I'm thinking of buying a xiaomi mi max 2 someone is selling online. How would I know its a global or chinese rom? In case its a chinese rom is it possible to flash a global rmo on it for US english?
AFAIK, you can see that in about phone, looking MIUI version.
u can crossflash global and chinese roms without problem, both stable and developer versions.

I have heard that lot of users got the November update.. it is upgraded to 8.2.0.151..
However, I have still not got the update? Any light on this one..

There is, for AL and TL models of Honor Play.
141 update that I got yesterday
I got 141 and not 151 yesterday for my device..
So, basically there are two versions for Honor play.. one is where the latest update is 8.2.0.141 and one that I have currently 8.2.0.150..
As per users on Honor official forum,
One is made in China version and other is made in india version B141 Is Indian version B150 is made in China version You can see in system >certificate logos made in india or made in China
End of the story.
Got the 151 update today..

I was hoping that the update will be quick with Huawei devices like Nokia but it seem it is slow too.
My phone is still struck at 131 version.
Not sure when I will see the Pie version.
Am in Pakistan. I think it is middleeast version that I have.

You have the global version, but we're already at 133
so why the delay in update. and i think india and china have different numbers compare to global one. if not mistaken.
but any idea when the pie version coming.

pie beta is already here for people who signed up for it, and stable pie for indian version will come around 1st week of February so maybe around then the the global version will also get stable

because I received 10.2.12 around 2 weeks ago via OTA which is global stable(my not mod anything only developer option on).
So Why they just released official 10.2.11 yesterday? This is weird for me.
Can anyone explain me about this please?

Probably 10.2.12.0 is not public (for all) but a closed beta Stable for a group of people

Latest EEA is 10.2.28.0, latest Global Stable is 10.2.13.0.
You will find easily both on internet
