Would this be for snapdragon or exynos versions or both?

Didn't work for me on note 8 exynos version.

It worked for me, but crashing constantly when taking a picture or switching cameras etc. Definitely not reliable.

Google Camera for Note 9 exynos?

Any way to get Pixel 2 camera app on Note 9? Like we have on OP6, S8, Note 8 etc?
The stock Samsung camera isn't nice?
Don't get your hopes up. I don't think it worked really well on the S9+ and since they about the same camera... Well, time will tell.

I have it working on my phone - not 100% but pretty close. I am on N960F Exynos.
Portrait mode on main Camera works well (But not on Front/selfie camera) there are a few bugs, but it really works pretty well -
go here to find out more.

Sports shot and dual camera modes?

Does anyone have working apks for these? I was able to install the most recent updates from apk mirror but they don't show in my camera modes or edit camera modes. Does anyone know if these are being worked on?
I want dual mode too...

It is truly disappointing how Samsung removed the additional Camera modes for Note 9 users..
i have them on my s7flat

I believe the Note 8 camera has no issues using the different downloadable modes (dual camera, sports, surround shot). Problem is trying to make them work on the Note9.

Not just that, it's much more disappointing that they actually decided on going with a *lower* resolution sensor than that of the Note 4 (of all).
I would never have expected that years along the line, camera quality for the Samsung Note range would go down, instead of up. Especially not in the steps from Note 4 towards Note 9.
But it did, and they're not even sorry, it seems.
We need a heavily amped up camera mod, with 100% jpeg and such. I'll try what I can do myself.

Coming from pixel 2 xl?

Always been a Google phone user. Never had a galaxy series? Those of you that have came from pixel how you liking it?
Thanking of getting the note 9 black 512g in a few weeks.
I been both a user of Nexus/Pixel phones and Galaxy phones.
I've had a Galaxy Note 2, a Galaxy S3, a Galaxy S7 Edge, a Galaxy S8+, a Note 8, and a Note 9. I still have both the Note 8 AND the Note 9.
I've had a Galaxy Nexus, a Nexus 6, a Nexus 6P, a Pixel XL, and most recently a Pixel 2 XL.
I bought the Pixel 2 XL after taking a break from Pixel/Nexus for the S8+ and the Note 8. It was cool for about 2 weeks. I loved Android Pie and the cameras. But for ME, I just wound up missing the features of my Note 8, such as the S-Pen. So I'm selling the Pixel 2 XL, and I'll keep the Note 9 as my primary device and the Note 8 as my backup device.

I had all those Google phones. I ordered the 3 xl just cuz I was excited for the next pixel. But realized it wasn't worth the upgrade so I cancelled my order. Been thinking of switching it up completely for once and trying a note 9.
How's the speed of app opening the 6gb vs 8gb. Performance is #1 in a phone for me. I don't play games tho
Both my Notes are 6GB RAM, so I can take compare to the 8GB. But both are still very fast and smooth. My Pixel 2 XL has actually started to lag a bit, but my Note 8 is still smooth.

How are the apps in memory? The most frustrating thing on my pixel 2 are how fast the apps get killed off. I'll have my messages and Spotify open and the pixel kills off messages in a couple minutes

I haven't noticed any problems with that. All my apps stay open and active.

That alone makes me want to switch. Just need to decide 6gb vs 8gb. Storage doesn't matter to me. 128gb is plenty.

I think 6GB is enough. That said, if I found a 512GB for cheap, I'd snag it.

Pixel 5 v Samsung S20 +

Anyone got any true comparison to the camera quality of these 2 phones ? I've always had Pixels literally from the Pixel 2 onwards but I'm not convinced with the camera innovation on the Pixel 5 in fact if anything I'm finding the pics rather dull even compared to my 4XL and my 3XL.
Compared to my wife's Note 20 5G my P5 takes way better photos. I have tested both side by side. I think the cameras are similar on the S20fe and Note 20.
Not to mention the P5 has a far superior OS and better update support.

Are the Samsung pics oversaturated etc as normal ?
Not really but you can tell they look different. I prefer how the P5 pics come out
i have s20+ and p5. samsung still sucks in the camera department. about 1/5 photos from my s20 look "pretty" good. they just can't get processing right.
my p5 always takes amazing photos.
there is no contest.

Question Pixel 3

I currently have a Verizon Pixel 3. I was looking to upgrade to the Pixel 5. The only problem is it doesn't seem like an upgrade. The camera is the most important feature for me. I also don't like Samsung bloatware.
Question:
Should I upgrade to the S21 Ultra or wait for the PIxel 5a?

I went from the pixel 3 to the 21 ultra and the camera is so worth dealing with Samsung's software but get it direct from Samsung not Verizon then you will not have Verizon's bloat. But if the next pixel is what your set on don't waste your time on the 5a get the 6. I am hearing good things about it.
