Anyone try threes liquid glass nanotechnology acer protectors

Well I have now had my Galaxy S 7 inch for about 2 weeks. I had a brief experience with the clearplex screen protector put on by Best Buy. It is a wedding store type of protection. It was okay however it was a fingerprint magnet and it seemed to scratch easily and on at least two occasions the installation done by Best Buy was not so great. I ended up returning it and getting my money back.
What I noticed is that one store where I purchased my phone from was selling a product called the crystal screen protector which is a coating that you apply to the surface of the glass that then bonds using nanotechnology to the screen it rates its protection as 9h hardness which is the same as glass screen protectors.
It states that this coating is good for one year. The beauty is that it is basically invisible and is so thin that any case that is used would have zero impact on it. In fact nobody with the naked eye would be aware that something is applied. If this in fact works as stated that is incredible. Is it does increase the surface hardness of our gorilla glass screens which is usually something on the order of five or six h hardness. The thing is I am always a skeptic in that sense. I can't really appreciate it being on the surface of the screen I wonder if it's all snake oil so to speak. I am wondering if anybody has any experience with this as I would think our phones are the perfect candidates for this given the amount of difficulty manufacturers have had in producing a tempered glass screen protector that it here as well to the phone and looks good at the same time.

Clearly I am drunk with bad autocorrect.
Title had nothing to do with Acer.
One example is Kristall

Mixed reviews on the whole. I've always been intrigued but have never used myself. The biggest draw back to these is they offer no drop protection like traditional protectors do.

99% sure it's a sham
Considering the screen is already scratch resistant up to 7H, I doubt a coating like that would work. If it were that easy all manufacturers would do it because it's a selling point. You can have air coated sapphire like on the Huawei watch or Nexus 6P's camera, but that's expensive even though it works. I've had my Huawei watch since launch and despite the stainless steel being scratched to no end (316L SS isn't very scratch resistant) the display is perfect without a mark on it. If a company could find a way to offer that I would buy it, but it's very unlikely.

Should I buy Sandstone back case/ Translucent back case/ tempered glass?

There is this December dash sale going on in the oneplus website in India. I have collected enough points to get either of the above mentioned accessories. Considering they're practically free of cost, I can get any one. I can get The translucent and glass protector together. Or I could just the only the sandstone. But I like the sandstone one better.
I have 12 points accumulated.
Sandstone Case- 9 points
Translucent Case- 6 points
Screen protector- 6 points
P.S The screen protector is not the one with black borders that cover the entire screen. It's the one which doesn't fully cover the screen and has its borders on the display.
Ill tell u this. I have not use any screen protector or tempered glass for a few month now. Just the op3 carbon fiber slim case. I have not single microscratch in my screen. If u care about drop protection use a tempered glass if is only for scratch do not worry about it. Get a slim case

The Sandstone Case is fine. I ordered one with my OnePlus 3T in order to have protection out of the box.
However, it doesn't protect the top/bottom of the case, so I've moved to a different case, but it's fine for everyday scratch protection :good:
I've seen first hand a few screens crack, even with slim cases such as the sandstone. The most recent was from a chair onto carpet. I'm not a fan of the 2.5D screens, but it seems like any worth-while phone has it anymore, and I believe it's a contributor to the screen's fragility. The original tgsp probably won't help here, nor will a slim case.
My advice would be either wait to accumulate more points and get something nicer, or spend the money if you feel you need to add protection. I use a Poetic Revolution case, and as of a few days ago, OP's full coverage tgsp. It's taken some fairly hard falls out of my pocket onto a gym floor (I'm a PE teacher) with no ill effects.

Thoughts about this put together bundle I'm readying for my upcoming Note 8?

Hello all,
I'm about to list some items I'm thinking about ordering in prep to maximize the best duration of my preordered Note 8 for the next 2 years. I preordered my phone through Best Buy with Verizon in the Orchid Gray color. If you have better suggestions, post it to let me know!
Case: Spigen CS Slime Armor Wallet case in BLACK: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Galax...514&sr=8-5&keywords=note+8+cs+slim+armor&th=1
Slickwrap skin in BRUSHED STEEL: https://www.slickwraps.com/metal-series-skins-wraps-for-samsung-galaxy-note-8.html
Screen protector (if possible that could work with the skin wrap?): https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Prote...g=androidcentralb-20&ascsubtag=UUacUdUnU62642
I am a bit concerned how I might pit the screen protector with the front part of the wrap, but really I think I just wanted the wrap completely in the backside of the phone to protect the glass. I am ordering through Slickwrap since it seems like there is a great promotion of 42% discount with a special promo code provided by them.
I'm open to suggestion so if anyone could recommend me something different or gives me their experiences, I will be happy with that! Thanks!
I'd say to get the skinomi full body wrap ( $15 ish ). The case is dependent on what you like but I'm in love with the Zizo Bolt case. Used it on my last 2 Samsung's and I drop my phones on concrete a ton. When I turned in my s7 edge, the tmobile rep didn't believe I had It for a year until he saw my account. Still looked like new !
The full body skin adds another level of cushion for drops and also keeps dirt from scratching the phone between the case. Dirt ALWAYS finds its way in so it's a fool proof way of keeping it from hurting the phone body itself.

And ive run this case on all my Samsungs. I love the kick stand built in and the lanyard for when I'm out on the boat snapping photos. It's also protected against literal hundreds of drops. It's protective capabilities are equal to an otterbox defender.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Case, Zizo [Bolt Series] FREE [Curved Full Glass Screen Protector]Kickstand[12 ft. Military Grade Drop Tested]Holster Note 8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0752GRX6N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_yhiTzbZ42C1AR
I'm not using the skinomi screen protector that came with the kit currently though. The zizo bolt comes with a glass one and it feels / works awesomely. No sensitivity loss and no weird rainbows. Ill keep it on until it breaks, then slap the skinomi on while waiting on a new one. Word of advice....
Use the body skin, then heat it with a hair dryer. Then wait a day before installing the phone case.
Then install the glass protector using the case as a guide. Works every time

In search for the Screen Protector that satisfied you most!

Hello there possible saviour of headaches,
I've been browsing around for hours now through fake/legit comments recommending this or that product.
It seems as finding the perfect screen protector for this phone is a hassle, so my question is, of the ones that YOU'VE tried.. which satisfied you the most?
Please post pictures, if you have the energy to do so, on the current state of your screen protector.
Thank you for your time!
Ps. You may claim the title "saviour of headaches" after your contribution.
If you need protector not tempered glass
Buy from official site
I'm using this one https://es.aliexpress.com/item/ZNP-Vidrio-Templado-Para-Xiaomi-Redmi-4-4-Pro-4X4-Redmi-Nota-4-Nota-Pro-4X/32836035031.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.XaBkJF

3mk Arc (also 3mk Arc 3D if you need back/sides protection aswell), it's screen protector over whole screen (it's foil not glass, and yes it goes over the edges aswell), perfect fit it's not even noticable and it's not coming off anywhere, 0 bubbles and it has self regenerating coat..
I tried a lot of screen protectors including Aliexpress ones but they are all trash, all of them have some issues (mostly poor fit, or some weird color issues). But with this i'm 100% satisfied, im not looking for glass protector anymore. This is enough for scratch protection, for drop protection i have case..

Here you have video with 3mk Arc 3D (for different phone) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2phEqkGAAnQ
This is their official store: https://folie-ochronne.3mk.pl/pl/c/Redmi-Note-4-Global/1369 39,99 zł. is around 10 Euros.
I live in Indonesia. I know one trusted screen protector brand. The brand name is INDOSCREEN.
They have some type of screen protector with price range and technology which you can check on their website.
If this brand available to your country I suggest you choose their top line options. Mask premium series hybrid film model for instance. It's impossible to break, made from PET plastic - glass, absorbs low to medium impact, and delicate to touch, oleophobic coated too.
This black and red packaged product is quite pricey. But no compromise quality and lifetime warranty plus 3 times free changing sure is worth the money.
I think the main reason why we not getting a proper screen protector is because of the curved screen ... I hate that 2.5D glass screen. Life was much simpler with a flat screen.
And thats why you shouldn't use tempered glass on this phone but good quality screen film / foil with full screen coverage. 3mk is really top notch quality but feel free to look for some alternatives, i'm not looking anymore.
I use brotect mate since 1 years, perfect ! Find on ebay

My preferred across several devices now is the Nillkin Anti-Glare with Matte finish. It's up to personal preference, but they're the ones I like most. Every new device I migrate to, I purchase 2-4 of these for its lifetime. I like their visual acuity (not as "clear"), touch and feel, ease to clean, and oleophobic effectiveness.
"Nillkin Matte Mi5" will find it on ebay, AliExpress, etc. Check youtube for examples. Like with most plastic film, replace every ~6-12 months depending on your preference.
I´ve been using a no name anti glare foil from Phonenatic and does a good job. Bought on e-bay, a 2 pcs set was €2,40. https://www.ebay.at/itm/371815842272 and also have a 9H glass, this is okay as well. https://www.ebay.at/itm/372136883554
I use this: https://www.gearbest.com/screen-protectors/pp_1284329.html?wid=1433363 and i am very happy with it, it also has all the holes in the right position, so you don't even see and feel that you have it installed

Questions about protecting Note 8

I want to buy Note 8 next week, but before I buy it I want to know the best way to protect this phone.
Regarding the front glass, It looks like none of the conventional tempered glass work well right ? I concluded after reading many previous theads that only Whiestone tempered glasses work. If I am wrong please correct me.
Whitestone is very expensive, I don't live in US and I have no such a thing in my country, so I have to pay its cost + 15 $ for internation shippng, that's 60$ for a tempered glass that is given 3.5 stars rating on amazon, I feel it is a big gamble. I found another company called SGfresh Idea ]that applies the same principle to its tempered glass for 23 $ which is half of what Whitestone asks. Still expensive but If I can guarantee decent result I would give them a try. However I couldn't find any reviews on their product, so If anyone tried Sgfreshidea for their note 8, please share your opinion on them. Their website is sgfreshidea. com
For the back glass, I read many recommendations for Spigen cases, but I hate the shape of their cases. I really like the Alcantara case, but I am not sure if it is enough to give protection to the back glass, any opinions on this case please ?
I also would like to ask about rhinoshield bumpers. There are some famous youtube channels claim that the rhinoshield bumper protect the phone from any fall. They show videos where they throw the phone and do some drop tests but I am not convinced. Does it protect the back and front glass? How does it do so?
Which would be a better option .. Tempered glass + Alcantara case or rhinosheild bumper ?
Thanks in advance

I've thought about a tempered glass as well but I ended up getting the IP68 rated Punkcase simply because it covers the entire phone, doesn't add too much thickness, finger print still works through the case, wireless charging & Samsung Pay works. I know even though the phone is suppose to be rated IP68, water can get in the charging port and you have to wait about 12hrs before you plug it in to charge. Not that I go near water a lot but I can use my Note as a radio in the shower without worries. Now I would like to try and see if a tempered glass would be thin enough to fit inside of the Punkcase.

Search Amazon fie full adhesive tempered glass screen protectors. Theres quite a few now. I personally am using the Singularity brand, but I noticed they just raised their price by about $5.

I'm actually going to switch to the Zagg Curve Elite, which is a full adhesive. Its expensive at $50, but comes with a lifetime warranty. You break it, they replace it. It just costs $6 shipping for the replacement.
As far as cases...I like simple TPU cases. Ringke Air is my favorite.

Do you think the Singularity full adhesive is the same as the other full adhesive protectors? Not withstanding the Zagg Elite which apparently is a new design.

I don't have the Alcantara case so I cant say 100%, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It's pretty case friendly.

I think they're all the same. I can't say that 100%, but I'd bet they are. These companies on Amazon don't make their own TGSP. They buy them from a supplier and relabel them. Same with tires, paper towels, cereal, milk, etc...
