Enable Wi-Fi Calling via Verizon on Unlocked Device? - Moto G6 Questions & Answers

Hello all,
I have an unlocked Moto G6 on Verizon on which I'd like to enable wi-fi calling. I called Verizon and they supposedly provisioned wifi calling to our account, but when I try to activate it via:
Phone App
Click the three dots on the upper right hand corner
Click Settings
Click Calls
Enable the Wifi Calling toggle
Wifi calling is not there. Also, when going to *#*#4636#*#*, wifi calling is greyed out and I can't toggle it on.
A preliminary Googling suggests that the unlocked Moto G6 is incapable of wifi calling because it does not have the necessary HD Voice and Wifi Calling software from Verizon. Supposedly the Verizon Moto G6 also has a different IMEI. However, it seems to me that if both versions of the phone have identical hardware, they should both be capable of wifi calling.
Has anyone run into this issue? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can enable wifi calling on my Moto G6?

at present verizon does not let any non vzw branded device use wifi calling.
which seriously sucks, but then again, we are talking about verizon, so...

VoLTE problem in my moto x 2013 with CM13

The VoLTE provisioned flag is turned on. I checked it by dialing *#*#4636#*#*
The problem lies in the Cellular Network settings menu. There is no option to enable enhanced 4G LTE services.
The network I'm using supports only VoLTE calls (Reliance jio, India).
I even tried turning the VoLTE provisioned flag off and then on again but it just isn't responding. It always "stays on" no matter how much I click (i.e., it always says "TURN OFF VOLTE PROVISIONED FLAG" no matter what)
What could be the problem here and how do I solve it?
same issue here and im also waiting for the fix
What exactly are you guys trying to achieve? Native VoLTE support? That won't happen unless Motorola implements its on a firmware level though a patch like they did for the Moto X Play, which they never will.
Even if they could do it quite easily Lenovo will never release a feature enhancing patch for Moto X Gen 1, a phone manufactured while Motorola was a Google company.
As far as Lenovo is concerned the Gen 1 X is dead and done with, planned obsolescence at its best.
So stick to the Jio4GVoice app, it more than does the job.

Does T-Mo disable wifi calling on their unlocked phones if using a different carrier?

I recently purchased an unlocked T-Mobile LG G4 that I am using with Consumer Cellular. I really like this phone, but it appears that T-Mobile has somehow disabled the wifi calling feature. I keep getting the message "wifi calling ER05 invalid sim". The sim is a Consumer Cellular card, and it's not the end of the world if I can't use the wifi calling feature, but I do wonder if there is anything I can do to make it work. TIA.
Wifi calling has to be supported and enabled by your carrier. I am on MetroPCS and since they are basically T-Mobile they support it, but I had to call support and have them enable it.

Verizon WiFi Calling

So, Verizon says that they can't provide WiFi calling, however, the new radio supports it.
Any way to force the network to provision our Nexus 6 phones for WiFi calling?

I also couldn't figure it out.

What cell companies have WiFi calling that works with the Moto Z3 play.

I have a house that gets no cell signal (from any provider, I think), and I just found out ATT hasnt enabled wifi calling on the Z3 play (I think). The house has broadband internet, just no cell signal.
Has anyone successfully used WiFi calling, and with what provider?
Also, are there any other options besides expensive microcell tower boxes? ( Microcells seem like a bad option because the family uses several different cell companies)
Thanks in advance.
Republic uses wifi calling through their app. I use at work where i have no wifi signal.
T-Mobile WiFi calling works.
Yes t-mo is the way to go.
Can anyone confirm wifi-calling is working on Verizon?

I dont find a way with Verizon
T-MOBILE has WI-fi calling.
Sprint does for sure. their Wi-Fi calling takes it a step further, in that when transitioning or leaving Wi-Fi, while on a call, it is a seamless transition. (ie. The call does not drop connection, because it is always connected )

Unlocked variant on t-mobile

I have an Unlocked variant which I purchased directly from Samsung.
I don't happen to see VOLTE settings in my mobile networks setting.
Is this normal? I have seen another user post a screenshot from his/her phone which shows VoLTE setting (Telcel network) which can be turned off or on,but my phone doesnt have that.
I am on Tmobile.
tmobile phones have never displayed any VoLTE icons or notifications. Its carrier dependant on if they show it or not.
Unlocked US S10s has every Tmobile feature except Multiline Digits and probably their crappy RCS service
It's also missing the Tmo Video calling.
i have t mobile and always buy samsung international phones. volte, wifi calling,
video calling, and download booster usually dont work until i change the csc to tmo. i would think the ability to do so will be coming once the phone is rooted and out for a while.

1. Normal. The icon is disabled, but the feature isn't.
2. Yes. Testing VoLTE is as simple as placing a call. Phones w/o VoLTE will drop to 3G/2G OR fail if LTE is the only signal avail.
3. VoLTE toggle is missing. I sent feedback to Samsung about this some time ago.
