I'm at 3 hours, and have 40% left. A majority of it was playing dumb Angry Birds 2 lol

11 hours of screen in navigation mode.

How the hell are you guys getting that runtime ?
20% left , SOT 3h2m
90hz, BT, WIFI off unless at home.

Heavy use endurance

Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the LG Nexus 5X's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.

When using heavily I am out of juice by 4pm if off the charger at 7am.

How about the battery life for things like video, or is that what you were doing?

You mean HEAVILY
Heavy usage scenario
Over 3 hours switching between gaming and streaming a live sporting event with Chrome, texting and emails in between. 40% brightness, no settings disabled, everything stock.
I'm impressed how games don't slow down to a crawl on this device even at its maximum throttled point, and the device stays quite cool as well. It has the perfect balance between performance, battery life and heat in these kinds of high load scenarios. In my experience this is a huge improvement over the N5 which was both hot and slow after 15-20 minutes of heavy usage.

Depending on game you can have an average of 4.5 hours of non-stop gaming which is impressive for this kind of performance. My best is 5.5 sot playing wonder tactics (yes it was a lazy lazy day)
From my side, in overall 4 hours of non-stop gaming using hard 3D games with wi-fi enabled and 50% of brightness.
If using web,YouTube and games battery drain fast.
Right now my phone lasts about 3-4 hours with heavy usage. I'm hoping I can get this straightened out. I may have to upgrade to the Nexus 6p or hope they develop a battery case for extended juice.
Heavy use endurance is poor, on a heavy usage day I go through two full charges.

Been browsing xda fir about a half hour now on WiFi. Brightness just above 1/4. Used a whopping 6% battery.
Screen on time is on par, maybe a bit less than the best phones I have used. A lot better than my G5.

a normal 3 to 5 hours screen on time compared to my prev iP6 plus with at least 5.5 hours sot.
With a minimal of camera usage, it will not last more than 4 hours...
Absolute rubbish. I get only 3-4 hours max on my device. Compare to my Moto G 2015 where I had 5-7hours is just not good enough.
I guess 6-7 hours. Chrome, WhatsApp. I seem to get better battery life using mobile networks. I can't confirm that though.

The same thing happened to me
Aprox 4h SoT. Wifi on, mobile data on, facebook, instagram, facebook messenger lite, whatsapp, internet, game (two dots). Lasts 24 hours without a problem. The relatively short SoT is because TWO DOTS (the game) eats battery pretty well. And from 11PM - 6AM battery consumtion is about 1%-2%.
So I am very happy.
And I am on L29C432B171 ...no root
Got pretty good sot Whit my p10 , some fb ,g+ internet browsing watching movies and ofc xda reading

I'm impressed after the first full day of use; 4h 7min SOT, battery at 51%
This was fully stock, no wakelocks blocked, no bloatware uninstalled, no mods done at all.

3 hours
Getting up to 9 hours SOT. Some mods from XDA including custom kernel, LineageOS 12, Naptime/Doze apps from the Play Store (developed by an ex-google staff member called Franco).
