How to recover photos, messages from i9070 Galaxy S Advance? - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

dear all,
I need to extract photos, contacts, messages from i9070. The screen is locked and i forgot the password as didn't use the phone for a long time. Is there any way to get the data especially pics because its my baby's first month pics.
I read the other thread by micks_address but couldn't download the files from this link hs//d-h.st/hXZ
I would appreciate if @micks_address @shut_down @AntaresOne or anyone could help me. Thanks

Hello @power_master, I'm sorry for the late answer. Did you make any progress on this?

Hi AntaresOne, thank you for the reply. No progress so far. Placed the phone safely in a drawer

Great! So, first of all, did you already make any system modification like root or custom kernel with TWRP recovery?

Do you mean on this phone? I think the phone is not rooted, and actually haven't performed root for a long time on any phone. But I can follow the instructions its not a problem.
I tried to follow the other thread but the uploaded files for this phone model have gone now since that was an old thread.

How to simply install a custom ROM ?

Hi all,
I used to have an HTC Desire.
With that device, I was able to simply install third party ROMs in just one click with an app called ROM Manager.
It seems that this is impossible with my Samsung Galaxy S, because I have a "3e" recovery preventing 3rd party ROMs from flashing correctly.
Is there any way I could simply go back to a "2e" recovery in order to flash any ROM I'd like without having to follow a complicated tutorial that would take hours to go through ?
Looking forward to all of your answers,
Thanks !
Here.
Just a fast flash with ODIN and you are ready for customROMs.

Retrieve Deleted Apps

After I rooted the phone I deleted some blotware. Now I am having problems with the phone freezing. Is there a way to recover the delete apps?
You can always restore your backup. Unless you didn't create a backup before you went and deleted everything. That's a noob thing not to do.
Your best bet is to follow the "return to stock" tutorial. It's in the sticky threads.
Or wait for the next update to roll out.

Help for Root Z1 .136

Hi!
I bought the Z1, and I do not regret it. Some bug screen, and other small stuff but good
I just talk to you because I am a beginner in android and I do not know what to do for my rooter device. So, I have already been able to untap the overlay of my operator. Now I am. 136 non-root and I realize that many things are accessible via root.
I would like, if you have time, kindness and patience, give me a little tutorial to be root in .136. While I've seen some stuff about that, but there was loss :/ IMEI and since jesuis beginner to android I'm afraid to do something stupid ...
So a little tutorial step by step, with a link to dwnld each time would be great!
I just ask for help ^ ^
Ps: sorry for my broken English.
Kisses! : D

Just make sure that you follow all of the steps. If anything goes wrong you can revive the phone by flashing an Ftf of the firmware.

There is software called Helium that does exactly what you are looking for:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup
I have not used it so make sure that it works for you before you begin the rooting process. Good luck

Thanks. Will try it out now and let you know.
Just need to backup important stuff so i can easily restore after rooting. I actually wanna unlock bl and install beanstalk . Twas the best rom i used on my xperia pro b4 it got stolen :crying:
Update:
I used Helium to backup my data and managed to restore everything back to rooted 4.3. It wouldn't restore my messaging and user dictionary data to beanstalk though (4.4) so went back to stock 4.3 with root. Thanks again for the help
Ps. I found this just now, it may help someone in future: www titaniumtrack com/kb/titanium-backup-kb/titanium-backup-howtos.html

Lost TWRP & CWM

Hey, first time poster, kind of familar with rooting and installing roms but I've never had a problem like this on my xperia z3 compact...
I can't get into TWRP recovery mode, I had it working but I installed a custom ROM and I lost it! My root is still good and I have my bootloader installed...
What steps do I do? I don't want to redo all the steps I did in this thread "http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/how-to-root-backup-drm-keys-t3013343"
It's probably a simple fix I hope.
Thanks if you can help.
