Great, I just flashed the rom and my phone is soft bricked. It just gets to Fastboot over and over again. Am I doing something wrong?

This happens if you wipe system and reboot recovery without flashing another ROM first.

Im on LOS right now. It booted without issues. What do I have to do to boot this ROM?
I mean, do I really have to flash a stock ROM over and over again every single time? what?

You don't need to flash Stock ROM !
Can I ask you which one of stock ROM you have flashed before flashing LOS ? It it's MIUI10 EU 9.8.1, you just need to :
1. Reboot to TWRP
2.Format Data
3.Reboot to TWRP again
4.Copy any ROM you want to flash into your phone
5.wipe cache/dalvik cache/system, then flash ROM
6.If ROM without google play services, then you can flash Gapps. If ROM with google service, skip this step
7.Reboot to system and finish ROM setup

You need to flash an MIUI version coming from LOS since it uses it's own vendor unlike other ROMs.

interesting rom

I think your ROM with problem about wifi or LTE connection when going into initial setup !
No network and it keeps showing circling when setup ROM...

Use MiFlash to reinstall MIUI and then go from there. You should then be able to reinstall TWRP and do whatever you need to. Make sure not to relock your bootloader with MiFlash, there is an option at the bottom.

Did you factory reset before you booted into the rom? And for safetynet you can use the safetypatch magisk module

Yeah installed 9.0.9 through fastboot and did a clean install of evolution

Hey all just wanted to say thank you to the devs of this rom, everything is flawless so far!
Also does this rom play nice with custom kernels like bluspark?
One more question, how are updates handled are they OTA or do we just flash over?

i mean why man why .....evolution X always has the features, feel, style ....that i like ...but ..stability is been realy bad .....in pie too...!!!

The Rom is fast and smooth, I haven't faced any major issues.
My only complaint is that there is no option to lower the vibration intensity.

Sweet. Personally waiting til 10 final firmware because I'm particular like that. I used to be a havoc os kind of guy but I think the PE/EX ROMs are becoming a lot more smooth, and don't feel bloated anymore. With the advent of faster devices, you can do a lot more with software and not have the OS feel bogged down.

can anyone go try changing the gboard theme in settings and try to go back home ....??
i just stuck at settings page untill i reboot !!

Oh

Latest rom clean install stuck on infinite EvolutionX boot logo. Did repeat the data/cache wipe, still doesn't boot. LOS 16 works for me and I remember this rom worked for me a month ago, too.

Same here. I was updating from 21/11/2019 build and it got stuck on EvolutionX boot animation. Tried clean flash, same thing. Flased another ROM, works fine. Clean flashed latest EvolutionX again same thing stuck on boot animation.
Edit: Seems like others have the same problem in the telegram group

Hi. What TWRP are you using? I had that problem with the version "TWRP 3.3.1-0 with Tissot Manager (Giovix92)", but I installed the standard TRWP and so the bootloop is not produced.

Be sure you really did a clean install.
Wipe dalvik, system and data.
In my case, I did that on both slots, A/B, before flashing ROM and recovery.
Flash ROM and recovery on both slots too.
If you're using TWRP with Tissot manager, be sure to uncheck active slot flashing.
Magisk flashing just at the end of all procedure.

You meant for gaming ? Edge detection if yes you can fix that by flashing patch made by booluck (works on all roms)

if it boots to recovery directly after flashing you need to format data ? (internal will be wiped)

Can we record internal audio while screen recording??? and what about the gaming performance??

I updated to the latest RealmeUI. Can i still unlock my bootloader and flash this? Or does this rum on Pie Firmware?

yes you can it got one plus ported screen recorder so yes

What about selinux?
Is there any button configuration like "long press home to screenshot"?

Added rare functions of PE firmware, very satisfied. The only problem is that the long screenshot function is not normal, and it always prompts that scrolling screenshots are not supported, but sometimes it works well, or it stops after scrolling one screen to the end, or scrolling screenshots succeeds, but the lower part is a black area and there is nothing .
I wonder if it can be fixed in the next patch? I have used the PE9.0 firmware made by Orgasmtrron. The long screenshot function in it is great without any problems, but I sent him a message from the site and did not reply to me.

Does this rom support VOOC charging, or charging becomes slower?

Upper Two Edges Outside the Screen
Is there a way to fix the upper two edges? They are a little outside the screen.
I already installed the mentioned screen fix.

Camera SD Card
Is it just me or is the SD Card makeing problems? Some Apps just have read-only access. The Camera App for example. I can select save to SD Card, but the Pictures are not saved at all.
Any Idea?

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Then just download the open GApps and flash them: https://opengapps.org/
The ROM is pretty nice so far. Everything works stable!
I even can Download Netflix etc. from the Store (was not possible on EvolutionX Rom)
Safety Net check works without any other modifications. Just install Magisk.
Very Satisfied so far. Good Job.

Well I have a problem installing the ROM since it won't let me install it. It gives me error 7 "Do you have the correct device and firmware version?" I have read by google that it should delete part of the lines of - Meta-INF "updater script - from what I intuit from what I read that the ROM would be for another device, or so I have understood.
What did I do? I simply deleted - Wipe System, vendor, data, cache and dalvik cache - and that step already gave me a big problem, since all the Android folders with TWRP appeared with very strange names and I couldn't copy and paste anything neither through ADB nor through the graphical interface. But I solved it by formatting data and now the device folders appeared in normal names. But it gave me the error that I showed you at the beginning.
I have from recovery the one you recommend OrangeFox-R10.1_1-Beta-RMX1971 and the operating system had stock, I do not remember which, since I had degraded it because I had problems rooting it. Of course, it was no longer version of Android 10 but the ROM was version of Android 9. Which makes me think that the error may be there.
Oh yeah ! I also had it rooted! in case it's worth something!
So now I am about to update it with a more recent stock rom, for trying something hehe

ROM is already installed! I think it must have been for trying to install it through the SD card or because I downloaded the file wrong !! but it's already starting to carbure
Well the first thing I have done is put the Wifi haha and already speaking more seriously, the first thing I did was check the RAM that the ROM consumes and to my delight I have dropped from 4.5 to 2.2 of RAM a ****ing hell of a lot !!
Another thing that I have loved has been the automation of updates to the ROM, this is very good to not search.
The fingerprint works correctly and for the moment little more, now I am playing with it!

This rom works perfectly for me. It is ver smooth, battery's life is good. Fongersprint goes correctly. Wifi and 4G work well. But camera is very bad.

So here r some bugs i faced from last 2 days
1 sometimes lag
2 messanger and whatsapp video call heating and lagging
3 cant change default ringtone its crashes
4 jio video calling not supported.. tried to many video calls to different jio no. But didn't connect it shows call end.
5 in phone app if u want to delete contact in call history so it take time to delete dat contact
6 change camera app default camera has not modes
7 Equalizer didn't support ( google play music)
8 face unlock not present
9 and main network reception is too weak.
