I suggest you to not to flash this ... Wait for some time to get it more stable ... or , It can cause some unexpected problems with your phone. otherwise , you can always untreblelize your device and flash the stock pie rom through the mi flash tool .. For more information you can check the treble to stock thread for MI A1 ..

[EXPERIMENTAL] [AOSP] Phh-Treble for Tissot [8.0] [PORT]

EDIT:
We have now achieved proper Treble implementation. We no longer need this method of trying to port a GSI to our device. This thread is now absolute. Please refer to newer threads to get Treble support on your Tissot devices.
UPDATE:
This ROM is currently not booting. So use this thread only to provide useful logs.
Interested developers can help me to try to port Treble :

WARNING: You'll most probably loose ALL your data, and might break your phone, because our phone doesn't support Treble officially. Please use with extreme caution, because this hasn't been tested yet!
The goal of this ROM is to provide full Treble-compatible hardware support, and nothing else.
This means that hardware which DON'T have Treble API won't be supported, like Essential's external camera.
No feature will be added. This will ease forward porting to new Android versions, which is the very goal of Project Treble
My hope is that other ROM developers will use this ROM as a basis to construct more advanced ROM.
Devices will be marked as supported, unless known otherwise.

I have tried to port a Treble based rom to our Mi A1 device based on my knowledge of Treble. If this works properly, then we might be able to use almost any Project Treble rom on our device.
How to flash:
- First, you MUST be running on stock Android 8.0 ROM (OPR1.170623.026.7.12.29)
- Obviously, unlock your bootloader
- Download the zip file, & extract it.
- Flash the system.img to the correct active slot [A/B]
- Do a Factory reset
- Reboot

Changelog:
v1: (02/01/2018)
- Initial port based on Phh-Treble v7 (inc. gapps & su).
SuperSU and Magisk screws with SELinux policy. DO NOT USE SuperSU OR Magisk WITH THIS ROM.

I know what Treble is. I tried to port ROM, instead of porting Treble support. But I failed. So now I'll wait for Xiaomi to release kernel source, so that I can try to create a separate vendor image partition, & try to implement HALs, so that we can actually port Treble itself. And yes, Treble support can be ported, for instance Mi5 devs are working on it, & it'll be released soon...

They are actually using another partition as /vendor.
https://github.com/sirmordred/platf...facc#diff-ada958ac3a6662f731884325169992e4R13
Still is not that simple for us. We don't got a spare partition to mark as /vendor.
Anyway, this ROM won't boot and trying to fix it is just a waste of time.
Thanks for sharing tho'.

That guy started using cust as vendor partition. So I was wondering, cannot we destroy A/B thingy, & start using system_b as vendor?

So we can use /cust partition as /vendor and make our device treble compatible? Are there any problems in theory?

In theory, as long as we don't return to stock rom, & if group of devs actually make that possible for a device, there shouldn't be any major problems. But unfortunately Tissot doesn't have any cust partition. So we'll have to look for something else...

My proximity sensor didn't work with this rom. So the screen didn't dim between calls and the autobrightness setting didn't work. Otherwise its a great rom, but becouse of the issues I switched back to Lineage 14.1. Is that a bug or is it just an issue on my part?

Can't boot custom ROM in Huawei P9 Lite
Hi!
First of all sorry if this is not the right place to post this problem!
I'm having a very dissapointing experience trying to install custom roms in the Huawei P9 Lite, after many instalations of different roms I always get stucked in the initial screen with the message "Your device is booting now...." . I've tried everything and I've followed all the instructions:
- bootloader unlocked
- device rooted
- twrp from meticulus
- swipe data, system, cache , davlink before installation
- installed the gapps
Everything seems to work perfectly, however it is impossible to boot in the operating system . I have a vns-l31 that originally was L31c900B130 and thenI changed to L31C432B162.
Please I need some help, I don't know what else can i do!
thanks!!!
what do i type here
nnnnnnnnn
Is this ROM still updated and supported?
ViperOS itself is discontinued. This specific Viper rom also seems to be abandoned.
Awesome Job on this ROM. I have it working on my Honor 6X (BLN-L24) which is also an hi6250 variant, and its the best one out there that I've tried for the 6x. And to think I had to come to the p9 lite forums for better variety! Anyway, thanks for the good work here to the dev team!

Happy new year to all you peoples here !!!
Dude B162 is related to Marshmallow (android 6.0 / Emui 4) firmware
and you cannot flash a rom based on Android 7.0 / Emui 5...
So find a way to upgrade to android 7.0 first, then you can flash
custom roms like this based on emui 5.
I hope I have explained the dynamics well...
P.S.: @Dil3mm4, sorry for the spam..
Does it work on the L31?
I'm looking for a ROM that work on the Huawei P9 Lite (VNS-L31). Even though it says "ROM for the Huawei P8lite/P8 Lite", some replies contains "Sent from my HUAWEI P9 lite using Tapatalk ". So does it work on the VNS-L31?

Ah. As GSI images work in another way, you will have to wait until TWRP comes for your device.
Or if your rom is already rooted you could install Magisk directly from the Rom
If you want to restore Stock you should download Ereocovery from here: https://mega.nz/#!6eplUQAB!K4hfh2s-b_sSVSJ_Xxg65sywdpJHNRKtzs2ZMRr2bVk
Flash it from Fastboot.
After that get the stock rom for your device( An update.zip that should contain an update.app)
Something like this: http://huawei-firmware.com/rom/huawei-y6-2018/atu-l21/19931
And just do what it says here
Good luck

Care to advise how to restore it to stock rom?
Can't find any of its stock firmware on the web.
Thanks.

I will upload a new build later which includes the gapps
Best regards ?
That will be nice. Hopefully with root optional.
By the way, the backlight of my phone ATU-L22 seems dimmer after flashing the LOS15.0.
Not sure it's just my phone or the rom.
However appreciate the effort in making the rom!

You do know that creating a new forum isn't all that easy, right?
Also even if a new forum is made it'll be a subforum in our main fourms.
Also it clearly says (2018) in the title.

Don't be mad, its not my fool you create thread in Y6 2015 forum. Without scl-l01 support rom.
It's your fault and problem not mine.
Almost all custom roms available here have support multiple Y6 version of this phone.
You are not God, and not only one Active developer here. It's big community, with many Y6 available version of this phone.
That's why i just ask.
Not like my comments? Fine, but don't be rude against other people how just ask.
That's all from me.

I haven't got a perfect GAppe package yet.
Currently I'm using this one: https://t.me/c/1120152719/245769 (can't mirror it right now, it's on telegram, to open it join t.me/xiaomimi6arsenal and tap on discussion). It doesn't offer to restore your apps and device settings and the apps are outdated (will be updated from Google play though). Apart from this I'm fine with them for now.

Probably not. I have updated my phone to lineageos 17 today and will work on this for now.
Ohh yeah been waiting for that. Though the new android features don't spark any excitement.
Could you provide screenshot on each sections? Thank you.
Hey arian gapps not working
as far as I can identify, there is no problem right now good work
Bluetooth Audio has been fixed!
Download: lineage-17.0-20190909-UNOFFICIAL-sagit.zip
Magisk support is also fixed, you can flash the latest canary build now.
These GApps by wight554 are working pretty good for me: BiTGApps-10-Wight554.zip
Note that backuptool doesn't work so you have to reflash them after every update.

Look at the second message.
Great work. Feedback: stock SMS app does not give any notifications; clock app forces close when ringing at set time. Thank you again.
I flashed Gapps but it does not work. So I back to Xiaomi EU Rom untill stable gapps.

Well the gapps just work. You should use the one from post #2. It just includes the playstore and needed dependencies.
