click on
the "ok google detection" option.
Then enable the "from any screen" option and it will ask you to say "ok google"
three times. Once that's done google assistant works 100% perfect unless you
have not done a full and complete wipe before flashing this rom.
(I have tested this 3 times on 3 different phones.)
Good luck, have a great day!

Installation Instructions:
If coming from a different Nougat rom then boot into TWRP recovery
and do a full and complete wipe including a factory reset before you
flash this rom.
If you are coming from a Marshmallow rom you will need to odin flash
the Bootloader and Modem before flashing this rom in TWRP recovery.
After successfully flashing this rom have patience, it might take up to

Be sure to reboot the phone after flashing and after the setup is completed.
This rom is intended for people on the Tmobile Network with a Tmobile Sim card.
If you have a dual sim G935FD or a G930FD S7 Edge and are using 2 sim cards
you will need to remove one of them and only use the Tmobile sim card if you want
to have the wifi calling and volte features working properly.
I am using this rom as my daily driver and am having no issues with it.
If the phone has 2 sim cards in it it will have sim error.
I have tested this rom 3 times on 3 different phones to
make sure that the tmobile wifi calling and other tmobile
features are working properly.
Good luck,

I'm using the chinese baseband, from the latest firmware. My network signal works perfectly (4G/Great Signal). I've tried flashing the correct baseband for my country (Brazil), but got awful results. So I suggest sticking to the chinese baseband.

The VIP version has way more customizable settings, like battery icon, your clock...
Basically with VIP you can customize a lot of stuff on your phone.

Did you installed the correct firmware? It has to be the chinese firmware.
And what do you mean with "It did not work"? What happened?

What update do you want? The v25 is one of the last versions that are available. I don't understand your question.
Perhaps if you are brazilian, send english questions and portuguese questions, in the same message. I'm brazilian.

You have to install the full chinese firmware to work.
I've tried to install a brazilian CSC for me and didn't work. Just flash the entire chinese firmware (AP, BL, CP and CSC) and you should be able to install the ROM :fingers-crossed:
(Tomorrow I'll upload the correct firmware to mega.nz and I'll share the link here)
Download
ROM: mega.nz
Chinese Firmware: mega.nz
I've just added the download link for the correct chinese firmware. Try flashing this one.
These are old links.

Hello, can't you upload the ROM to another server? Google Drive or MediaFire? Thanks

General Samsung S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra U1 Firmware (Links)

After looking really hard ahead of launch for the U1 S21 Ultra Firmware using Samfirm and Frija, I couldn't find the US XAA firmware. Well I finally got a hold of it ahead of launch. You can use this firmware to flash any carrier branded S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra to U1 after receiving your device using Odin. Attached are the Google Drive links I've uploaded for your convenience. Links will be updated on a monthly basis for simplicity. Below is a simple guide on to flash this.
Step 1: Download patched Odin and Firmware for the model that corresponds to your device's model number
Patched Odin link:
odin.rar
drive.google.com
Download patched Odin and your phones firmware to an area on your computer that will be easy to access.
If you do not have a program that can open rar files, then Winrar is a great program. Download link here
https://www.win-rar.com/fileadmin/winrar-versions/winrar/winrar-x64-601.exe
Step 2: Download Samsung Smart Switch and make a complete backup of your entire device. Data will be wiped during this process, so make sure you have a complete backup.
If Samsung Smart Switch says your device has an update, DO NOT UPDATE USING SMART SWITCH!
Windows Link here: https://www.samsung.com/global/download/smartswitchwin/
Step 3: Once your device is done backing up, Power off your device and put your device in download mode by pressing the Volume down button and power button at the same time. If you have done it correctly, your device should show this screen.

}

Step 4: Connect your device to your computer and open up Odin.
Step 5: Once Odin is opened, make sure your device is showing as connected, then select AP, and find your firmware file that you had extracted earlier, and select the one that says AP_(Your phones model), and do the same for every other one. So BL for BL, CP for CP, CSC for CSC, and USERDATA for USERDATA. Make sure you select the HOME CSC.
Step 6: Click start. It will start to flash your U1 Firmware. Take a Tea break or something. Once its finished, it will automatically reboot.
Step 7: Once device reboots, sign into your Gmail account you used previously, as well as your Samsung account. Once its at the home screen, restore the backup you made using Smart Switch and then once that completes, sign into all your apps. Your done. All OTA's now ill be XAA Samsung OTA's, not carrier branded ones.
Step 8: Profit>?

Questions and Answers
Will this work for the Exynos version of the S21?
No The provided firmware files are for the Snapdragon version. This might be compatible with the HK Snapdragon version, but I am not sure.
Help, Odin won't flash, gives me an error.
Respond in the comments below, and I'm sure we can get this to work.
Will this unlock my phone from my carrier?
No. If your device is locked before you flash this, it will be locked after you flash it. This is to remove carrier bloat and ensure all further updates will come from Samsung instead of your carrier. If you flash it before you unlock, you can still unlock your device as normal.
I have bootloader unlocked my device, will this relock my bootloader?
Yes. This includes the V2 bootloader for the S21 series, and as a result, if you flash this, you will lose your unlock token.
Updated for July 2022 Security patches.
Edit: If you need a build that is not posted in this tread, or need a newer build, please use this link and download Frija to download any Samsung Firmware by following the guide posted.

This will work with any carrier branded version. It will entirely convert it from the carrier bloated version, to the U1 unlocked, Samsung version.
Hi,
I can not change my csc by flashing via odin, I noticed that it was a problem that happened to a lot of people, I tried to flash the XEF version (french unbranded version) but it does not work...
I wanted to know if I could flash this U1 firmware on my galaxy s21 exynos version and then reflash to a XEF version?
My phone is SFR/SFR,SFR/EUX/SFR, by flashing the XEF version it didn't change anything.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I noticed that we could no longer change the factory csc on samsungs, thanks Samsung...
This will not work with the exynos version. It's U1 snapdragon only.

Thanks for your answer.
FYI - I found new firmware that includes February Security Patch for G998U1 - you can download it here: February Firmware for Galaxy S21 Ultra
the firmware is for a region labeled as ACG (not sure who this is - but I do know that the firmware works on my ATT S21 Ultra with no problems)
Hope this is helpful -

What benefit do we get from this version? Wondering whether is would give the ability to use dual SIM on AT&T...

It doesn't allow dual SIM in the US at all. One of the first things I looked for once my AT&T S21 Ultra was unlocked. Even flashing U1 firmware doesn't allow that. However, it does completely convert the phone to the Unlocked version of Samsung's firmware, so your updates won't come with AT&T bloatware, only Samsung apps.
