Looks like you "played" a bit to much with your phone. There is no official TWRP yet and no official Firmware Image. So, this looks very bad for you to get out of this again.
Maybe try HiSuite from Huawei or MultiTool
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=28734
Probably this could help as long as you can connect via ADB or HDB from HiSuite.
Good luck...

Hey, I've faced the exact same issue. After playing even a bit more, I manged to revert my device (LLD-L31) back to stock.
I've uploaded all the files I used, for you.
It passes SafetyNet check successullfy!
Download required files here
Here is was I did:
Format data using TWRP (Wipe -> Format data)
Enter fastboot mode (Connect to PC, power+ VolDown)
fastboot flash ramdisk ramdisk.emmc.win
fastboot flash kernel kernel.emmc.win
fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img
fastboot reboot
Click to collapse
Please tell me, if it worked!
Note:
The SYSTEM.img is extracted from the UPDATE.APP from this site.
Kernel and ramdisk are from a LOS-15.1 TRWP backup. Not sure if they're required, but it didn't work for me without flashing them.

error while extracting update.app
hello sir, I'm getting this error while extracting update.app.. recovery ramdisk.img invalid header crc - Expected: 18707 Got:56582

Why exactly do you need to extrac the update.app? I've already uploaded all required files and linked them in my previous post.
Also, which program did you use? Which operating system did you use?

now my phone is looping

In order for me to help you, I need to know exactly what you did.
So what did you do before your phone went into bootloop? (And don't worry, my Honor 9 lite has been in bootloops 100 of times, we can fix that! )
And how did you try to enter fastboot?
Make sure your phone is connected to a computer via USB!
Then press and hold Volume DOWN and Power button until phone reboots.
Release power when you see the blue honor screen.
Release volume down key, when you are in fastboot.

Again, I need to know whay you did!
You don't necessarily need to factory reset after a flash. But it probably won't make things worse.
But if you are switching the ROM (stock to a custom Rom) you indeed have to format data in twrp.

Ok, now I can help you.
First of all, install TWRP. Use img2 (the experimental test build) if img #1 just stucks at the TWRP screen and won't enter the recovery.
Tell me when you succeed
You can get TWRP from here

i did as you said .. now phone is not starting stoped at huawei eRecovery
whan i go to twrp phone reboots itshalf after 10sec

If you can boot to bootloader
and bootloader = unlocked
and FRP = unlock
then you can reset the phone to stock-rom
you need download with HuaweiFirmwareFinder 1 FULL-Update from YOUR build
i see in FF "LLD-L31C432B131 FullOTA-MF
download the 3 files, extract with HuaweiUpdateExtractor
- ramdisk.img
- recovery_ramdis.img
- system.img
the extractor do automatik for all *.img 1 *.img.header
copy this 6 files to your ADB-Folder
For reset to stock-rom
- fastboot flash ramdisk ramdisk.img
- fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
- fastboot flash system system.img
after this reboot the phone, eRecovery format low-level "data", phone reboot and start as "new" phone (initial settings)
before you do this you can do 1 test :
- fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
why?
format low-level "data" work ONLY with stock-recovery, NOT with TWRP
after this is your "data" encrypt !
Only 1 TWRP work with encrypt/decrypt : https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-0-t3789306
if phone work set PIN for Screen-open (this PIN need TWRP by start for encrypt/decrypt "data")
if you need, you can now flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP.img
if you need install OTA-Updates : if OTA-Update on your phone "install update now ?" answer "NO, later" and
- fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img (stock-recovery)
and install Update now.
if all work and you need : flash TWRP
i hope you understand this "way"
the advantage : you can install with TWRP OR flash developer-system.img and if anything not work - reset phone to stock-rom
i use ONLY TWRP with encrypt. this is security-question. if phone lost - data is encrypt !
TWRP without encrypt work only
- boot to TWRP
- format data
- boot from TWRP to TWRP
- data have now NO encrypt

Doesn't Android use FBE by default since Android O, so the data is always encrypted no matter what TWRP was used?

By unlocking the bootloader you've void your warranty.
They will probably charge you for the repair.
What happens if you install this version of TWRP?
It's on Chinese, click the little icon in the top right corner and select "English".
If it doesn't crash, try this one.
Make sure to follow the correct steps for flashing.
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk [filename.img]
fastboot flash reboot
QUICKLY unplug USB and before it fully reboots, hold press Volume up key
If it fails, check out this guide:

Boot loop

Hello,
My phone is in boot loop, my P8 Lite 2017 PRA-LX1 double sim Europe failed during root and since its bricked (nano sim + micro sim or one sim one micro sd).
Huawei is really hard to unbrick firstly its firmware is not user friendly.
On the box the book and the back face of the P8 I can read "model" = PRA-LX1 only nothing more but it seems this is not the complete model name ...
I am very noob but I unlocked the bootloader without anytrouble.
I tried to restore it via micro sd (dload) and via the fastboot but it failed in both way.
I don't know if I use well fastboot and Huawei Update Extractor.
I downloaded this one PRA-LX1C530B130 : update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1458/g104/v85917/f1/full/update.zip
1. I unzip
2. I put the update.app in huawei update extractor
3. I right click and select extract all in a subfolder near the fastbootfolder on windows
4. I run fastboot flash recovery, boot and system
For the DLoad method I just put all the unzip files in sd card it completes but didnt change anything.
The result of the two method the P8 chain restarts after restarts at the huawei boot red logo it restarts.
I tried to boot on recovery (power + vol+) and then I tried wipe cache + wipe data/factory reset but it blocks at 99% and after 3 hours I turned it off ...
I tried to boot on erecovery (power + vol-&vol+) and I used the "download latest version and recovery" but it failed too
It seems I don't download the right firmware or something else.
I am desperate so please help me
please some help ?

2 I do the same with the other link unzipped ?
and then ?
Excuse me I don't want to bore/annoy you but I don't understand the instructions ...
Oh no, nothing unzip.
1. First flash with ADB TWRP Recovery.
2. Flash in TWRP the update.zip. The error message
ignore .
3. Then flash the other zip files .
4. Now flash with adb the stock recovery,
5. make a Factoryreset and
6. after the reboot receive a OTA update to B164.

So firstly I downloaded prague311.img & flashed it.
Then I started in TWRP where I have 8 buttons.
for the 2. => I selected all zip files (4) and put them in sdcard then I selected in TWRP install : uptade.zip I let the option unticked
It returns me E:unknown command error & uptader process ended with error: 7 & error installing zip file '/external_sd/update.zip
3=> guess it was the error I had to ignore ? then I selected install and add more zip to flast the 3 other zips.
It returned me same error guess its not normal ?
should I continue ?
Thanks again for your patience !
The error should have been only with update.zip. Try the Reboot. If it does not start, it becomes difficult. Flash now the stock recovery, makes there a factoryreset. Flash then again TWRP and repeat the flashing update.zip and then the others. Then reboot.

sorry had a bigger problem, when you wrote flash recovery should I use fastboot flash recovery recovery stock.recovery.p8.lite.2017.img or the twrp methode ?
I did the fastboot => then disconnect the smartphone from computer => then power + vol+ => wipe data / factoryreset (succes) => select reboot + powerbutton => vol+ + power => fastboot flash recovery prague311.img => then disconnect the smartphone from computer => then power + vol+ => install update.zip => returns error => reboot power + vol+ and install the 3 other zip update_PRA-L31_hw_normal.zip => returns me the same error than before :/
Then the smartphones boots stuck on huawei red logo then I have Huawei eRecovery
Donload latest ... . . Reboot & Shutdown ...

[TIPS] Revert Custom Rom to Official and untouched - Hard restore

Hi!
I see the large number of requests concerning the roolback of a custom rom to a official and untouched EMUI 4, i decide to create this thread.
After follow that methode, you able to rest on official EMUI and get the new update automatically on OTA (directly on your phone) OR try to install custom rom with a clear and good base version.
1. You ave access on TWRP?
-If not, pleas unlock your bootloader (again) and flash TWRP recovery for you actual version (marshmallow or nougat).
-perform a full wipe and restore your partitions on "ext4" format, shutdown phone.
2. Get a "oem_info.zip" for your model phone (dont extract the .zip) and push it on your internal or external sd.
-This archive contain cust and oem info for patched your phone at the correct manufacture information.
-I have a link for VNS-L31 (c432, but is not very important) HERE LINK
-If you have other model (VNS-L31) pleas find a correct patch for you (VNS-L21, ...).
3. Find and download a EMUI marshmallow official full-ota update.
-for a VNS-L31 i advice choice a VNS-L31C432B160 full-ota update.
4. Unpack your update archive.
5. Create "dload" folder on your internal or external sd and put it UPDATE.APP
6. Reboot phone on TWRP recovery and flash "oem_info.zip"
7. Use dload methode for update (hold 3 buttons phone and dont release before "dload screen" appears)
8. Unlock your bootloader again (important!) And make a factory reset
9. Your phone reboot (please wait ) and done!
Ok now you are on official version, please update on setting menu >> update and choice, rest on official or flash a custom rom..
P9 lite brick precision:
In my personal experience the "p9 lite" is very easy to flash, mod or other tips and the risk of HARD brick is very very tiny.
If you see this page and your phone bootloop, relax, keep calm at 99,999% you have a little and ridiculous brick
Good luck and flash happy!

To answer your question in the other thread, yes bootloader is unlocked and I am on C432.
What's your rom have before the bootloop?
You have the right version of TWRP for your rom?
If you have a MM version Don't flash a TWRP for N.

Before the bootloop I was on L31C900 (on the phone) but I did actually flashed C432B160 because I did rollback. TWRP used I've found in the other post where there's a OEMfile to flash (but for this I need to double check because I did look so many pages which I am not 100% sure.
I not have experience on other model that C435.
But i suggest to find a oeminfo for your variant (C900?)
For TWRP you need flash a version for MarshMallow HERE
Flash it and pas return here (fastboot flash return and first enter to new recovery)

I did format all partitions as told using a proper twrp this time.

Flash partitions on .img files is not needed.
Just find a corect oeminfo for your model phone.
Flash it on TWRP recovery.
Use dload methode to update on basical version (MarshMallow b160).
After that, unlock bootloader again and make a factory reset.
Switch on your phone (the first boot make long time).
Update on last emui on OTA.
Done!
After that you able to install a custom rom.

Correct. Because I'm not able to switch it off it won't keep the charge. When discharged, the minute I do plug on charge it wakes up... That's the loop...
My main question is: does a command exist to enter download mode using terminal?

Yeah but I mean can I keep it as TWRP or is it necessary to flash the stock one after rooting?

if you want, you can keep twrp even after rooting.
Hi Haky 86, for my HUAWEI P8 lite 2017, the build number is PRA-LA1C185B167.
I found firmware PRA-LA1C185B176 at below links, do you think they are trustworthy - will they work on my phone ?

this was possibile only on PRA-LX1C432B161 firmware, they update encryption on newer firmwares that make backup impossible to save.

You think it would be possible what they say in this post, but adapted to our PRA-LX1?

HELP ME

Thank you

P20 Pro - Bricked - tried everything...(!)

I was rooted through Magisk on firmware .255, but I saw an approved update for firmware .280 which I wanted, and I also wanted to go back to stock for a while. I downloaded the update.zip, extracted the .img needed and flashed accordingly; cust, erecovery, system, cache, kernel, recovery, userdata, etc, all I could.
I now can't get it to boot no matter what I try. I always end up on the screen "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" and then stuck on "Your device is booting now". I can get into eRecovery and/or flash TWRP.
I've tried the below;
Flashing dload folder on a USB OTG
Flashing update zip in TWRP
Flashing update zip with Huruupdater in TWRP
Flashing through fastboot update (update.app extracted)
Flashing through fastboot update_full_base (update.app extracted)
Going through HiSuite - it sees the recovery but then says "No recovery packages found for your phone"
Wipe data etc.
I did forget to remove fingerprint security before I did this, my bootloader is unlocked and FRP.
Genuinely never bricked a phone before! Any help would be appreciated.
I think it's because I need to flash boot.img but I can't see that when I extract from update.app
Does anyone have one please?
Don't make me buy a pixel tomorrow!

it because there's no boot.img for EMUI 9, it's recovery_ramdis.img and kernel.img did you flash that ?
try to pull recovery_ramdis.img from the Update.app and patch it using latest magisk 19.4 and flash it then try to boot again

Yeah I've flashed those two.
How can I patch it if I can only get into TWRP?

from other phone with magisk installed.
other thing you might want to try is enter stock recovery (not TWRP) and wipe /data and cache from there
just a heads up though,
your way of updating the OS is totally dangerous, you could.messed up partition,
you should use EMUI Flasher instead
I have a guide to fix this in the guides section. Follow it and you'll be fine.
Find somebody that had a p20 pro rooted to send you a backup of their software (with the data partition wiped).

We don't know where you went wrong either because you didn't list the steps you took or what GSI you flashed or what stock ROM you started from. Or where you are looping.
starting firmware: X200ZCU2CWD3
Steps: 1. Unlock BL
2. flash TWRP via Odin V3.14
3. Format data partition
4. flash dm-verity disabler (File name: Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt)
5. reboot to fastbootd mode (using TWRP reboot menu)
6. fastboot erase system
7. fastboot flash system "img path"
8. fastboot -w
9. fastboot reboot

Without this alway bootloop logo too.
1. Extract the IMG to the adb folder and rename it system.img
2. Flash TWRP with ODIN
3. When booting into TWRP using the Volume up and Power key, select reboot and then fast boot.
4. When you get there, go on your PC and open cmd with the adb folder.
5. Now type fastboot devices just make sure you have the device connect properly. Type fastboot -w after.
6. Type "fastboot flash system system.img" press enter and wait for it to finish. The last line should be be where you can type other commands.
7. When its finished, type fastboot reboot fastboot.

What exact GSI and build are you trying to install? There are only a few that are compatible, otherwise you're not gonna have any other luck flashing
I tryed with on my X200XXU2CWC1 firmware:
lineage-19.1-20230418-UNOFFICIAL-arm64_bgN.img
lineage-20.0-20230324-UNOFFICIAL-arm64_bgN.img
lineage-20.0-20230325-UNOFFICIAL-a64_bgN.img
Old version too but the same result...
Which version we are sure that works?

Make sure you are only trying to flash arm64 builds for this device
Both 19.1-20230418 and 20.0-20230324 do install properly but there's certain bugs that make them unfit to be used as a daily driver.
If you're looking for the latest build where everything works (including bluetooth) flash 20.0-20230218

How is it normal to do this command after having flashed a ROM ???
Once done, I boot of course on lineage after a few moments on the Samsung logo.
Which version of lineage is the most stable, 19 (Android 12) or 20 (Android 13)?
Thank you both for your help.

TWRP and fastboot can't handle the encrypted data partition. So you need to format it. Current versions of LOS re-encrypt it as soon as you boot to system. And you can't use dm-verity on this model, so you can't disable it.

Did you try this build before or after the realization you had left out the steps to wipe and factory reset?
Has anyone managed to install a GSI on the SM-X200 with X200XXU2CWC1 firmware? I tried different LOS 20 and LOS 19 GSIs, with and without GAPPS, including the ones mentioned earlier from March and April, but did not succeed a single time. The tablet gets always stuck in a boot loop. I flashed via TWRP and wiped and formatted data every time.
Is it possibly the vendor firmware (SW rev. 2) that prevents the GSI from running? All guides from this forum seems to relate to a SW rev. 1 firmware like X200XXS1CWA3.

If you mean you used the "Install" button in TWRP to flash, then that is your mistake. The "Install" button only has the option to flash the "Super" partition and not the "System". You need to use "Fastboot" to flash the system image. I flashed from CWD2 which is even later than CWC1, so that shouldn't be a problem. If it was, then TWRP wouldn't have worked. I'm running LOS 20 20300507 bgN.
No, I used TWRP to get into fastboot mode and said fastboot flash system ...img. I have no idea what I did wrong. Previously I flashed Lineage on a couple of Samsung Tablets (SM-T510, SM-T505).

There are only certain LOS builds that work with this device, you're wasting your time if you are blindly flashing random ones.
Refer to earlier posts to confirm which ones do work. And like @lewmur just reported the newest build 20300507 bgN does flash successfully
The 20230507 bgN was actually the first build I tried before I went to older variants, including the 20220814 bgN that is mentioned in a different thread.
@lewmur : Did you do a clean flash and format data before you installed the 20230507 build on the CWD2 firmware? There might be some issues with format data and the TWRP 3.7.0-12.2 from this forum (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-for-2021-galaxy-tab-a8-10-5-sm-x200.4488691/) on the latest kernel. After I format data in TWRP, the tablet is recognized as writable media in Windows, but I get reading and writing errors when I try to access the about 22 GB large partition.
I know that it is impossible to roll back the bootloader to revision 1, but may it be possible that I extract and flash a kernel from the X200XXS1CWA3 to further investigate this issue?

You must do a clean flash. The purpose of formatting the data partition is to get rid of the encryption. TWRP can't handle the encryption. And LOS will re-encrypt it the first time you boot to system. As to extracting the kernel from CWA3, I don't advise doing that. It could hard brick the tablet.
