[Q] Slow Motion camera mode on Jelly Bean?

Is there a slow motion mode in the camera app in any of the JB roms, leaked official/custom? Is there any possibility that it will be present in the final version? Coming from a (now defunct) Dell Streak 5, I was pretty much determined to get the Note 1, because the low price nowadays and JB update (plus the added note 2 features) offset the Note 2's hardware advantages as far as I was concerned, but after recently seeing some slow motion videos taken with the Note 2, I just have to have that option.
Bump? Nobody opened the camera on the leaked JB ROMs to see if there's a slow motion mode?
i checked it but i don't see it anywhere in camera settings
Thanks! So the Note 2 it is, then
offcourse... loads of new features... but the sad part, galaxy s4 will launch with even more features :banghead:

Can anyone port the S6edge+/Note 5 camera app?

Hi!
I have noticed that the Note 5 and S6edge+ has the same camera sensor as our beloved s6, but we lack a few options that the bigger devices have, like RAW file selection instead of JPEG and also the shutter speed control.
Can anyone port this to our Galaxy S6?
Should not be that hard?
Yes eagerly waiting for s6+/n5 can app port..???
I'm not a dev but pretty sure you'll also need additional libs for that. Maybe Edge+/Note5 ported ROMs will work with the camera app.
RAW is supported on 3rd party apps like Camera FV-5 whilst we wait for a port
I couldn't find a decent free pro camera app (one with raw support and all) in the Play Store. Open Camera comes close but still doesn't have all the options. It's a bit disappointing that Samsung has not released an update to the stock camera app while Note 5 and S6 E+ sport more options.

Youtube HDR - Mate 10 Pro

Hi all
Maybe I am wrong, but some time ago I could not see HDR mark on the video in YT,
Now with the latest updated (from 21 May) it seems that new app supports HDR on Mate 10 Pro
HDR is working now on YouTube app.
And I want to mention that I've compared mate 10 pro display with samsung S8 plus and S10 plus playing hdr videos and the result is that Mate 10 pro has the most beautiful display, collors are more realistic, there is a huge difference..... Mate 10 pro display is better than samsung one, the clarity is superiour, collors more realistic and it is an oled pannel too. I can't believe that mate 10 pro display is soo good, I'm a Samsung fan but Mate 10 pro impressed me.

They may have some different displays' settings, you've got it?
So, it's a tnin matter – the real test on the same settings.

As long as he is happy lol. Anyways its mostly subjective.... nobody cares about some HDR video testing. to this date HDR is barely available for normal youtube content nor other apps etc. so who cares? In the end any decent oled screen with decent brightness will do the job.

Displays were set to vivid to all the phones. Mate 10 pro showed more realistic collours. Test it yourself and see if I am right.
My phone is Mate 10 pro bla l09 single sim model.
The other two phones are from some of my friends.
Galaxy s8 plus refreshes at 1080p with hdr, and at 4k with hdr it runs even harder. Galaxy s10 plus works well in both resolutions. Iven the display resolution is higher on samsung phones the clarity and the colour calibration is better in my mate 10 pro, in my opinion.

I just bought a redmi note 12 pro+, but when i record videos at 1080 30/60 fps, the stabilization is terrible, the image is just aweful, i did a video with my old note 9s with same 1080 30/60 fps and the stabilization is perfect, any help pls? is this factory failure? or just software issue related
note 12 pro+:
note 9s:
Looks pretty fine to me. The issue is messed up auto focus (?). Maybe next update from xiaomi will fix it.

no it's not, rather than stabilizing the image it looks like it was adding somekind of vibration where it supposed to stabilize it?
