Did you receive Official Froyo OTA?

Did anyone receive official Froyo via OTA yet?
It is supposed to be pushed during the end of this week.
And we are here already.
I'm buying my N1 this week so that'd be great if it came out the same time!
I've quit counting on Google and 2.2. They said it would be released "shortly" weeks ago.
Maybe they are waiting to try and steal some of Apple's thunder next week.
Even so, I have a trip to take and I would like to have Froyo on my device as it's MUCH quicker and more reliable than 2.1(I have 2.2 on my Tmobile Nexus but not my ATT Nexus)
I simply wish Google would just give us the damn OS already. I've been waiting so long it has ceased being fun. Now I just want to load the OS and move on...
They really managed to ruin the fun of a new OS(for me) with all of this hurry up and wait crap.
Don't get me wrong, I love Google and my Nexus, but they've burnt me out waiting on Froyo.
I know this is going to come across as crass, but are you guys 8 years old? You can't wait 2 weeks for an OTA update? You can't manually update in the mean time? How could a company burn you by not releasing an update when YOU want them to? That's like complaining that while living at home, Mommy didn't make the dinner that you wanted that night.
Grow up. It will be here. IO was 2 weeks ago. You must have something better to do with your time than ***** about this.

Although I also hate waiting for updates I would rather have a bug free version. I came from the GSM Hero...I bought in December and was told update to 2.1 would be in Jan 2010, then Feb, then March, still nothing.
Waiting sucks...but its worth it.
Lets cross our fingers and hope Froyo will be out soon!

+1, Its not like eclair is uber slow or sucks. I too believe that it will start releasing during. Wwdc2010 to steal headlines from apple. Also, a bug free version is much more desirable for me as well.

That's the thing though, 2.2 is not that buggy. I have it on my TMobile Nexus One. I'd be thrilled to have the exact same version of 2.2 on my ATT Nexus(without rooting).
I'm hoping they are adding features or something taking this freaking long.
I hope you get 2.1 soon bro, that has to be a rough wait you have endured.

Actually, I was on the forum posting about an issue with my sound. I have 2.2 already, I've had it since the manual update went out. It's fantastic, and I see no reason to get worked up over the OTA.

You're not pissed because you already have what you want. Some of us still don't. You make little sense. You think 2.2 is quote "fantastic" but don't understand why we are worked up for the OTA? Maybe we want that fantastic 2.2!!!!

question about vz and sprint 4.2.2

so since vz has the 4.2.2. and is cdma, would it be save to assume it would be a port to sprint or do we still have to wait until sprint releases?

Even if it cant, Jason Mackenzie of HTC claims the company wants to release 4.3 by the end of September on all variants (not just dev edition) so it wont be too much longer.

So no disrespect but in all the HTC statements I've seen I have only read that they "hope" or "plan" to have it out before the end of September and one critical piece of info was never said.... September of what year...
Sorry but I am still hopeful that the Vzn release will give the devs what they need to at least move the Sprint device forward with updated roms just in case there are "delays"...

Yeah, since the VZW phone drops today, I'm wondering how long (rather, how quick) it will be before the devs get a hold of it and rip out the source! It's days like this that make me wish I had the time and knowledge for coding.

Sprint is skipping 4.4.3 for M7 - Going straight to L

FYI for anyone still wondering.... I just received this reply from HTC's VP of Product Management on Twitter. I asked him when the Sprint M7 will get 4.4.3. Looks like we get to wait for L.
"@TheRhob Hi Robert, we're going to go straight to L release. Thanks."

Thanks for that. I must have missed that post! I know there were still some posts in September suggesting that there was a possibility we were getting 4.4.3 so I didn't think it hurt to clarify once again.

Yeah, I'm sure the mass from the site aren't going to be happy about it. I haven't rooted a phone in a while, just don't have the time to do it anymore. But it sucks, for sure.
Chainfire already has established and released root on L. From what I've seen in the n5 forums.

LG G4 H811 Marshmallow

Any news on when/if the Marshmallow update comes to H811 T-Mobile?
The tmo support site has it listed as "Manufacturer Development", so it means that tmo have probably just received the update or are working on it. Click here if you want to check it out. I remember last year the G3 being "In Development" around March 2015, so I am guessing around then if not sooner.

All I got from that thread was a bunch of users speculating when, why, and who was the cause for the update not being released yet. I saw nothing from any T-Mobile rep giving any info or blaming LG. All the accusations I saw came from users in that thread.
I think some of those users have their facts wrong about the Wi-Fi calling issue, that was the G3 when it first got updated to Lollipop 5.0.1 that was causing a problem for some users, I was one of those users, but T-Mobile never blamed LG.
I'd rather they take time and get the bugs worked out and put out a fully working update rather than put out a half assed update that could and/or would screw our phones.

What are you, talking? Did you see the video?
I also read that Google is giving the update in steps.
Even if you install the update it will not bring the new look until Google is read to do it. When Google wants, you will see the new look.
I m not trolling at all.

We all know it's coming eventually. Google announced it at the beginning of May, it's not news.
You claimed it started rolling out. It hasn't. The video doesn't support a claim that "it started."

I can post it but it is in Greek.
Anyway i suppose its not true based on your last link.
I was excited for a moment this morning when I noticed my phone had received a Android Auto app update. But alas, same UI as before.
