Does Mi A2 support the new 27W Mi Sonic charger in India? - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

The indian variant supports QC4+, but the sonic charger has max output of 5V/3A,9v3A etc while the 18W qc3 max output is 5v3A, 9v2A etc.
Output is max 3Amps, so will it charge A2 any faster than the 18W Mi QC3 charger?

18W QC3 - https://m.store.mi.com/in/item/3192700003

Not sure if the "sonic charger" works faster than an 18w one as I use a 30W Anker PowerPort Atom PD1 that does USB-C PD - My MI A2 charges very quickly with this and it does standard USB-C PD - it also charges by USB C laptop as well.

Sorry meant quick charge 4.0 adaptor as I have just purchased a razor adaptor that supports QC4.0
It's easy... Just check V x A..
FE: 9V x 2A = 18W

I used a dual port anker 30+18w charger, using the 30w usb PD (type c to type c) plugging in to the wireless charger, it charges the phone really fast. I have no tool to measure, but in my opinion, it's almost as fast as using a 18w wired charger.
But....using 27w wired charger for mi 9 is....even faster .

Will this charger give the phone the full 27W ? (Like the included 30W Charger?)

What is the Cheapest cable that will support that?

Charger I think have to be a good brand, I am using Anker quick charge 3, and my Huawei mate book charger and of course xiaomi charger which came with it. My magenatic cable do not super quick charge but it still charges fast, to quick charge I have to plug USB c cable directly to my phone.

45 watt adapter for mi 9

I've searched info about using 45w PD charger with the mi 9 but didn't find anything related, has anyone used a 45w PD charger? Does the mi 9 supports 45w?
As far as i know xiaomi doesnt use the PD Standard and the fastest Charger you can use is the original xiaomi 27w charger, but maybe you will find some more answers here https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/accessories

Thanks for the info, I tried charging it with a 18W PD charger from Google and does work as fast charge, I was planning to buy the Google 45W charger to charge my Mi 9.
I couldn't find any info regarding 45W PD or non PD charge in accessories forum

My Phone won't charge at 27W

I Have the Global Version of the Mi 9, and it wont charge at 27W at all, the highest that i've gotten was 2060mA.
I tried using the Anker PowerPort III Mini 30Watts Charger, and Also the RAVpower RP-PB097 which charges at 45watts.
the Phone is Rooted and i tried using the CrDroid 6.9 ROM with Quantic Kernel 4.14.198, and also tried Xiaomi.EU MIUI 12 Weekly Build 20.9.24
any ideas why and how to fix it ?
For 27W to work, you need QC 4.0+ certified charger. QC 3.0 only won't work even if the advertised power is higher (it would be more useable to tablets and laptops), including Xiaomi's own CDQ02ZM 45W charger. But Xiaomi has MDY-10-EL that exactly supports it and I have as well, granted that's the only QC 4.0+ certified charger I have and therefore 27W only works with that.

Now that's weird, unless you measure when the battery is above 5% or so. I'll record with my USB doctor attached so you can see the incoming voltage/current yourself.
i have same problem too i tested with my dady's 33w xiaomi charger even i couldnt get 18 w with 33w charger.

65W charging cable?

Hello, I bought a Oneplus 8t+5G (tmobile) used off of Ebay, so I'll need to buy the 65W fast charger myself, what I was unclear on was the cable itself. I currently use this cable, (https://a.co/fCB5o9D) the only power rating it lists is 3.1A. If I bought a 65W charging block, would this cable be sufficient to get the most out of the fast charging?
Also feel free to discuss recommendations for 65W charging cables/blocks. Thanks
If you're using an original OnePlus charger with a USB-C to USB-C cable, it doesn't really matter which one you use, it's best if it meets PD 3.0 60-100W requirements and is reasonably solid. I tested 3 different cables of this type: the original one, some unspecified BlitzWolf and BaseUs PD 60W and the WarpCharge 65W charging was identical with each one. It is different if you would like to use an Oppo or Realme charger with USB-A output - in this case only the original cable will probably charge the WarpCharge 65W.
And remember that only a OnePlus charger compatible with WarpCharge 65W (Realme Superdart or Oppo SuperVooc 2.0) will charge 65W. Third party chargers, even if they are 100W, will not comply with this charging standard.
