[Request] [G6 Plus] GPS libs and GL engine files from stock 8.0 FW - Moto G6 Questions & Answers

I'm trying to get AOSP 8.1 Treble fully functional and 90% of the stuff works except for GPS and Fingerprint.
Could anyone upload the GPS libs (the .so files) from either /System/Lib/hw/ Or /Vendor/Lib/hw/ and the GL engine files from /system/etc , /system/etc/gps , /vendor/etc/, /data/gps e.t.c?
Since theres no TWRP yet I can't easily switch between the ROMs.
You would do us a massive favor.

I can give you what you need, but i dont know exactly which files are the ones you need, or tell me which folders and i upload them full

The libs should all start with gps and end with .so. The folders they can be in are in the OP.
The GL files are the files with glconfig.xml, gps.xml, Jupiter.xml, gpsconfig.xml and gps.conf, secgps.conf e.t.c.

Here are files for GPS and fingerprint, if you need other files, tell me.

[Q] [REQUEST] DSP Manager for stock LG Optimus 2X

So, I tried to get DSP Manager to work under the stock LG installation for the purpose of boosting speaker and headphone sound.
The homepage of the developer is located at: http://bel.fi/~alankila/android-dsp/
But he's not building it any more. Instead he had Cyanogen and some other mods put it in their reps.
Anyway I tried extracting DSPManager.apk and audioflinger.so and using rootexplorer to put them in /apps and /lib respectively. Needless to say: this didn't work. Bootloop, had to use nandroid backup to restore.
Using just the apk doesn't cause bootloop, but nets no result since it seems to need a modified audioflinger.so.
I've tried looking around in Cyanogens source code, but frankly I wouldn't know what to do if I found the relevant source. There seems to be something in media\libeffects called cyanogen dsp. Don't know if it's the same.
So my request is: can someone compile DSPManager.apk and audioflinger.so for stock (but rooted) Optimus 2x? Or teach me how to compile these two files?

Well it seems we might be getting closer:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12884327#post12884327
Has someone tested this yet? Someone uploaded the latest one with an edited .so file. Maybe someone can test if this works on 2.2.2. LG Optimus X2 without patched libaudioflinger.so?
Kind regards,
Xav...
Well... decompiled it... changed the thing .. recompiled it.. it works for about 2 minutes then force closes?
Edit - its got something to do with permissions , root explorer won't let me set execute permission. Maybe i should have got the apk signed or something..

great start ! has this been resolved at all ? my 2x has a really bad audio equalization during phone calls and i would like to get it better.
Try installing voodoo control plus to boost the headphone volume (it's available in the android market). Version 3.0 and above supports O2X. I've installed v3.0 on rooted stock 2.2, and it works. Too bad it doesn't have equalizer (at least on mine)

The updated camera next has a burst mode when you hold the shutter button!

any chance on getting a mirror going for this?
EDIT: i found another link to camera and gallery in case anyone was looking for it and couldnt get the OPs link to work. here
and here this has lib files in zip Thanks @PresidentMcCain
Yeah idunno why there was a /arm folder. Made sense to chuck them straight in /lib though and works fine
I thought so too but after copying both files and changing permissions as well it still crashes for me, must be a ROM thing.

Did that work for you? Can you give some more detailed instructions? I really just want the gallery app back. Currently using the oppo camera and I'm on cm12.1.
It worked except panorama, I too use the oppo camera I think it's better, as for the gallery It works fine and without the libs I presume, though I prefer quickpic, better gallery imo.

Please...I put the content of arm folder in system/lib but it still crashed when I open panorama mod..what I should do?
Is there a Camera update in YNG1TASI3?
What I found worked for me was to use the APKs the OP posted: https://docs.google.com/uc?authuser=1&id=0B3ez91stH6rlNlFuN2xsVExyQkk&export=download
But use the LIBs by @PresidentMcCain here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60097187&postcount=1479
Put those 2 lib files in the /system/lib folder. YOu do not need the two libs that come in the first Zip. You can see the file sizes are definitely different. Ensure permissions for the 2 files that go into /system/lib are 644.

[APPS] Deodexed OxygenOS 2.0 apps (framework, lib)

Extracted apps, libs, framework from latest OxygenOS for OnePlus 2.
Deodexed with JoelDroid Lollipop Batch Deodexer
zip contains /app /priv-app /lib /lib64 /framework
We can find out what is working, devs can make ports
For now (tested on EOS CAF):
AudioFX app works, but i think we also need lib to make it 100% work
Camera app work, but FC when switching on frontal camera, videos can be recorded, when u try to take photo, nothing happens

I thought this was a flashable zip, hence the "manually". I wanted to get the AudioTuner working, but it might be missing some critical files, especially the ones from /syste/vendor/{etc,lib}. It would be great if you can get those too.
EDIT: Hold on, the ones that you gave might already be working. Just need some proper setup. I'll see what I can do.
EDIT 2: On a proper inspection, it seems that there might be missing libraries after all. Just to make sure it's all complete, we might need a full dump of the system.
May I know which ROM is this from exactly? I must be out of the loop since I never knew OxygenOS 2.0 existed. Or is this actually from HydrogenOS of the OnePlus 2?

Well. AudioTunerService keeps crashing on me about it not finding an oat file or something. Could it be that it's not deodexed, since I see an .odex file of it?

I may be very close to having a working AudioTuner, but until AudioTunerService actually runs, I won't be able to test this. Logcat shows that it refuses to run due to a missing classes.dex file in the AudioTunerService.apk, which indicates an odexed APK.
May I ask that you re-check the AudioTunerService please? The batch deodex program might have missed it.

There seems to be an issue with the apk wanted to use a shared user ID which have already been used by another system app. It is possible to revoke the usage of the user ID for said app, but I wouldn't recommend it as it could terribly mess your system up.
Which I actually did, even though I already knew it.

I can't deodex it. For some reason (which I don't know what), the odex file failed the OAT header test.

The MaxxAudio however most likely only depends on the 32-bit libraries. I was able to deodex it and got the required libraries. However, upon starting AudioTuner, AudioTunerService crashed (yet again) with a new error:
Code:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
net.oneplus.audiotunerservice.service.MaxxAudioService$3
Now, this is completely out of my realm as I have no idea about Java whatsoever. However, I'm sure that the MaxxAudioService$3 do exist when I extracted the smali from the odex file. Does that mean the apk was not deodexed properly after all?
Attached are what I have so far. I have no idea where to go from here. May need to decompile the apk, but I don't know java. I guess I'll leave this here and see what the others can do about it.

Here's an updated archive of it. Should have everything inside. Note that you need to apply the correct permissions. (0755 for folders, 0644 for files)
I only tested on Sultanxda's CAF 12.1 (latest build). And of course, as I have stated above, it didn't work. I may be missing something a lot more important than just the library dependencies. YMMV.
Would be glad if any of you could help getting this to work. Thank you.

[Request] Magisk Module Dual Speaker for LG G6

I was wonfering if anyone knew how to get this done. I don't have the know how when it comes to making these on my own otherwise I would. I am willing to test. I have the US997 model and will link mixer paths below if that helps.

Just got a working mixer paths for dual speaker just don't know how to make a module. I did not make this file just think it would help with the module.
Credits to matdu57
https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4305817&d=1508263033
If you tell me the location of the file, the permissions it has, and the full name of the file, I think I can help you.
Edit:
I created the module following the following things:
-I have used the same file name as you have put in Mega (In case your MixerPath has another name, open the zip, go to system / etc and rename the file)
-I have copied exactly the configurations that you have put in the second link, so if it is wrong, I will not be responsible
-If you have any FC maybe it is for the permissions, in that case you must tell me what are the permissions that the original file has
-I have created the module following the template 1400, so if you use Magisk 14.3 beta, the description will not be displayed, but the module will continue to function
I hope it works .

You can run Linux in a VM such as VIRTUAL BOX or VMWARE.
You could also use WSL, but personally have never used it.

i also have a plan to make custom and also my first mod deal with oreo, deodexed already booted and so far so good. the only problem is really laggy at the begining but more u use/open apps, restart and so on..the lag become decrease and now "almost" as normal/odexed speed..
for making custom rom i gez no different with previous android..find the right tool to deodex, then edit desired apk with desired mod then pack it
I was trying to build also a custom ROM with Assayed Kitchen , but same problem with context bin file .
Even with the stock firmware , with TWRP installed and rooted with magisk 18.0 , the first 3 or 4 boot takes longer , but i think there is something inside the new Oreo firmware which recognize that you delete some applications , and after few reboots , the phone is very fast and battery keeps more than 40-46 hours ... which for me it is a very satisfied,
I used Assayed Kitchen for SM-J730GM... SM-T585 ..SM-T560...SM-G900F ...SM-J710FN , and made for myself very fast and battery friendly ROM"S , but i will keep digging to find a way to build one for SM-A605FN ...
I will let you know if i will find something new .
And if you are willing to try a modified mixer_paths.xml in order to have a very nice and loud sound on speakers and Bluetooth i will attached for you .
You need to added in " / vendor / etc " folder and give 644 permission .
Please let me know your opinion , so maybe we can share it after !!!:good::good::good:

You need to added in "system / vendor / etc " folder and give 644 permission .
Please let me know your opinion , so maybe we can share it after !!!:good::good::good:

Every time i make a custom rom and i deodex it,it says already deodexed next to each file. I wonder why?
I believe now we need someone to make a custom kernel with tweeks for battery and performance. 3500 battery and we could make it last much longer. I believe this is a must right now.

I copyied your file to the directory you mentioned. There was already a file with the same name there. I suppose yours has some changes though i didn't notice anything in the sound. After the restart google services show error once in a while.... then i installed viper4android fx from magics modules. After restart my sim signal was lost. V4a showed at apps.i can open it but the driver wont work.i removed it and sim signal came back!! So we still need to make some tests till we find a working v4a....
I was wondering why you got the google service error and viper , so i doubled verify and the file should be in "/vendor/ etc" not in "/system/ / vendor / etc " . And i did modify very carefully each value from original 84 value to 90 in most cases and from 81 to 85 in some headphone values ...
I really apologize for the mistake i did regarding the place of the file where to add it .
You can try again to see if you see any difference .
You have attached some pictures about the place and modifications ..
