Looking for Chinese ALOO Original OEMINFO file

As the title says, looking for the original OEMInfo file as I forgot I could back mine up before I tried to trick the device into being an EU model ... (it worked fine mind you - but now won't take any updates)

how did you trick it to being EU model? flashed C432 OEM-file from an EU P9?

Process is dead easy, however my phone thinks its a L09 not a l19 (dual sim) which is not the end of the world as dual sim still works. BUT the 168 chinese ROM has a more advanced (and easier to use) SIM swop functionality (switching between which SIM has the 3/4G connectivity)
Just wish I could get my hands on the oem-file (orignal)

Awesome!! Does it mean it'll just update to am EU firmware? Or do I have to flash it manually? And would OTA update still work?

1) Backup your oeminfo file !!! and then send it to me (if you have the same phone as me)
2) swap the oeminfo file with the Eu one
3) apply a EU firmware
4) relock the bootloader
5) OTA updates will work
Its fairly straight forward and well documented on the forum. i currently have the latest EU firmware on my Chinese AL00 L9 device

Milamber, Slug32 - could one of you send the oeminfo for EVA-AL00 to me as well? I tried switching to the asia variant using SRKTool and now I am stuck in a weird state. Hoping to get back to the original (or cleanly move to the EU one - but I am not brave enough for that anymore - instructions welcome).

Android: v5.0.1
Build Number: ALE-L21FRC530B171
EMUI Version: 3.1
How I can update to MM? What firmware I have to flash first?
After many attempts always i get Failed...

Click, 3.Network information>4.Vendor country info What it says ?
Eu If not, you should make the country code eu

I used the HiCare app from the app store (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huawei.hicare&hl=en_GB). Download and install then check for updates.. Take a backup of your phone first using the HiSuite software (consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/mobile-phones/p8lite_uk-sup.htm)

update your HiCare app.

Are you sure your phone is dual sim because B171 is for single sim?

Maybe check about phone and see how many imei numbers are there. But I am sure B171 is for single sim. B170 is for dual sim.

Debrand Huawei p8 lite 2017

Hi I bought recently the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 but it have the (italian) vodafone brand.
Is there a method, possibly without losing warranty, but never mind if will lose it, to debrand it in case if it will not receive android oreo? And will ota work after I debranded it?

For debranding your device you have to unlock your bootloader first.
Then you can follow the guide for changing the device from Single to Dual sim (I link it for you here): https://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1326478 (guide is in Spanish,use Google Translate if you encount any problem)

Note that an unlocked bootloader is required. Since Huawei doesn't issue the codes anymore this may cost you a few euros (e.g. DCUnlocker).

I am not sure. Huawei changed the bootloader a few months ago, which makes it impossible to roll back to older versions. I sold my P10, so I do not follow its developments anymore. So please check in the thread.

If you search on Bootloader unlock on XDA you should find a lot of discussions, and that Huawei no longer provides you must buy from eg DC Unlocker (search also for that on XDA), 4 Eur credit
There are other services but more expensive
But if you are on c900 you maybe already did rebranding in the past (or somebody sold you a rebranded phone with a 'wrong' cust) - Bootloader code is one and the same for patticular phone, if you have it from the past you can reuse it
