Full Andoid Backup including system etc and apps / Simple Magisk Module - Magisk

Please someone create a module for full andoid backup including system etc, apps.
For people who don't have TWRP because is not available and no Root access only using Magisk . It will be a great deal and help last rescue. Thank you so much for understanding.

Not working for my LeEco le3 Pro AI x650

Uhhh if your phone doesn't have root, then you don't have Magisk. So a Magisk mod is useless for you. If you do have root just use titanium backup or similar app to back your apps up and restore them. It can even do system apps.

FlashFire doesn't work on my phone

you can use migrate to backup
Migrate - ROM data backup: 4.0 - Apps on Google Play
after flash your rom and root install Migate flasher and restore without custom recovery
Migrate flasher - Apps on Google Play

...and it works with A12 n A13? On phones with A/B partition? If so, I need to give it another, esp. since the new version...fingers crossed.

I test it on A12 & A13, using emergency restore but it's only useful in backup user and system apps, not full system backup

Root explorer has always and still does work for me. I'd personally wait for a custom recovery before messing with the phone too much, but it's up to you.

I read a couple places there is a way to put a custom recovery on unless our us at&t model isn't supported (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2554004) and I also read another thread that we could use freegee pro to install cwm or twrp... is any of this true?'
would titanium backup be the best app for removing bloat?

I keep forgetting that there's more than one variant of this phone in the same section (which will be interesting when it comes to flashing roms)
As far as I know, the Sprint and T-Mobile variants still have locked bootloaders and no custom recoveries. As for the AT&T variant and freegee pro, I have no idea.
As for removing bloat, I like to use Root Explorer...I don't know if there is a best app, it really depends on what app suits your needs.

[Q] Can't reboot after xposed framework installation!

Hello dudes, I currently use the MIUI V4 ICS 3.22 rom on my galaxy mini. Yesterday I have installed an app called greenify. I wanted to use the hole features of the app so I have installed the Xposed Framework. But after the restart my device is stopping rebooting at the bootanimation. With the deactivation zip on my sd card I could uninstall the framework. How can I bring the framework to work?
Thanks in advance!

Xposed is not compatible with any MIUI ROM and it will never ever be. At least not fully.

Dude!
Should have read the installation instructions beforehand
The Xposed framework is not compatible with miui
Now the only way out, according to me, is by restoring the file system through a nandroid backup.
I'm sorry but no one can help you in any other way.
Not being rude but dude read the whole post before installing anything in your phone.
Other than that I should however tell you that greenery without xposed also works great. Believe me I have used it and still use it.

before you re-flash the whole rom, check if there's an uninstall recovery zip (it should be on your sd)
@TARUN SIDHARTH is "greenery" a different app or you simply use greenify without xposed?!? is it possible to greenify system apps (with a donate version of course)?

Greenery is a standalone app which works great and does exactly what it offers. The xposed framework just empowers it a bit more and makes it a bit more efficient. But even then Its not necessary that you have to install xposed framework for it to work its magic.
And yes to answer your other question you can greenify system apps with it although that's only available in the donate version.
He sure however that you are careful doing that since greenifying the wrong stood can make your system unstable or cause other problems that may interfere in is optimum functioning.

amazing! think i tried almost every possible auto-start blocking app (autostarts, auto-this-and-that, various managers) and none have had a lot of success with the stuff i wish to block (possibly without total disabling and/or freezing (with TiB)
my google magic failed and all i could find was gardening and themeing apps
can you please provide us with the link or pm me some other details

Details details... Lemme see what more there is to know
Oh yeah umm.. Most of the startup managers for Android are full of crap... The play store ones atleast coz the Google developers policy doesn't allow such apps which actually work really well in this context... Still don't know how they decide that though. Well whatever if you had xposed then it could have been possible. But even then install gsam battery monitor and note the apps which consume the most system resources. Greenify them if you wish to and then they'll open/consume system resources only when they are active ie you are using them in real time.
That's all I guess

How to downgrade from any snapchat version to [9.3.1.0] to use snapprefs 1.4.2

In this thread I will explain you how to downgrade to snapchat v9.3.1.0 so you can use snapprefs again[ROOT].
Requirements:
- Latest snapchat version installed
- snapchat 9.3.1.0.apk
- Titanium Backup
- Xposed installer
1. Make sure you have logged in to your latest snapchat version.
2. Open up Titanium Backup and go to Backup/Restore > Snapchat > and Click Backup !
3. Now got to your currently installed snapchat APP info and click clear data and then uninstall it.
4. Now install snapchat 9.3.1.0.apkAfter install is complete DO NOT OPEN SNAPCHAT!!!
5. go back to Titanium Backup and go to Backup/Restore > Snapchat > Restore > MAKE SURE YOU CLICK "DATA ONLY"
6. Just download xposed installer and snapprefs and you will be ready to go!
Great
This guide worked great for me! Thanks mate for this.
I dont really understand the backup part. Why då you need to backup? It's just to uninstall and install and done?

Because you can use a older version of snapchat if you are already use it but you can't log in
I kind of do it in reverse. I have a backup of Snapchat 9.3.1.0 in Titanium and using the 9.7.0.0 apk to install snapchat. So...
- Install latest Snapchat from either playstore or grab the apk from apkmirror
- Login to snapchat
- Open titanium and restore ONLY APP for Snapchat 9.3.1.0
Obviously latest xposed unofficial and snapprefs are installed and working properly too. Either method seems to work though.
I did it both ways and cant get it to work
thanks i really needed this!

Are you sure xposed is installed and working properly? What rom and device are you using? I noticed when I flash some roms I tend to have issues with SELinux (enforcing vs permissive) or it seems maybe some roms are so heavily optimized with all these wacky unnecessary toolchains that xposed just doesnt work at all on it.
Lol I was actually about to post again. I got it working. Stock rom BTW

Nvm im dumb
Just download the latest version, log into it and make a back up. Then delete the latest version. And install the old version and restore your made back up.

Or use the Xinstaller Xposed module and just install the 9.3.1.0 apk over the latest after you logged in, no need for Titanium Backup.
Can someone tell me what is so good about the snapprefs 1.4.2 ?
and does anyone know how to share a library pic and make it my story, as when I share a pic from my library i can only individually send it to people

Everything works on 1.4.2, and many don't like what Snapchat has done to the app as far as changes go.
For sharing, the latest 1.4.5 works fine sharing images from your gallery to your story or to individuals.

Hey Guys, im currently trying to get Snapchat working on my Desire HD with MIUI. I have Android 2.3.7.
I want to try this method but i cant download the latest app version because my device doesn't support it.
Could somebody may create a new accound, backup the data with Titanium and maybe upload it somewhere? I don't know what else i could do.
I'm on Miui8. I tried this method. Everything was going good. But at last when I restored the data, snapchat automatically logged me out of it.

Snapchat log in issue (solved)

Hello,
I just bought a mi5 today and I can't log into snapchat. Whenever I type my username and password it says that the login temporarily failed. I have my Google account set up and synced. I also don't have root.
Have you guys had any problems like that? Or any idea I can try?
Thanks!
Yes, I have fix this issue by change the permission from google application.
Cannot post screen (New user restriction...)
Could you be more specific? I think I granted all the permissions to Google Apps...
LE: I downloaded more apps from Google and made sure that every one of them has all permissions. Thank you!

If it doesn't work, consider flashing the global rom.
You don't have xposed installed do you? Also why bother posting a thread without a logcat. Without the proper testing done your issue would be due to it just being a piece of junk.

Snapchat is now looking for both root and xposed and refuses to work if either is installed.
Working with root, had to uninstall xposed framework and it worked. Will try to install framework again and see if its still works. Will try to install rootcloak.
Edit: Snapchat working now after first logging in then install xposed framework latest update and then reboot, still works as promised.

magisk root VS chainfire

Not a step down at all, I've only had Titanium Backup give me any type of warning about it, but gave me no problems.
Sent from my H1611 using Tapatalk
Not sure why you think it would be a "downgrade". It give you root, and that root functionality is not significantly any different from SuperSU. Plus, Magisk has a big collection of cool "systemless" modules which can be easily loaded and unloaded.
Each method has its pros and cons. Read up on both, and decide, as it's primarily a personal preference. But personally, I was a longtime SuperSU user, and was hesitant to jump on the Magisk bandwagon. But now that I have, I have yet to go back or even consider it.
The thing is, magisk provides simplicity over SuperSU. Also systemless feature give it ahead start of SuperSU

MagiskSU is based on SU original binaries so isn't a downgrade, its just that if you use Magisk, the su binary u will use will be ajusted for Magisk compatibility.
