Which one has the better costume roms?
I show some on ebay that i want to buy so i need my answer fast.
Which is the better phone the XIAOMI Redmi NOTE 3 PRO Snapdragon 650 or
XIAOMI Redmi 3 PRO Qualcomm Snapdragon 615?
This phone will be for light gaming and genial use.
I plan on rooting this and installing custom firmware as well as unlocking the bootloader.
Any idea which one is the best?

I just saw a news article saying Qualcomm said they have the capability built into the 855 chipset but has not getten the licensing. They're calling it Qualcomm fastconnect.

Nope, the Snapdragon 855 uses the older WifiBT chip so I do t know how to unlock it. Maybe take another Fastconnect 6200 phone and use that software to make it work.
It's more then just a firmware trick, there's hardware requirement for WiFi 6

I bought a rog5 and I did not notice that it heats up more than others, the advantage of 5 is the fact that it has a dedicated ESS Sabre DAC
The Sd888 isn't a isn't a major upgrade over the Sd865+. The ROG phone 5 and the 3 share the same camera sensors. The 5 as of now is still out of stock and has still no custom roms. The 3 is the better deal right now

Only the user of ROG Phone 3 that cannot afford ROG Phone 5 suggest you to buy ROG Phone 3
And I picked 3 as I've seen many complaints about 5 have it for over Mont now and no regrets!

The Note 11 Pro is a very minor upgrade to the 10 Pro, probably the only advantage is a slightly bigger battery and faster charging. I would also consider the Note 10 Pro's snapdragon processor to be a better option than a Mediatek one. So I would save yourself some money and go for the 10 Pro.

nope.. mediatek is "evil" imho...
The Redmi Note 11 Pro with it's Mediatek would probably give you better performance and longer battery life (6nm vs 8nm), but according to users here the Mediatek is not so well supported with custom roms/camera apps, I guess.
I personally would have bought the RN11 Pro if they had improved the camera a bit further. The lack of OIS (or at least decent EIS) with it's average performance just doesn't make me want to spend another 250-300€ yet.
I'm thinking to get the Note 10 Pro or Note 11 Pro, I've kept my last Xiaomi MiA1 for 4 years, so want something that will be supported kind of long term. I'm running a custom Rom on my MiA1 Pixel Experience and GCAM too. For that reason I think I am better going with the Note 10 Pro?
I do like the sharper looks of the Note 11 Pro though, and the 5G might be useful too?
Or is there something else worth waiting for that might come out soon? Budget is important to me.
Redmi note 10 pro. Have many development teams, custom rom. If note 11 pro have a Snapdragon version, i think i'll choose it. I like note 11 pro design but no more than note 10 pro custom rom
The 11 Pro Global version will have video recording capped at 1080p @30 FPS on all cameras. Maybe if someone can fix this after phone root i will definetly buy one, but not untill then.
Maybe the version with 120W charging (if it ever gets a Global version) will have more video options.
I am also undecided between the two...

On the other hand, the 11 pro 5g has also all frequencies for US.
I don't care much about 5G, but it seems the 11 pro supports way more frequencies.

Because Mediatek not sharing "source code" (I believe that the right terms, CMIIW) to public not like Snapdragon, that cause problems to develop new rom for update. And that condition apply for manufacturers and community
