Has anyone got a boot.img for Nora xt1944-1? - Moto E5 Questions & Answers

Just like the title says, I'm in need of the stock kernel for an xt1944-1 or full firmware pacakge.
Or is it possible to flash other variants, its confusing having so many increments on each model (xt1944 has 6!)
Anything would be a great help

Can i get DDJPA Indian GB stock kernel?

Dear friends
I have Rooted my Indian GSM Tab [P-1000] having DDJPA Gingerbread with CF-Root and now i want DDJPA Indian GB stock kernel.[Why? Because i have read in some threads that this rooting kernel is an unstable one and i have to reflash stock kernel after rooting so that the system will be still rooted but be stable as it is original.]
So can any of you upload that DDJPA Indian GB stock kernel and give me download link?
Thanx in advance.
I don't think there is any difference in indian or italian gb versions. And you can look into development tab for kernels.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda premium
First use the search to find DDJPA firmware
you can get it here ---> http://www.multiupload.com/E3Y46J67TD
Help me Devs!!! Hex idea got me bricked
Please Devs help me.
I flashed the kernel uploaded by hex in the above post and my tab is bricked.
Now i am getting a phone and computer picture with a triangle between them.
My details:
DDJPA indian Gingerbread rooted with chainfire kernel.now bricked when i tried to flash with DDJPA kernel.
Thanx.
Dude dont accuse me

btw did you use odin or heimdall????
No offence intended
Hi Hex
I am not blaming you.
Update1: Uesd this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133590advice and got my Tab alive[My god!!Now i know what is the meaning of Anxiety].
Update 2: If u have rooted ur device with Chainfire kernel do not flash with any other kernel[Devs please! Prove me wrong]
Update3: The above kernel uploaded by Hex might not be extracted in the proper manner.Kernel extraction is a really complicated process and you can not use the zImage you get from the firmware TAR as such.[Please Hex, no offence intended]Please delete it before anybody else bricks his device.
Thanx Kosh! Ur posts r really helpful to our community.
Is the kernal the base software sort of thing? I have a sprint (usa) galaxy tab and I want mine to be like the UK tabs would I just need the EURO kernal?
Would this have the UK language pack?
Thanks

[Q] I'm confused

Hi guys, i've just bought a Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 and I'm a little confused. My previous phone was a Galaxy Ace S5830i, I had that phone rooted (but it was too easy, just flash a .zip file) and with a custom rom.
So I have some questions:
1) For now I just want to root my new phone but the methods that I found here are not too clear to me. I first saw this method, but my firmware is not there. My phone came with I9070UBLI1 (2.3.6 GB). So i can't root my phone? my kernel isn't even in sammobile.com/firmwares
2) I want to make a backup just in case before rooting, so, what recovery should I use with this phone? cwm? this? or which one?
3) What is "binary counter"? In galaxy ace that wasn't present.
4) I saw that in samsungfirmwares site there are some 4.1.2 kernels, but they are for Rusia. I'm from Chile. So can I flash the russian kernel? will I loose my signal, 3G or something? Do you recommend upgrade to JB? with stock russian or a custom rom?
5) Do you recommend a custom kernel? which one? This looks nice
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you can help me with those questions (numering your answers just like i did with my questions), I just want to enjoy a lot my new phone. :good:

Since you say that you are used to xda, i don't see any reasonable explanation for the creation of this thread!
Read the forums. All answers are in the stickies..

I read the forums, but I'm still confused, for example, for rooting, in the thread that I linked in 1) there isn't the firmware that came with my phone, so I went to here, there isn't neither, then I read this post, but to do that I need dowload my phone's firmware, but the one that came with my phone there isn't in samsungfirmares web page, so I suppose I can flash anyone for Chile (my country), there are 2, but idk if they will work, so, if I'm going to take that risk I need to make a backup first, but idk what recovery I should use.
I have a mental bootloop

I bought my phone in January.
Then became member of xda in january.
Flashed russian jb all releases as they released in February.
Rooted my phone in same month.
Started using kernels in same month.
Started tweaking in same month.
And now i am really happy with my phone's performance.
As i was new to android and xda i have done all this because i was not worried about my warranty.
In short, go ahead don't think so much.

Yes, then being rooted you can plan to customise without bricking your phone :good:

[Q] If update official update from different country will baseband change?

Hello guys, i will explain the story in order, sorry for my bad Grammar.
first i have the official GTI9070 but i forgot the baseband (GB)
then i accept software update that appear in notification bar, my baseband become I9070DXLK2 (GB)
and i see there's CM11 out that can make kit kat running in I9070.
but it requires root to install CMW / TWRP..
so hard to find root zip for DXLK2, and then i found one full ROM rooted then flash it with odin.
my baseband still I9070 (GB) but rooted (binary counter++)
after that i flash TWRP with odin too.
then i try flashing CM11 with TWRP.
it success, but no mobile network.
i search at this forum and someone say "no mobile network happen because flashing from GB (2.3.x) directly to KK (4.4.x)"
he said first update from GB to official samsung JB.
the problem, there's no official samsung JB update for my country/region (DXLK2)
my question, if i flash the official samsung JB update from other region.. let say it italy.. will my baseband change?
if it changed, what's the problem and whats the negative impact? what should i do better?
thx in advance.
PS: my device is Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 (Indonesian)

You don't have any negative impact if you flash any stock JB firmware, only with your warranty if you still have one.
Please, follow this guide from point A (JELLYBEANIZATION): [GUIDE] From stock GB to Custom JB (Noob-friendly)
After you updgraded to JB, ask/read some tutorials linked here: [{INDEX of GUIDES/TUTORIALS}] Galaxy S Advance [GT-I9070].
Be sure when you proceed to do something OR ASK before, NOT AFTER you doing something wrong.

Or maybe removed. Try on samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com
In Canada, have XXLK2 (Africa?). Want JB, use UK version?
I bought my unlocked I9070 almost 2 years ago and am thinking about upgrading to Android 4.1.2 (JB).
On samsung-updates there appear to be lots of JB versions for different regions.
Can I just select the one for Britain (XXLQE)? Is there anything I need to check re: compatibility?

Yes you can flash any stock firmware for I9070. Be sure you don't flash firmware for I9070P.
Powered by CM11 M11 snapshot
Flashing worked...once I found a .zip file

I had a lot of trouble trying to get the samsung-updates.com download to work (used the free one, which either didn't start most of the time or died during download). Eventually, I took the filename (for Britain) and Googled it, and found a download site that let me download it (required 3 hours).
Armed with the .zip file and ODLIN, it worked like a charm. All my installed apps and data survived, which surprised me. I thought this would be a vanilla install.

First of all, you shouldn't be posting here, because this area is for development only. Thats 'why nobody replies.
Anyway, here you actually cannot find any further rom for note 4 n910l. On the other side, the reason why you phone cannot boot with sphinx rom is that it is very old and very likely its base is an old firmware, so your bootloader and modem could be not compatible with that old kitkat base and, in order for the rom to boot, you should probably downgrade both. But you'd better avoid it, unless you've got some basic skills.
I suggest you should go back to the stock rom, wich is surely more recent than that old cistom rom, and simply root it and, please, to post somewhere else, next time.
