Make sure the developer options OEM unlock is enable
Because MiFavor 5 has to be upgraded on the 7.1.1B13 version,So we need to go back to the official android6.0 first.
Flash ROM:
Lets do it 7 steps:
1, flash 1-A2017_M_HT.zip (Back to MM6.0 B11)
2, 2-OTA to 6.0B13 and stop doing anymore OTA update
3, flash 3-7.1B09-full-update.zip(upgrade to 7.11B09)
4, flash 4-7.1B10.zip(upgrade to 7.11B10)
5, 5-OTA TO 7.1B11 and stop doing anymore OTA update
6, flash 6-B13.zip(upgrade to 7.11B13)
7, flash 7-MiFavor5.zip
Enable Google services：
1, open Mi-Assistant
2,APP manager
3,APP freezing
4,cancel "google play services"
5，install View attachment 4214487
6，than open it and press "GO"
than enjoy your MiFavor5!

i installed mifavor 5.0 to my U device but couldn't to work google services.

I think it's the same, and it has a fix for google services

Hi @gotospeed. I have the exact same version of A7 and it is completely stock with B16 7.1.1 . Can I get directly to mifavor 5? Like manually updating from sd card?

I've tried to flash it from B16 but I failed, so I think you MUST go back to android 6.0.1 and then to 7.1.1B13

1)Flash rom
2)flash No verity script
3) All done without errors in recovery
No Boot image
kernel splash looping
tried with both Nougat as well as oreo stock roms

IDK if you can try but
Unpack the ROM zip and remove SuperSU.zip, located in rootzip folder and use this no-verify-opt-encrypt

Yes, it loops on splash screen. I believe SuperSU is causing it according to my experience

i tried it too.. just bootlooping and i let it like 10 minutes and nothing.. i will try removing supersu.zip

Hmm, probably old camera drivers causes that. Can you or anyone provide me tombstones(Located in /data/). Use TWRP File Manager for that

Theres no need to flash userdata. They are not used in Xiaomi.EU builds. Ive booted it on my RN4 just fine. I suspect old camera drivers but i want tombstones

No, when you flash my ROM and wait for 2 minutes on bootanimation, in the place it crashes and loops, itll generate a tombstone.
I suspect the issue to say that camera isnt found while camera service has started.

Latest miui portings failed because of the a/b partition scheme. I suppose you considered that while doing the porting.
Can you give a brief explanation how did you do the porting for an a/b partition scheme device?

Wow! Waiting for the camera to work! Then I'm settled.

Works pretty good so far. Having no camera is a bummer though. I'll probably flash back to miui till the camera is incorporated. Only bug I found so far is the notification LED flashes wildly during a notification.

was on GSI rom, flashed this via TWRP and stuck on bootscreen, the big G.
Flashed back to stock MIUI with the XiaoMiFlash tool, then flashed TWRP, and tried to install via TWRP again.
Stuck on bootscreen again.
Any advice?

Can it port Mi A2 camera?
RM5's PE rom has A2 port as Default, Which is much better than AOSP based camera App.

In the end we have the official Pixel Experience I wonder one thing - proximity sensor doesn't work on any Pie rom, but work excellent on unofficial Pixel Experience GSI 9.0

For me it booted back to TWRP, following the instructions

Working fine Here. Modded gcam working great (by BSG)
2 Questions.
-possibility to use the second rear Cam?
-is IT possible with magisk to Pass safetynet/Android pay Check? (EDIT: installed magisk and was able to complete google pay setup)

Works great. Installed per instructions given, did a factory reset at first reboot because it took ages at the Google logo with the grey bar running.
I use BSG Mod camera also.

Flash the updated boot.img in boot partition with TWRP and reboot

Need to flash magisk again?

Great to see this new rom As this rom is AOSP based, is it safe to switch between a pure AOSP rom and this one without wiping the data?

I've having pretty week cell signal on this ROM. I followed the instructions listed above and I'm struggling to get LTE. I'm also have issues using Google Two Step verification to log in - the phone won't receive the text. Anyone else?

Proximity sensor is not working with me even after flashing the fix any solution?
