pure floor sound via Tidal, with no sound tweaks from the smartphone - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

I'm looking for a way that when I hear about Spotify or Tidal music, I get the pure stick sound output as the sound of Spotify or Tidal is intended. Unfortunately, there are always some soundlibs or tweaks from Samsung in between. Does anyone have a solution for me, as I only get the pure sound output? I am grateful for any help. I use an old Sony Z2 at work, where probably all the soundlibs and tweaks are bypassed when I use Tidal, because it does not matter if I turn the sound options on or off, it always stays the same sound, which really sounds very good.

Sound Issue (Music player)

hey guys, i noticed a REALLY annoying thing when i was going through the EQ presets in stock music player. If i choose Bass Boost, then my headphones start to behave strangely, like they cant handle the sound, on every thump there is a crackle in the headphones. you could say that its my headphones fault, but wait, heres the best part, ALL of my 3 headphones do the same + my computer speakers.
only happens on Bass Boost preset. guys try to play some track with a heavy bass beat, test if you have the same.
maybe there is an issue with the sound chip, idk. not a real argument to return the phone lol..
i wouldnt mind this, but bass boost is the best sounding preset (virtual surround is cool too, but its a bit too flat for me)
thx. lol, this came out to be quite a post

Audio jitters from phone while using bluetooth?

I link my phone to bluetooth to play audio through various devices and when I get a notification the proper sound plays seamlessly through the bluetooth medium. However, a squeaky and completely distorted version simultaneously plays from the phone itself. It sounds a lot like Cousin It from the adams family...
Does it do this for you folks?
Could it be a bug in trickdroid?
I've done a lazy fix by just putting the phone on vibrate when I'm listening to tunes but then I don't get any notifications...

Audio

Can someone comment on the music player audio quality and how it compares to viperaudio mod? If it is subpar, what music player are you using? I'm on verizon so viperaudio is not an option until/if we get root. Thanks in advance.

My experience so far has been good. Through the 3.5mm headphone jack it plays really well through my car stereo, nice dynamic sound with pretty low distortion. More base heavy than I would go for but definitely well rounded. The phone speaker itself I find a little distorted due to the big base but it depends on your style of music and volume levels. The volume goes quite high also.
I'm comparing this to my last phone which was the nexus 5, personally I felt the nexus 5 volume was too low and lacked any base and made it sound tinny because of it. Even with viper audio I was never satisfied with it. The Moto x on the other hand got a few smiles from me with how it handled some of my favorite tracks on my commute.
The last phone I can remember really enjoying my music on was the galaxy s1 international version with voodoo music mod. That was quite a while though and honestly can't remember it enough to compare. Still, maybe that gives you some indication to what I would be looking for audio wise
Im using Apollo for my music player and the sound is great. If u have upgraded to 5.0 theres a built in EQ under settings/sound where u can modify how it sounds thru headphones and front speakers.
That's also in 4.4

Static/hissing noise at low volume

Hello!
I have a problem with my new Xiaomi Mi 8. I would like to confirm if its only my device doing that or other devices too. Its running Android 9 with Miui 10.2.3.0.
When I set the lowest possible volume (not muted) the static noise is louder than the sound coming out of built in speaker or earphones connected via jack. It is pretty noticable even when the sound is set to high and there are e.g. silent parts of song. It does not matter which app I use (youtube, spotify, default music app). When I connect my bluetooth headset everything is okay and the sound is clear.
For testing purposes I am using song Kaleo - Way We Go Down. I find it most noticable there. The song even breaks and stops playing for a few milliseconds in the begining. Can you guys somehow test this issue and reply here with the results? I want to see if I am the only one having this problem.
Btw when I connect my earphones to my 4 years old iphone 6 the sound is crystal clear.
Thank you.

[HELP] Bluetooth not working for app sound but working fine for musics

When I connect my Bluetooth earphones to my XZ2, musics and videos play just fine.
But when it comes to eventful sound (e.g. notification sound, words reading out by clicking in dictionary app or Duolingo, sound effect in games etc. ), it doesn't work reliably. Sometimes it plays the sound, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it plays only part of the sound. And the sound level varies inspite of the same settings.
I am sure that the earphones are not broken as I tested them with my retired Nexus 6 and the above issue doesn't happen.
I also noted that every time I change the Bluetooth AVRCP version, the first eventful sound would be successfully played but the subsequent eventful sound will not be played. And I cannot change the Bluetooth audio codec from "Streaming: Disable optional codecs), it will automatically spring back after switching to other apps.
I would be thankful if anyone could shed some light on this issue.
