Problem with LeEco Le 2 X620 MTK Chipset/EUI/TWRP/ - LeEco Le 2 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I had a problem with EUI 5.9.028S and i decided to install twrp and another rom to my Le 2. After a great effort i managed and i installed EUI 5.6.014S version..Now i have other problems, every time who i turn on wifi the device download the newer version of EUI,but when rebooting to recovery (to finish the update) shows up the twrp recovery and stops there,i try to install by twrp the update but the device does not turning on (or stucks on logo or turn on and off all the time). Now i don't know what can i do,i want to remove twrp and return to recovery of the device but i cannot because i don't have the zip file who need to do this and i don't know how to do this.
After all of this i'm thinking, if i remove the twrp and get back the recovery when the system needs to update the device will turning on?
The EUI version i'm using is only Chinese and English.
I cannot find nowhere official EUI in sites(all are out)..
Help me please i'm desperate..
Sorry for my English

You can flash the stock rom update using Twrp 3.0.2-0 . But first you need to know the directory/name of the downloaded rom file.
Or you can flash back the stock recovery . Then u'll have no root and no Twrp and possibly no google services(if that rom update is latest version without google).

I try to flash stock update but after that the device stuck on LeEco logo or turning on and off all the time...My device is unrooted. This eui that i use is this: FULL_S2_PLUS_S2_PLUS-CN-FN-HEXCNFN5601405171S-5.6.014S (only Chinese and English without google apps,i download apks files for these),before that the eui verion that i use and working was this: 1513574960_full_s2_plus_s2_plus-cn-fn-hexcnfn5902812161s but i cannot find nowhere anymore..

I'm sorry if I'm annoying but i don't know many things..
Do you mean i do this before the update or to do this to return in another version of eui?

Now the problem is you are stuck at logo/turning off , which usually can be solved by factory reset.
There's a possibility that the stock rom doesnt boot up because of Twrp installed.
Might be easier to just download and flash the Cuoco92 rom , it has google preinstalled so you won't have problems with google apps.

Now,my device working with 5.6.014s and is just fine..
I want to find this zip file: 1513574960_FULL_S2_PLUS_S2_PLUS-CN-FN-HEXCNFN5902812161S (but i cannot find it) because and this working well..
After that i want to remove twrp and install the stock recovery of the phone but i don't have the zip file for recovery and i don't know how to do this..
I don't want to install other rom but thanks for your responding and for your time..i
Appreciate it??

https://devsjournal.com/download-letv-official-stock-rom.html#Le_2_Pro_Stock_ROM
Le 2 and Le 2 pro using same rom.

I know because i try to install this file,it's not the same..with this file(le 2 le 2 pro) the device stucks and not turning on..

Can anyone help me please!!!!

I found download page for official stable Eui offline package, all models.

You might have to flash gapps package ,use this gapps for AOSP/CM roms:

Put the phone in fastboot mode. install the official firmware 23S.
(you do not have twrp running since the kernel version is higher than in the firmware 14S)

It worked in my case, so I'm pretty sure u can, but ur current recovery will be overwritten with stock MIUI recovery. I'm using official TWRP 3.0.2.0 btw.
Also, Do with your own risk, I'm not responsible for anything
If the upgrades will lose the twrp recovery.
I installed the miui8 after the twrp recovery after downloading a recovery rom and make installation of twrp only wipe case and dalvic case not to lose twrp recovery.

Hi, I reinstalled the stock recovery and then I just flashed the flyme 6.1 update.zip.
I found the stock recovery for my phone here (THE MINI VERSION) (I can't post link, it's in the verdict)
DO NOT USE THAT IF YOU'RE NOT SURE IT'S COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR PHONE. You can brick your phone entirely.
Here's the steps
1- Boot into fastboot
2- On a terminal run "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
3- Wait 2-3 minutes and reboot
Now you have your stock recovery back you can download flyme and install it the usual way
well sorry for being late but yes you can flash Flyme over TWRP no problem there but sometime flyme recovery overwrite TWRP so take care of it flash it again via pc

Cant return to MIUI from LineageOS

Wipe everything
Install global developer zip file
When reboot, twrp says no OS installed
Help pls
if the recovery method of flashing the full rom fails, then you have no other recourse except to flash via fastboot method.
take note of this "Please wipe all data in Recovery mode if you want to update to a discontinuous ROM version, or downgrade to an older ROM version using MIUI full ROM pack. If you upgrade from MIUI Stable ROM based on Android M to MIUI Developer ROM based on Android N, please flash it via Fastboot update. Recovery update might cause upgrade failure."

The reason is, that you can't flash OFFICIAL Chinese (Developer/Stadle) Rom with cusom recovery (TWRP). But you can flash anything esle. Like Lineage OS. If you want to use MIUI Rom, you have to flast a Xiaomi.eu ( developer or stable) rom. NOT OFFICIIAL CHINESE !!! If you prefer Official Chinese Global rom, you must download a FASTBOOT rom (not recovery) , and flash it in fastboot mode, with MiFlash.
instead of beating around the bush, why not follow the official procedure of flashing an official miui rom
if you are coming from a custom rom, as specified herein?:
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
When can we expect official RR for mi max 2?
It was already available for redmi note 4 which is having the same processor.
You have to wait for custom Rom until miui release the kernel source which is must have to develop a custom one. please be patience...
If you flash rom with out error, Even no os installed warning, you can boot into system without problem.

Requesting help for updating to V9.2.1.0.NDDMIEK on Magisk-ed Oxygen

Hi, I'm currently running MIUI Global 9.0 Stable 9.0.3.0 (NDDMIEI) in my Mi Max 2.
I have followed the guide to install the TWRP 3.1.1 and have rooted via Magisk method and running it.
I have received the OTA update V9.2.1.0.NDDMIEK and is downloaded automatically.
I'm guessing I can't install this OTA downloaded update via TWRP? Do I have to wait for the flashable zip of this update?
Or should I unroot, flash stock recovery and then do the OTA update, and then repeat the TWRP and Magisk again?
Thank you for any help.
I have same problem. Anybody can help ? Thanks !

You can let it update, with no problem at all. After you hit the restart to apply update button, it will direct you to TWRP and you can flash the OTA update using twrp. It will not cause bootloop, or whatsoever. You will just need to hit the restart button after TWRP have flashed the OTA and it will reboot to apply update. However, you will need to flash TWRP again if you didn't change something in the terminal cuz Miui recovery will replace twrp. It's like a code to make TWRP to replace MIUI recovery permanently. ( It has a guide somewhere in this forum to teach you how to use TWRP to replace MIUI recovery permanently) Ok, so if you didn't change the code, you have to flash TWRP everytime you update via OTA. I flash TWRP again and again nearly every week after OTA cuz I'm on developer rom and developer rom nearly updates every week. So the main point is, no worries ya. You can go ahead and flash the OTA as it won't cause bootloop.

Hmm....wait. So you go to TWRP and flash the rom? I mean, you manually reboot into recovery, and then manually flash the OTA? It can't be done like that, for sure will get error. What i meant and what i always did is let the download manager downloaded the OTA package( The download manager is in the "about phone" section), then after done downloading, press reboot and it will automatically direct you to TWRP and it flashes the OTA packages automatically and will be succesful. But if your problem still persists, i have no idea what's going on. Maybe the global rom OTA packages is different from Developer's one.
As for me, the first time my phone downloaded the incremental update which was a few hundred MB in size, when I pressed update, it went to TWRP. But from there nothing happened. It just showed the home screen of the TWRP. After waiting for a few minutes, I simply rebooted using TWRP's menu.
When returned to system, the phone said the update was not successful and mentioned something about downloading full rom. When I woke up, it had completed download the full rom which is 1.43GB.
I haven't updated yet, using MIUI menu, until I want to make sure how to correctly update without problems.
I don't mind reflashing TWRP and and MAGISK again, though. Just wanted to update without getting into some sort of trouble which may prolong the process of getting back to normal working status.
Just made a TWRP backup.
Thanks for any suggestions.

no need for custom roms, u only need twrp. so if u prefer twrp flashing but still keeping stock miui firmware, this is a nice option. other than the twrp install routine there is nothing changed in those roms.
