Question regarding Xzeria XZ1 Compact alarm sounds - Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Questions & Answers

Hi
I recently managed to break my XZ1 Compact, which forced me to upgrade to XZ2 Compact as the XZ1 is no longer on the market here.
Anyway, I've noticed that the alarm/notification sounds from the XZ1 are not available on the XZ2. Actually, the XZ2 sounds are far worse (and fewer?) by my taste.
So the question is: Is there a way to get a hold of older alarm/notification sounds? I've tried different apps like Zedge, but most of them aren't there.
Thanks
SOLVED: I've found them! They were right here on this site all along: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/flashable-android-n-ringtones-alarms-t3408474

[Q] Volume Doesn't Change with Keys?

new Xperia Z owner as of today, and I'm encountering a really, really annoying issue with my xperia z from T-Mobile. For some reason when the screen is off and I try changing the volume, it doesn't do anything. If the screen is on I can change the volume, but it doesn't go into effect until I'm back on the homescreen for some reason. (I've only tested this with Spotify) Can someone tell me if this is an issue I should bring up with Spotify? Or is there a fix for this I'm missing? Or should I just use my 14 day return policy? I really love Sony products (My Vita and Vaio are basically glued to my hip) and I always wanted a really nice Xperia smartphone. Any help is extremely appreciated!
EDIT: I should have mentioned that I'm 100% stock. Assume all of my settings are default and I haven't messed with it. I literally installed the app, and added my gmail account lol

[Q] Battery notification

Firstly, I'm an android newbie. So please be patient with me. I've been a longstanding fan of those fruity handsets. But I've seen the light.
Talking about and more importantly power I seem to have lost the notification on my compact z3. It's the feature that tells how long you have until you reach 100% charge. I found these really helpful. I'd like it back. But I'll be damned if I can find the feature to switch it on.
Can you help?
Thanks.
I'm not aware of anything like it built into Sony bundles - looks like an external app from Play Store. So it doesn't seem to me like a feature to switch on in the ROM, but an app to find.

Mine tells me on the lock screen, however, I do not think you can turn it on or off.

I think it's a new feature in 5.0 but since I'm still running 4.4.4 I can't offer any advice.
Sent from my Xperia Z3 Compact
I'm running Lollipop, don't see anything like it. But I have STAMINA off.

Xperia XZ2 Pocket mode

Good day.
I'm an Xperia XZ1 Compact owner and have been trying some Xperia XZ2 Compact apps.
Found an app called 'pocket mode', that i would like to try, but i don't know if it works in my phome.
I have been searching in google any info about it, but found nothing. Has any Xperia XZ2 owner tried that?
Could you give me a simple description how it works?
Thank you.

try this
Pocket mode disables the touch screen when the screen is off. I have run it since the beginning and it works well. No apps running unintentionally when I have has it in my pocket, unlike some other devices I have owned.

Double Tap to Wake

Really missing this feature from my old Z3 Compact. Anyone know if its possible to get these feature back via custom roms? Or is it hardware dependant?

It's not that Sony have forgotten to add the software to this model, it's a hardware issue. The screen is different on the XZ series and doesn't remain live while the phone is sleeping.
Even if you tweek the kernel, the screen won't respond until it's live (on).
WaveUp works well and has had some positive reviews from XDA members.

horizontal lines on the display, defect, is it normal or assistance?

Hi everyone.
I bought a xperia xz2 model H8216 (rev2), as soon as I picked up the film of the new one, and started using it for a few moments, I noticed some horizontal lines that you could see for a while ... after a while they disappeared.
the next day, I tried to use it and the problem no longer occurred, yet in the evening, suddenly, I saw them reappear.
I read on the net that it seems that the models xz1 and xz2 seem to be affected by this problem, and it seems to be highly susceptible to electrostatics, it does not seem to be a defect and sony says he DOES NOT tame it in assistance.
since I can make the return, that you know, should I keep it, or is it a defective specimen?
it does this even after updating to android 9, and even after software repair with companion PC.
I'm really sad. the terminal is beautiful.
One at a time to answer, not all together..... ????
Hi, it is hard to say, what it is without photos/pictures.
Can you attach any photo of the display with the lines?
When you take screenshot (with lines on screen) and view it later, are the lines there? It would be software issue.
I didn't notice this on my Xperia XZ2 Compact.
If you think, it's not ok, return the device and/or try different piece/device of the same model.
Same problem here xz2 rev 4. Very annoying.
The problem only happens for me in the evening ( I don't know why).
Some say he doesn't have the problem, but in my opinion he doesn't realize it, they don't see it .. I simply apply the rosaceous theme, on that background it is easier to see. If I take the screenshot nothing appears, it's not a software problem. Sony mobile has replied to an email and tells me that on this model it is a normal phenomenon, depending on the conditions, maybe even humidity, it can occur, it is a problem of electrostatic sensitivity. I tried to go to a shop where an xz2 is displayed and I started rubbing my finger on the display, and only after a minute did the horizontal lines appear on that terminal, to then decrease in intensity not touching the display. So I think they are all like that, as is the xz1 model, in fact I noticed that here on xda, in the posts of xz1, there is one where one complains about the same problem. But no one says how it resolves. Honestly, some users say that it solves installing a film. I honestly don't know whether to keep it or make the return and take a different terminal, maybe an s9. But I'm really sorry because xz2 is too good .. in the post of xz1 you can see the photos of these lines.

I did notice this one time on my XZ2. I don't know the cause and only had it happen that one time for about 15 minutes.
