Tutorial- Port ARMv7 games to ARMv6

Just developed this method (had nothing better to do ) ,but requires root acess.
DO NOT WORK WITH ALL APPS
1-Download Astro file manager and rom toolbox from market (google play store).
2-Put the app in an empty folder at your SdCard.
3-Exctract it (to that folder, of course )
4-At rom toolbox, select "build.prop editor" option, and change both "ro.prodduct.cpu.abi" lines from "armeabi-v6l" to "armeabi-v7l" and change both "ro.product.brand" and "ro.product.manufacturer" lines to "LGE" and after this, change the "ro.product.model" line to "LG-P970" , press menu button and select reboot option.
5-Download the correct armv6 lib file of your game (google it) anf go to astro file manager (to the: folder of the extracted game) and go to lib/armeabi-v7l/ and delete the file if was here, now get the downloaded lib file, put it here and rename it to the name of the file you'v been deleted. Now get "multi" option and select all extracted files and select "zip", and wait it complete, after this rename the .zip file to .apk file, install and play!
yep, i am brazilian and i developed this method! (had nothing better to do)
And......why Optimus Black user need to port it?
No offence

How to remove background color from apps

Hey guys,
you might have discovered that on your Mate 7 all app icons (that shouldn't have a background) have a background set by your phone.
However, this does not always look good (in my opinion at least) - so I tried to fix it.
There is basically a simple solution to it which I want to share with you here.
Requirements
7zip or any other similar tool on your computer
A file manager app on your phone that supports accessing the whole file system (for example "FX File Explorer")
My solution will probably work with other apps and programs too but I will only describe it for these exact ones.
Part 1: Copying the theme to an accessible location
Copying a preinstalled theme
Open FX File Explorer on your phone. Locate the System category and open it.
Navigate to /system/themes and copy the file you wish to modify. (long press -> copy). The default theme is "Golden.hwt"
Now go back to the main window in FX.
Go to Main Storage and paste the file there. (click on "CLIPBOARD" in the top right corner and click paste in the sidebar that just opened)
Copying a user-installed theme
For user-installed themes this process is optional and mostly unnecessary. However, I will explain it anyway:
Open FX File Explorer on your phone. Locate the Main Storage category and open it
Navigate to HWThemes and copy the file you wish to modify. This time you might have to copy all the .hwt files because they aren't named the same as the theme.
Step 3 and 4 are the same as for preinstalled themes.
Part 2: Modifying the theme
Connect your phone to your computer. Open it with explorer or the file manager you have installed if you are not using Windows.
In the folder Internal Storage you should now find the themes you copied in part 1. Move them to your computer.
For user-installed themes you have to locate the correct theme first. To do that, you have to open each file with 7zip and look for the name in the file description.xml inside the zip (The name is always the entry "title")
Once you have found the correct theme, open it with 7zip. then doubleclick on icons inside the zip.
Download the universal transparent icon pack from the attachment. Open it in a seperate window of 7zip.
Copy all the files in the downloaded zip to the image folder in the theme.
Now navigate up one directory inside the theme zip. Open the file description.xml again and change the name inside the title tag. (Example: <title>XYZ</title> -> <title>XYZ_modified</title>
Close 7zip and copy the file back to your device. YOU HAVE TO PLACE IT IN THE "HWThemes" FOLDER!
Now you can enable the theme just like you activate any other theme (in the Designs app)
Congratulations, you have removed the icon backgrounds from your theme.
Sorry if my english is not that good... It's not my native language
I tried this on Ascend G6 (EMUI3.0).
Srangly enough, it works for some icons, but some icons (not the stock ones!) still have a coloured added background.

Hello ,
Here is the Best way to enable the A-Z Sort on HomeTouchWiz
I tried
Add <CscFeature_Launcher_EnableViewByAlphabetAsDefau lt >true</CscFeature_Launcher_EnableViewByAlphabetAsDefault> in others.html
but i wasn't able to create Folder Unless if i change the true to false beside its not the official way for S6 Launcher..
So
Download the 2 files from the zip ( its a MiX from VZW and RWC )
extract the folder CSC.zip and move costumer.xml and others.xml to the /system/csc/( copy it here ) and set the permission 644 and reboot.
download:
CSC.zip
Click to collapse
Download the CSC Feature app from the store and go to the Launcher section and find the right feature and put it to true. Worked for me.

[GUIDE] Huawei P9 Lite FM Radio

.
Hi friends. I'm from Turkey.
Our stock firmwares not include FM radio in Turkey (and maybe diffirent countries. I don't know).
I will show you how to enable fm radio for Huawei P9 Lite.
For Android 6.0 (Emui 4)
Download HwFMRadio.apk Here
Go to system/app folder, create new folder and rename it to HwFMRadio
Copy downloaded HwFMRadio.apk file to this folder
Set permissions
Go to cust/channel/tr/prop (mine is "tr", yours maybe diffirent)
Open local.prop file in text editor
Find this line: ro.config.fm.disable=true and change it to false
Save and exit
Reboot the phone.
For Android 7.0 (Emui 5)
Go to product/app folder. If there is a folder named HwFMRadio, pass 2. item.
If there is not HwFMRadio folder, then create it.
Download the apk from here and copy it to HwFMRadio folder. And set permissions.
Go to cust/channel/tr/prop (mine is "tr", yours maybe diffirent)
Open local.prop file in text editor
Find this line: ro.config.fm.disable=true and change it to false
Save and exit
Go to cust/channel/tr/xml (mine is "tr", yours maybe diffirent)
Open unstall_apk.xml file in text editor
Delete lines containing "HwFMRadio"
Save and exit
Reboot the phone

How to keep third party apps from disappearing from Android Auto

So this is for any phone that is rooted. I kind of stumbled on it by just modifying/deleting entries inside of com.google.android.projection.gearhead. I use mixplorer cause its the easiest most user friendly.
1. Open mixplorer and navigate to /data/data/com.google.android.projection.gearhead/files/phenotype/shared/
2. Open gh.phenotype.pb as text with the in app code editor
3. Search for
AppValidation__blocked_packages_by_installer
4. Delete the line of the app your trying to use and save the file.
5. Press and hold on the file and select I on the top.
6. Change owner to root 0 and set permission to rw 600 if it's different.
That's it. My file hasn't updated since February 21 and I continually update Android auto and won't lose any app like obd2aa or fermata and the like. Hopefully it'll work for you too.
Hello, I have looked in the folder /data/data/com.google.android.projection.gearhead/files/phenotype/shared/, but I don't have the gh.phenotype.pb file as you can see in the screenshot. Can it be in another folder? Thank you
