Is there any way to root this phone? - Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime / J7 On NXT (Exynos7870)

Please don't suggest the regular ways to root the j7 prime. I tried cf auto root as well as the supersu.zip method to root this. Twrp cant mount data. After flashed supersu.zip. it shows integrity verification and after i reset my phone in that screen. I lose supersu. What can i do to root my stock rom. Its up to date. Please any one suggest me a working method . I don't want to lose any of my data again.

before flash supersu.zip
you must be fomatdata
enjoy

Can you suggest me a recovery that mounts data? Thanks in advance

flash TWRP first via odin and if you don't know on how to use odin, there's a lot of tutorials in youtube. then after you flash the twrp flash also superSU in order to root your unit.

SuperSU is from the past, flash Magisk instead. Just make sure you have the latest version of TWRP for J7 Prime and put the magisk flashable zip in your internal storage since TWRP can't recognize Sd card yet. and BTW you DON'T need to format anything just do a backup for the sake of data safety and go on

Unable to install SuperSu via TWRP

Hi. I've successully install TWRP using adb+fastboot.
Now, I want to install root.
I've downloaded supersu.zip file and placed it on my internal root storage.
Then I boot into twrp and flash it with Install zip.
All things seems to be done well.
I reboot: no root, no superSu app.
Any help?

Redownload root or try older or newer version. Try again. It should root your phone or download a rom they come rooted
I need this rom in order to unlock the device with the "device unlock" app. I've tried 10 times already, having the same result. Changed supersu versions a couple of times.
Have you tried version 2.79?

Failing SafetyNet Checks?

First off, my apologies if wrong sub-forum or what-not, I'm new here.
Secondly, and my reasoning for this post - I was rooted with SuperSU, then read more into Magisk and realised Magisk was probably the better option. However, I was having SafetyNet Check issues and failing all tests so I decided to revert to EMUI 4.1 again (EVA-L09 C432B166) but still failing SafetyNet Checks. I'm wondering if flashing a previous ROM hasn't de-rooted my system or left some residue from the Magisk root. Any help appreciated greatly, thanks.
try to flash this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/stock-rom-dload-file-p9-eva-l09-b136-t3382818 , then update to latest, b390 if im corect, i got L19 and for me latest is b386.
unlock bootloader, instal this twrp (this is for nuget, dont instal this twrp on marshmalow) : https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/twrp-t3565703 (important, after instaling twrp restart into twrp recovery, not os first time, duno way, but there are a lot who say need to do that)
reboot in system, reboot in recovery, backup boot in recovery (use sd card for backup storage, better than internal, why? if sometime you broke safetynet, you can restore it in twrp when restore boot (there is safety net info))
flash magisk v14 (dont use beta v14,3 or etc, there are safetynet bug, and not work it) here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
for busybox use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.busybox.installer&hl=lv first, then you can https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox&hl=lv if prefer this.
!doing all thease things you will delete all files in internal storage, backup all needet files!
There no other fix for safety net right now, this is best i found for myself

Thank you, this worked for me (except I used 14.3 of Magisk, currently SafetyNet Checks are passing so until they fail, I'll stick with it). Many thanks!

2. mobile odin to flash TWRP ?
3. reboot to TWRP, backup, flash custom rom ?

usually i work with nexus and xiaomi and manage to do it without pc
just root, install twrp from apk
and boot to twrp to install custom rom
but with samsung, i have no clue
any help plz
With PC
1) Flash TWRP via Odin3
2) Flash Custom rom and opengapps via twrp
3) And finally flash root addon
Without PC
Your phone should be rooted first, then install Flashify app from play store, download twrp image for your phone and you can flash it with Flashify

so mobile odin or flashify (which i'm more familiar) are doing the same. just to flash TWRP and that is it.
after TWRP i just can changing rom from twrp.

All of them work, your issue is encrypted data.
So remove it, then you can install Magisk 18.1 which has built DM-Verity, ForceEncrypt
Other than formatting your data,
You can first try flashing SuperSu >>> once you have established that you have working root via SuperSu >>> remove it by using the SuperSu removal file.
Next, reflash the boot.img that you will extract form the Rom's zip file ( simply unpack the file and grab it. )
Flash boot.img to boot, then flash Magisk 18.1 > Success!
okay so ive successfully rooted my phone, next step is enter diag mode, ive done that either through adb cmd,but problem comes when i hit restore button on qfil, diag connection became unstable, disconnected and then connected again on qpst port detector...but it remains connected on device manager...any idea what caused it?

Need to flash TWRP which will remain after reboot...

Hi All,
I am on MIUI 11.0.1 rom and have unlocked bootloader and have got Root as well. I had flashed twrp-3.3.1-2-raphael-mauronofrio recovery initially but I found that it doesn't persist after reboot and stock recovery appears. How can I make it permanent recovery option and when OTA update comes, will it wipe the TWRP recovery as well?
Also, now I have stock recovery with root and if I flash the TWRP again, do I need to format data again? I have installed all the apps and copied data in phone and dont want to lose again..
Please help.. Thanks in advance!
You shoulf flash magisk after recovery
Thanks for the reply.. I did flash magisk after flashing TWRP to root the phone.. But now my recovery is Stock..
