Just got my P20 Pro so far so good. Can't find anything that I don't like and it is fast!, although it's coming from a Galaxy s6 so that's not surprising.
I just have one question that I hope can be changed, when on a call, there are options for Notepad and calendar, which loads the relevant Huawei apps. It would prefer to use the google alternatives.
Has anyone found a way to change these?

Hi everyone, just got myself a new 3t and I must say I love it, two things I need help with, is there a way to set do not disturb manually without having to use the switch and I have come from a Redmi pro with miui and used the text templates feature a lot for my work, is there this feature on the 3t I can't seem to find it.

I believe only default huawei apps work with always on notifications. Unfortunately there's no other options

Is there any way to run third party support natively?
Actually, I can't even seem to get native email notifications to appear either?

Same problem for me : I would like to receive notifications from other apps (Whatsapp, Twitter, ...) on the always-on display.
I tried Glance Plus but it's impossible to unlock the phone with the fingerprint scanner using this app.
Someone can help us ?

Please realize that , just like Samsung, this is the first implementation of Huawei's Always On Display, it's just to tick a marketing box, and many months, maybe more than a year must pass until you see a really meaningful implementation. Samsung also didn't display 3rd party app notifications at first, just missed calls and SMS messages (not even their own email app was integrated). The only company that had a good Always On Display from the beginning was LG.
It's too bad, because the Mate 10 Pro looks to be a really great phone otherwise.
My only worry is that Huawei seem in no rush to update the Always ON Display like Samsung did after only the S7. Huawei have had this Always On Display with only stock app support on 3 different phones now with the Mate 9 Pro, Mate 10 Pro and now the P20 Pro so that's almost 2 years without any change. Maybe now that more people demand it and they want to get closer to Samsung then they'll maybe speed up that update?
It is disappointing and I too can only see sms on mine (stock email app does not show)
I love an AOD but IMO in it's current form it is just not worth using.
after 2 monthes is possible that this problem isn't solvable? i wrote to huawei assistance but they have no emails or requests.... only me!!!! if nobody ask to implement this funcion, the problem stay for all us... the modder of huawey are locked by emui system and few mod are develops

I bought the standard edition Oppo Reno model (PCAT00) in China. Which already have Chinese rom installed in it. The new cokoros 6 is also there. But its half baked like a rushed product.
So the main problem here is that when I closes my whatsapp or wechat or snap chat.... I won't receive notifications. When I open the app, then again I receive. I have tried all the help but didn't find any solution. So if there is anybody who can help? And another question. Can I move from Chinese global version to the international version.
P. S. I HAVE ALSO INSTALLED GOOGLE SERVICES.
Go into whats app and remove this from battery saver, I have not used color OS but I know mostly chinese OS do this.
You basically have to allow this app to not go into battery saver mode. Find something in settings.apps...whatsapp settings.
Open App Management, find your application, inside open Energy saver, and choose plan - Allow Background (first option)
By default system sets 3rd one - Intellectual. You should change to first.
Secondly: open running applications (square left to Home button), choose your messenger and choose Lock in the right corner.

SD710 is enough for IMX586 IMO. Shoots fast enough.
Difference is about software, cause GCam (for example) makes better photos than Oppo's own software.
There's no dual speaker, only one speaker at bottom. It is good and loud enough.
I have tried everything. Sometime it works. But sometimes it won't. The only way it works smooth when it's in background

For those looking for a way to remove some of the stock apps from their phone, I've used a tool named "ADB AppControl". It has a grafical interface which make is it easy to use. No need to run cmd and enter all those lines as a shell anymore.
Worked great on my reno 10x zoom and the find x3 pro.

Hi guys. I am looking to purchase a Find X3 Pro in Canada. Problem is the global version is going to run me around $1800. but can get a CN version for about $950, almost half price!! I do not want Breeno and those Chinese apps, will ADB app control work to remove all those painful Chinese apps?
Should work with all versions. I've used the tool on other phones and tablets as well.

After a brief detour on the Pixel 6 Pro from Google, and the resulting disappointment, I made the choice to return to Samsung on an S21 Ultra.
However, if there is one feature I will miss a lot, it's the possibility to filter calls by forcing the caller to indicate the reason of his call before picking up.
Do you know if it's possible to integrate this on other smartphones than those of Google? Or do you know a similar application?
