F2FS - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

Hi,I wanted to ask if the S10 will get F2FS support officially or unofficially. The Note 10 has it so it should work on S10 too.

S10 F2FS
I have read that it is possible to switch to F2FS flashing a file but that it formats the memory of the device so probably the samsung will not release anything official for the "old" devices

It still does not support F2FS? Neither the China Developer?
No, if you want f2fs switch to lineage os or stay with miui in ext4

Galileo/GNSS

Do you think we will ever have either offical or unoffical support for the Galileo positioning system?
The chipset is listed as compatible on the EU website and qualcomm stated that they would only need a firmware upèdate, but from what I understood ther is no official support from OnePlus to get the system activated on the 3T, but like with DayDream and Bluetooth AptX we might do it unofficially
Do you think it's possible? Do you think it's viable?
Well, let's hope for an unofficial update

Treble Support

Does samsung Galaxy A6 has treble support and A/B System partition? Since this device was released with Android Oreo. If supported, does the unofficial TWRP support it?
it doesn't have a/b

F2FS

I have seen that some kernels support f2fs on this device when comparing with Android common f2fs branch. My question is though if OneUI itself supports f2fs or not? And if not is there a patcher to allow it to support f2fs such as by modifying the fstab? Thank you

Not sure, im not rooted for the first time. But i know back from S7e Days and Note 8 too, that F2FS Support was there, but was not Overall functional at all. I guess Ironman Rom was the only one wich works with F2FS but i wont talk bullsh*** here. But also in kombination with a kernel wich Support F2FS
Anxway i Think F2FS ist a nice thing, but if you get it to work or not..dont know. Good Luck anyway !

note 8 snapdragon lineage os help

its been a few years since i modded a phone. i recently got my hands on a used samsung galaxy note 8 {factory unlocked/no carrier} with a snapdragon processor.
model # SM-N950U1
Im searching around this forum but most of the info is for exynos processors.
i need to unlock the bootloader and root so that i can install
LineageOS 19.1.how can i do this?
The snapdragon version is called the "greatqlte". You can root it via twrp, but I'm not sure about custom rom support, and definitely not lineage19.1.
The snapdragon version has basically no support on xda. Someone posted a question similar to yours a while back.
too bad , its still a good phone, whats the highest version of android i can install ?
I don't think there are any roms.. I think I saw an oreo one, but you're probably better off sticking to oneui on android 9, which is stable (unlike the oreo build).
You can still root and debloat/customise your phone via magisk modules etc.
