Mclaren OP6T Port Fastboot Rom OOS 9.09_V1 - OnePlus 6T ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Dev

Hey guys here is a FULL, 100% port of the Mclaren OnePlus 6T oxygen OS rom. I have discovered that the various different fingerprint animations must be hardware related. I have poured over the first dump i received for 3 days and as far as I can tell there is nothing in the dump related to fingerprint animations. I personally sought this out for myself first. Thanks to @MishaalRahman for help in procuring the initial dump and special thanks to @mac208x for running the script and doing the full dump. This is every single thing from the mclaren and it flashes perfectly fine to our regular op6t( international and tmobile-thats what mine is). I took the entire firmware and using parts of @Darknightmare 's script and @mauronofrio 's fastboot rom flasher tool, put this together. I am not going to recommend a dirty flash but if someone would to be a guinea pig and try it, by all means go for it. I recommend a full wipe. This will prompt you just like any other fastboot install to wipe.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
Make sure u have fastboot installed and working
Download the rom (v3)
V3:consists of only images and the install script. Extract in the folder/directory where u have fastboot installed/unzipped. Then double click the script.bat i provided.
V3:

Mac instructions here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...port-fastboot-rom-oos-9-t3880768/post78496566
Thanks @Darknightmare
Thanks @ all of you
DO NOT try to flash in twrp, this is an archived file, meaning just a regular old zipped up folder.
NEXT, you unzip it to a working directory where u have fastboot installed
Reboot phone to fastboot(copy anything beforehand to external source)
Double-click flash-all-partitions-fastboot
Let it run and it will flash every img to both partitions
Don't interrupt the process, let it finish, then it will say, "press any key to continue. " then from your device press the power button to start the reboot process.
First boot is fairly quick and takes only a few short minutes, you will be greeted by the Mclaren boot logo, and after setup, you are now on oxygen OS 9.09. Go ahead and root and install twrp if you so desire.
Hope everyone enjoys, and thanks to everyone who helped. & Hit the thanks button, that lets us know our work is appreciated.
***Updated 12-23***
Starting with v3, this will flash on your phone with McLaren assets.everything is there, but not working is McLaren fingerprint animation(WIP), theme(do it yourself, adding hexidecimal code later, its in xda), and live wallpapers (theyre present, not active) also working on. There is a specific hardware check that the assets for McLaren in op1 are calling, and some of us are trying to figure out how to add mcl001 as product id. Then the rest is easy. So, hopefully with v4 we will have it fixed. Other than that, everything is a full port. Which those features are intact, just not active due to hardware check.
**Update***
With every new version of oxygen os, users can maintain McLaren features by installing whatever the latest update is, installing via local upgrade, and then reboot to bootloader and flash the op1.img. reboot. Now u are updated with McLaren features still intact. U won't have to renable the fingerprint commands either.
No known bugs, and screenshots later..
If u wanna buy me an delicious winter edition plum twist redbull...paypal.me/fullofhell <÷÷ yup it is connected to me.

Thats Great!
Gonna test this on weekend.
any knowledge on performance of the McLaren ROM?
Not sure why would it be more optimized. If there are some fixes or performance improvements, won't OP push those in regular updates?
Or it is just the aesthetics that McLaren ROM provides?

I am pretty sure this is just a stable update we have yet to receive for the standard 6t. It does seem snappier at times but it is still too soon to tell. Maybe it will be a couple updates ahead.. time will tell, thanks for downloading ?

So does this mean when a new update comes to McLaren edition I get it too??

[BASE][UPDATED] H811 Deodexed Base Installer v2 10.10.2015

TMobile G4-H811
Edit: The v2 will be replacing the original version as a completely unmodified Stock version. Sorry about the confusion. Pay no attention to the screenshot. This one is completely stock with the stock icons and status bar and all the LG stuff.
Okay So I am not going to make a fancy op. This will mostly be for developers and people who want a deodexed base. This is a deodexed system of app, priv-app, framework and libs. It does boot. SuperSU is included in the system apps, but as this is just raw files, it will not root your system. This is designed to be flashed over a current 10n installation and it WILL NOT work for other software versions. If you want to maintain a full rom, fine, I dont care. If you want to make it easy you are more than welcome to use this. This is NOT debloated, so do it on your own. I am just trying to make it easy for everyone. Seems everyone has hit a brick wall with this phone, and my rom is going to take a while before I release it, So I thought I would spark some creativity and give you guys a jump start :good:
I will not be answering many questions about this. Use it at your own risk. Flash in TWRP recovery. Flashfire is NOT RECOMMENDED. If you look at the updater script you will see why. TWRP ONLY
First Boot will take a while. I tested this at least 10 times on my own phone and it seems to want to skip the boot animation so dont freak out. Give it a good 10 minuted before attempting anything drastic like a battery pull.
I only have 2 requests to use this. One of them is a must. The second one is a preference.
If you use this: Give proper credits in the OP and DO NOT ASK OR PM ME. Just do it!:good::highfive:
The Second one: Please dont use this to make zip roms of random copy and paste xposed roms. You can do that with an Odexed image. Seriously, I dont want to see this end up like a Samsung forum

If your current 10n installation is already rooted. This will not affect that. Thats why i included the app because most people are already rooted. Since this is basically a deodexed framework and app pack no data wipe is needed and none of your settings will be changed. Simply flash in TWRP.
If you are not already rooted simply flash a rooted image prior to this or flash the su zip from chainfire.

You're welcome bud.
I was hoping that releasing this and not just sitting on it would actually spark a little bit of development. I have a long way to go before mine is ready for release, however this might give some devs a break as I know that a bunch have run into issues deodexing and even making a flashable system unless its a direct copy of their image.
Nice AOSP icons and mods. I like it! Can't wait for your rom. Thanks again.

Flashing this causes a bootloop because you're force-deleting dalvik-cache in your updater-script. The phone will recompile the APKs on its own on first boot, so that line is unnecessary.
Also, can we have a completely unmodified version? I appreciate the SystemUI modifications, but I like my clock on the right, my navbar bigger, and the other LG stuff stock. Thank you!

It is unmodified, unless somehow I got the wrong UI in the zip which I dont think that I did. And it doesn't cause a bootloop. I force clear dalvik because as I seem to be the only one who has been able to get a deodexed system going on ANY of the G4's, I found that it was necessary to delete recursively because I found there was some left overs if you let the system do it for you. You are free to experiment with it though.
I installed this and booted fine. I had WiFi calling of course. I then installed Xposed 74 and I booted fine and still had WiFi calling. I made a call to test WiFi calling and it works.
I loaded a few modules in Xposed and bootlooped once I enabled them. Turned out that not Xinstaller but Network Speed Indicator was the culprit. I removed Network Speed Indicator module and I'm fine. I tested this with Xposed 74 and then 75.
This ROM gives me WiFi calling with Xposed version 74 and version 75. I go on and off my WiFi network and WiFi calling gets enabled while I'm on my network as it should. I've made several calls with Xposed 74 and 75 and WiFi calling works fine.
I am now using Xposed 75 and I have a few modules enabled. This rom works great!
I have WiFi calling, modules enabled in Xposed 75, a cool AOSP look and I'm happy. I am using this as my daily driver now.

Hmm, maybe there's something wrong with my phone, then. Clearing dalvik even from TWRP made it bootloop. I'll investigate, thanks for the info.
As for the SystemUI modifications, after I flashed the ZIP, suddenly my clock was in the center of the status bar, my Quick Settings toggles started looking very AOSP, same for the On/Off switch toggles in the Settings app, overall the phone started looking AOSPified in random places... could you check if the SystemUI in the ZIP is the correct one? I appreciate it and thank you for posting this!

When you say that you are bootlooping... Explain further please. Were you able to get a log? Was it on the boot animation? The white TMobile screen NOT the LG splash screen.
If it is sitting on the LG screen you should be fine. As I said in the op this seems to want to skip the TMobile boot animation for some reason. I am still trying to figure that one out. It will appear to have stalled on the LG splash screen, but its okay.
Also like I said in the OP... There is NO need to wipe ANYTHING with this. All you need to do is flash it over the top of a current working 10n rom. That is all. It shouldnt bootloop. You dont need to do anything else. Just flash.
LOL
"It started looking very AOSPified in random places."
Yeah... I will look at it. I may have inadvertently got the wrong UI in there. Sorry buddy. My system is a mess right now.

[ROM][UNSTABLE][5.1.1] MIUI9 testing on Osprey

You want MIUI 9? There are still no fancy threads for MIUI 9 on osprey. I tried to port it. Now people should test it!
Installing is usual - MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR OLD ROM, Wipe, Install the new zip. GApps are included Out-of-the-Box.
After installing:
1. Tell if it boots
If it doesn't: say what SKU is your phone (for example mine is XT1441)
2. Tell us what works and what doesn't
3. If at least calling works and Wi-Fi works, you can try using it as a daily driver. Tell us how battery goes.
Do all that in the "Reviews" tab on the top of this thread.
I'm going to try it out, too. And I'm going to tell you what happened.
Download the ROM through the "Downloads" tab.

* We have some progress - the kernel now works and the phone starts booting. It hangs on the boot animation. Please send logcats. I will look through mine, too.
2017.10.28 - Test3 (Marshmallow):
* Switched base to Marshmallow
* Also not booting because of the wrong architecture.
2017.10.26 - Test2 (Lollipop):

GApps are included out of the box, so don't worry about that. Again, don't plan to use this as a daily driver. Just test it and tell if it works.

Don't worry! It won't hard brick it. You will just need to reflash your ROM with something stable, like Lineage OS, for example.
Ok then, I'll flash it ASAP
It will be nice if there is marshmallow or Nougat.

I'm sorry. In MIUI it doesn't matter that much what Android version are you running. And I don't think Lollipop is obsolete. I just chose it because Redmi 2 runs our chipset and it's the easiest device to port from.

Using Marshmallow port from Redmi 3S. Edited kernel. Try it out and see if it boots. There must be quite some bugs. But I want to see if it boots.
Go ahead and try it out if you have already downloaded another stable ROM like Lineage to flash after you try this one.

Using Marshmallow port from Redmi 3S. Edited kernel. Try it out and see if it boots. There must be quite some bugs. But I want to see if it boots.
Go ahead and try it out if you have already downloaded another stable ROM like Lineage to flash after you try this one.

[ROM][A2017X][B04 8.0.0][stock] SL!M8

A2017X_O_B04_SL!M8
Just for fun....no more no less...
For our dedicated stock users
For those who weren't able to install or obtain the A2017G-O-B04 OTA update, I made a SL!M8 rom (not an AROMA because atm I don't have much time ) that can boot on a working stock Oreo rom.
This version is tested on stock B02 as on my SL!M7 (based on B03). So there should be no problem at all
I hope you'll ENJOY !
Modifications :
* full system r/w
* removed some unwanted apps and the ability to remove more when booted into the rom with a root explorer
* safetynet pass cts will pass when flashing magisk 19.3
* youtube vanced
* adaway 4.2.6
* full working Dolby Atmos
* wifi working...and ofc all the rest
* fastboot working
*.....
Installation : NOTE : for those having trouble installing, flash the twrp 3.2.10 with the universal bootstack (don't forget the modem)
1. unlocked, twrp3218 (non-treble) installed (or compatible one for oreo...)
1.a boot into twrp, format data/factory reset, reboot twrp, wipe system
2. flash A2017GV1.3.0B04_BootStack ( flash your modem type again as this has the latest G-version one )
3. flash A2017X_O_B04_SL!M8
4. flash Magisk 19.3
5. wipe dalvik/cache and boot
6. setup phone
7. you should now have a fully working SL!M8 :cyclops:

I'm currently running the chinese B23 with TWRP, is it possible to flash this over? Or should I flash other rom first?
Also, a bit offtopic suggestion: You should update your camera2api enabler ZIP, because it somehow changes the build name to A2017GV1.3.0B02 on other roms (this happened to me on european B03 and chinese B23 and should also happen on this new B04)

You can try since it is a stock Oreo rom. So follow instructions furtheron.
Ah yes, you're referring to this one : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536993784
Yeah, it's all in the build.prop...i'll make another one if you want
Thanks so much @raystef66 ! A lot of us have been waiting for this! Hopefully I have better luck flashing this, as B03 Sl!m was giving me encryption issues upon rebooting after flashing.

Yes, that's the one. I can live with it as long it doesn't affect the ROM usage (I don't think it does though) but it's up to you.
About the new SL!M8, I'll see if I can flash it tomorrow and give feedback
Thanks for your awesome work.
Q: i installed b03 and cant find double tap to wake anymore. Is the Feature gone since Oreo? I wonder if the bugs im having will be gone with this update (gboard constantly crashes when opening settings so i cant change/add languages, SMS bug / can send but not receive, Turn off screen is not installed even tho i choose it in aroma Installer)
Hi, raystef66. Thank you so much for your contribution! I stayed on "ancient" slim B10 (Nougat) until now for Daydream support. Now I upgraded and it works fantastic.

You can flash it when on SLIM7 - I tested it myself.
So backup your stuff, factory reset, reboot twrp, wipe system, flash B04 bootstack, SL!M8 and magisk19.3
You can try a dirty flash but that's up to you to test. I always prefer clean

if any other try the diety flash over his b03 slim7 then please let me/us know, if it's work.

I built my own kernel from source to remove zte selinux changes that block magisk. I don't think locking the bootloader is necessary. If someone is already on a stock or stock-like Oreo build, without a vendor partition, they only have to flash system and boot.img. This can be done from fastboot.

I had a complete crash on b03 this morning. Phone shut down out of nowhere and wouldn't boot anymore. I then saw this as an opportunity to test b04. So far most bugs (Gboard crashing, sms bug) are gone. I just can't find the D2W setting. Where is it?

that was it. I really didn't think of this. :good:
on a side note: i use HELIX Engine. [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamhelix.helixengine]
it used to work fine on 7.1.1.
Now i'm getting this (see 1st attachment),
and i still get this shown every time i reboot. can i get rid of it somehow? it's annoying as it can't be sped up and feels way longer than 5 seconds... (see 2nd attachment)

[MOD] 70-72Hz Display Mod for OnePlus6

70-72Hz Mod for OnePlus 6!
So here it is guys! Our own Display OC mod! Ever since Mi9 got one I really wanted to make one for OP6 too and after many sleepless nights and compiling various things, here it is! Let's talk about couple of things, is it safe? Mi9 users and K20 Pro users have a similar mod and they reported no screen damage so far. I will be testing this mod 24/7 and report how it affects my screen. I also used lower values just because 75Hz seemed bit unstable so this mod is pretty safe I'd say. 70Hz runs really.. well. Smoothly! Can You notice the difference? Yes! Shocking how much difference there is in 10Hz. Battery life? Probably no impact at all since the OC is pretty small.
Can I flash it on 6T, santoni, vince, my new mt6580 phone?? No! Even though it won't brick Your phone, it simply won't work.
Compatibility? Most likely all Pie roms, maybe even without root.
How to Install:
Windows Users:
Extract the zip somewhere.
Reboot to fastboot and plug Your phone in.
Double tap on 70hz_recommended_flasher_windows.bat (Don't run it as admin)
Wait till it finishes flashing.
Reboot and enjoy!
Check screenshots in attached images!

It modifies dtbo partition. So custom roms most likely won't ever touch this partition. Stock OTAs will though.

If Your TWRP supports dtbo flashing then sure. But if it doesn't then fastboot is the only option I guess.
I feel like I'm gonna get a speeding ticket on my way back home after I finish doing groceries. I need to flash this ASAP. ?

It would be cool to have Kirisakura kernel built in and 32 bits apps support and face id too!
I got an unlocked pixel 7 pro just for the sake of custom Roms. I like having more freedom. That's all. Not being tied to just stock.

It's not a hardware limitation, it's purely software. Google stripped the 32-bit libraries from the ROM.
BTW, there's a thread for this ROM over in the Pixel 7 Pro section:
SparkOS 13.2 | Android 13 | [UNOFFICIAL] - [11/29/2022]
SparkOS is an AOSP based ROM, packed with many features without sacrificing stability and performance. In short a fully functional operating system as stable and customizable as it should be. /* Your warranty is now void. * * I am not...

Thanks for the update. I no longer have the cloudripper problem just a boot loop problem. Starts the booting process (the Spark animation starts) then it just goes black and reboots. I tried changing the active slots but that did not work. This is a brand new Pixel 7 phone. There are no issues loading google's stock rom. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
