Since I got the MI9 all my WhatsApp Video Call conversational partner are complaining on a strange squaking noise in the background.
Anybody has the same issue or any recommendations?

I have the same issue. During WhatsApp video call there is a squeaking noise on my redmi note 8 pro. Any help would be appreciated.

I've recently sent a phone in due to pink tint camera and because it also had this problem where if I recorded a video there would be a little "shh" static sound in intervals in the video audio.
I got a replacement it didn't have this problem when I first got it but recently when I recorded a silent video I could hear the "shh" static sound again. Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem?

Recently I get my Huawei P9, and it is a great phone, but yesterday find out that autofocus make a weird noise in WhatsApp, i dont know if is normal or a hardware failure. Any ideas?

Hi all, newbie here. myself and a friend with he same phone are hearing some major recording issues when you using the video or facebook live option to record video and sound in a nightclub. it is virtually un playable. other brands seem to record in loud clubs with no issue. but with the P20 there seems to be an issue.
i cant find any simple lower volume option.
can anyone kindly advise ?
The camera won't pop up when sitting in a low light environment. Example: I get a WhatsApp video call in my room during the day where the environment light is lower. I can receive the call but the camera won't pop out until I move the phone towards some brighter light. This also occurs if I switch the camera from back to front between the video calls. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Never faced such problem.
Try to clear app data of camera and reset whatsapp and try. Could be problem with whatsapp
Anyone managed to find a fix for the microphone issue when in video call? When in video call, other side doesnt hear me very well, they describe it as like I am in a tunnel or under water..
I have the Global version, no 12.5 update yet available.
Does 12.5 fix this?
Does flashing other ROM fixes the issue?
I have even returned 1 unit and exchanged nor another RN10 Pro but same problem with call quality

Is this issue there when taking video or recording voice? I seem to have very low level voice recording issue.
someone mentioned AOD always on display interferes try disabling it
