Where can I get the original display? - Honor View 10 Accessories

Any idea where can I get the original display for my honor view 10 apart from Service Center?
Unfortunately I broke my display couple of days back. I've tried with the service center but as this device has not been launched in my country they don't have the stock for replacement.
Thanks.

You might have chance on eBay or Aliexpress.

Purple glare from the Camera?

Hi all.
Every time I go into the Camera, when I aim towards a dark object ( black clothes, dark area ) it goes purple, would anyone know why it does this?
I tried to upload a photo but it isn't letting me.
That's the common issue with the HTC One M7. I had it too, gave the phone to the service center and got it repaired under warranty. I think they changed the camera module, now my phone clicks pictures without the purple/pink colors.

Actually mine was out of warranty also. If you live in Sydney there's a store called fonebiz which my mate showed me to. Had the same issue purple tint in dark lighting so I took it to them and explained my problem. Didn't even have to show the receipt or anything just gave them my name address and picked up the phone the next day. Got a refurbished HTC which was pretty much brand new. You should definitely give them a shot, was the best service & they took it under warranty when it expired plus it was free! They have online repairs too so you can just send it away for fixing. If not look for a local store around that does it for a cheap price

Screen damaged - Service center rejected

Friends,
I purchased my Xiaomi MI3 in China couple of years ago but I live in India now. Recently the phone fell down and a crack on the screen due to which the touchscreen doesn't work. But phone works as usual as I am able to receive calls, SMS etc.. just that I am not able to login as the touchscreen doesn't work.
I went to the service center in Bangalore but they rejected to replace the screen stating that the phone was purchased outside India, though I was willing to pay if they could change it.. but no help.
Need your advise how can I replace the touchscreen.
Thanks a lot.
Bangalore service center is supposed to be one of the best, if they are not willing to repair it, then I doubt you would get any official support from Xiaomi, you could try the following.
1) Buy Screen replacement from eBay, they are just 2-2.5k Rs. as device is getting old, search for 'Mi 3 Screen'.
2) Try to take the parts to a person who can repair it, you should be able to find skilled persons for repairing mobiles in Bangalore
3) If none of it works, there are videos on YouTube showing how you can change the screen yourself, it isn't really tough and worth a try as there's nothing better you can do.
Best of luck!
Go to a local mobile repair shop and get it replaced. I got mine done 2 days before only.

Broken display on my Note 8 ?

Hello
From day one my note 8 had this half circle of black at the top right, the black area fits perfect under the front facing camera so I thought it was supposed to be like that.
Now my friend also got a brand new note 8 and his does't have this black area.
...so I have to send mine in to the service center and I will be really pissed if they dont give me a brand new one fast.
Anyone else in this forum that has had the same kind of display problem ?
if yours is over 30 days old, dont count on getting a "new" replacement..you should have reported that as soon as you noticed it
I just purchased a deep sea blue back in NOV and received it on NOV 27th. I noticed on Christmas that I had a stuck pixel(stays on red). I put a claim in on the 26th the month and I have to send it for warranty. Samsung says its a 7 to 10 day turn around plus 2 to 3 business days for shipping. so plan on not having a phone for 10 to 15 days if you don't have a back up device. I just hope they even cover my device, its in pristine condition and should not have any issues this quick. I also have another note 8 that I will be sending back to Samsung as well that has dead/stuck pixels as well that I purchased back in late AUG for pre order. i'll send that one in after I get back my blue note 8. I'm not sure why all these people are having pixels issues. I have owned samsungs for years now and never had one with a pixel issue.
I hope you've not realised it wasn't normal too late, so yeh if it's over 30days they'll most likely fix it or you'll get a refurbished one unfortunately. Wishing you luck.

Hopefully they fix it for you, I read somewhere on here that Samsung only replaces screens with 3 or more dead stuck pixels.

I have read this as well and actually asked Samsung tech support about the multiple pixels having to be defective and they told me that its covered under warranty. but that's like asking a wall from my past experiences with Samsung. Its right around the 30 days of owning the device and after paying almost a $1000 for it, that's pretty crappy business. if I owned the device for almost a year and this issue happened, then I wouldn't quite care as much about it. especially when I have purchased Samsung devices in the past at half the cost and never had any pixel issues present.

I fought with them about sending a new replacement but they wouldn't. It will probably get a replacement display I'm guessing. if they tell me I have to pay a deductible then I'm going to be more aggressive with this.
But they must fix it since its under warranty, the question is .....will I get a brand new one or a replacement.
I do not have any good experience with repaired phones that should be water IP68 certified.

You will most likely get a refurb. But a refurbished device is fixed, tested and recertified. It will still be IP68 water resistant. Its basically as good as condition your current device could be in, minus the defect.

in this case Samsung will be issuing the refurbished/repaired device so it will be tested and certified through Samsung. same process as their new devices. a local repair shop will usually not have it ip68 certified anymore.

For Nokia 7 plus LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly (OEM) - Black
Selling at TVC-Mall.com.
Chack it.
Try at Maxbhi.com
I've had the same problem. Unfortunately the N7+ is very well build. Repairing the screen is very difficult and if you can find the screen it is very expensive, especially regarding the price to buy a new one. After some research I found a screen (which wasn't in stock) at a website and they asked €200,- including repair. The cheapest I found was €175,- incl. repair. Didn't find just a screen. Could buy a new one for just €320,- Since a repaired phone never works as good as it once did, I went for a new one after all

I had this 3 months after I bought it. (Last year in August).
I used the online HMD repair center, got it fixed in 10 days for €165 with collection and delivery. They did an okay job ( 2 days after repair I noticed a very, very thin scratch on the screen, need to look very carefully to find it)
I'll try to find the link for the website later.
I do not think locsl repair centre will do a better and cheaper job.
