I'm thinking of buying a gift for my parents - should I get a smart speaker or a smart display for them? Would love to get some opinions before I purchase one.

Best place to buy the X1a? Best Buy, SonyStyle, Other?

What's the best place for me to buy an X1a? Thus far, the only places I know of are Best Buy and SonyStyle. I know I can save a ton of cash on eBay, but I want the factory warranty to work in case anything ever goes wrong with it. Normally, I'm a fix it yourself kind of guy, but the X1a quality issues I've seen on this board scare me, and make me feel as if I really need a warranty/exchange policy to back me up on this purchase.
Does anyone have any reccomendations or insight?
I bought mine from BestBuy, I wouldn't trust eBay just yet, you'll probably end up with a silver X1i.
i bought mine at sony style a while back. i would buy from best buy, its cheaper and you can always return before the first months runs out if you have a problem with it.
Try Dell $637

If you have a Fry's Electronics in your area I would recommend them. I believe I saw them carrying the X1a for around $700. Save yourself a few bucks, plus I've had excellent dealings with them in the past.

Getting Pebble

hello everyone. I want to buy a Pebble but I'm living in Turkey and I don't want to wait it like 6-7 months. ıs there anyway I can get pebble having normal shipping processes. I checked eBay but they want $225 for $150 watch.
Do you guys recommend Pebble? There's a new Sony Smartwatch2 which is entices me. And a lot of other watches.
Soo?
(I also have a Sony SmartWatch but I just don't like it.)

Tried the Smartwatch too, but actually wound up returning it. Too many litle things I did not like. As far as the Pebble now, for what it is I love it. Sure there are newer more sexy ones coming on the market, but for now this is just the best there is, and I can always get one of the new models next year.
Here in the States they have started selling the watch in Best Buy Stores here. If there is anyone you know that can pick one up for you, then that may be the best option. I don't know what the shipping restrictions are, but I think it can be sent to you.
Good luck!

I'm going to buy a new TV, anything to look out for?

Whats Good XDA,
I'm in the market for an HDTV and I'd appreciate everyone's input and experience.
This TV is going to be used as a 2nd monitor for my home-theater PC and also for my ps4. I am not interested in WiFi/3D/'Smart Features' as I have a custom desktop to handle all of those things. My budget is around 600-700 dollars.
I was thinking about getting this:

Or something pretty similar to that.
Is there anything becides input lag that I should be concerned about when buying something like this? Does anyone have any inside information on great deals this holiday season?
Cheers

Also considering this, that retailer also has 3.5% sales tax

How should I sell my XSP?

So I've decided I'm going to move up to the OnePlus One in a couple of weeks. I feel like this phone running really well is a dying dream. I will miss the awesome lightbar but I won't miss 1GB of RAM
I would like to sell my XSP for cash to fund the new phone, but I am unsure where I should sell it?
I'm from the UK so I was thinking of taking it into Computer Exchange (CEX), but they say the phone is only worth £55 which is disappointing.
I could also try Swappa but I had trouble last time I used it and it was selling in dollars only for me?
I could do eBay but I dislike the cuts that PayPal and eBay take for sales.
Does anyone have any suggestions for selling this phone for a decent price?
Thanks
