Hi man, When I rooted I lost access to the sim card, the phone can't read any sim card. Does this file solve this problem?
IMEI and baseband null

same for Redmi 6 MT6762 (cereus) on stock Android 9 with Magisk in recovery. when I boot normally SIM works. What's the background for this issue? I can hardly believe that recovery itself contains IMEI. all other partitions are stock MIUI global 11.0.4 (32-bit)

btw what's that script? "AnyKernel by Alexey070315" LoL it's by osm0sis! useless use of anykernel – unpacking + repacking boot.img for no reason – boot.img is not patched at all!
instead it tries to modify build.prop in system + vendor which breaks systemless root! it want to set ro.treble.enabled=false why?

From Bootloader - Android System Status: Custom

See pics. After unlocking I get a custom Android boot screen and the phone will not read any SIM. Appreciate if someone knows how to reverse this. Running Android 5.0 (can't root, install custom recovery, flash, or update from external storage).

WTH?
Did you unlock the bootloader?

No. AT&T and Verizon lock the bootloader starting with Android 5. I did find that the baseband version is "unkown", which is why the radio is not working or reading a SIM. See picture.
Hmmm
So your ril got corrupted some how is what it looks like to me.
What is "ril" the acronym for?
In any event, where can I get a stock 5.0 or higher ROM that I can hopefully flash from my sd card. All I'm seeing is 4.4.2. Apparently, the AT&T updates are OTA.
Hmmm
I'm out of town right now and can't find one on xda. Try sammobile.com. Don't try ro flash it via sdcard. Odin or adb sideload would be the way to go. I would also suggest rebooting into the built in recovery and resetting it that way.
Thank you. for the suggestions. Before posting the original thread I tried a factory re-set (volume up + home + power), as well as Odin, and neither worked.
AT&T has the bootloader locked tight on Android 5.0 and above.
Yes
That is unfortunately true. Where did you buy the phone? And do you live in the states?
Use Triangle Away apk.
It's US stock, original AT&T device. Worked fine with the exception of poor battery life after the 5.0 OTA upgrade untilit was unlocked.

easiest way.. save your data, and do factory reset
@soan0 Your version is 64gb? Xiaomi mi A2 its: 32gb, 64gb or 128gb..
If its really 64gb do a factory reset.
Backup your files then format data from twrp (format not wipe)
thank you all i solved the problem my flashing the stock rom v10 in fastboot mode

Recovery?

I hope someone can compile a recovery for the U19e.
It's possibly HTC's last release ?
I don't want to order it until I know it's rootable.

? How did you install Magisk with no recovery?
Mod edit - translated by https://translate.google.com/?hl=de&tab=TT:
How to root without twrp
*****************************
没有twrp怎么root啊,跪求
What a waste
I have bought HTC U19e, its a beautiful phone, responsive and good size...
But with no help from @sabpprook , no RUU, silly A/B partitions, no 'fastboot boot' support. Doubt this phone will ever be supported by TWRP developers. No root means I will have to throw the phone away. Such a shame.
Well, the magisk-install thread says:
In case your device lacks a custom recovery, you can either :
Manually patch your device’s boot image and flash it, or
Use the Direct Install option
Just try the alternate way -may you have to unlock bootloader via the normal htcdev site.
6 months have passed, the phone still in the box never used
sabpprook confirmed he is not willing to help or share his patched boot image.
What a shame more people didn't get behind HTC.

Moto x4 twrp folder not recognisable

Hello all,
Lately I wanted to install rom on my moto x4 and altough I'm a bit noob in the process I was confident I could do it properly (did it in the past with a oneplus one and a sony erickson x10mini )
So I've unlocked my my bootloader and I was ready to boot twrp image with adb to finally be able to install twrp and magisk.
but there is the problem,
normally I should see this

}
But instead I see this
Honestly I look what was the issue here but my skills as a rom installer are not that great so I got stuck there.
Of course I can still use my phone without any issue but I have no idea on how I can install twrp magisk and later on a rom.
Does anybody have an idea what is the issue here ?
Thank you
Seems like your TWRP version was not able to decrypt data partition.
Boot to system and disable encryption for your phone (Lock screen -> none). Boot to recovery again afterwards. Try flashing your zips.

lol honestly didn't think about that, thanks a lot :highfive:

Your device needs reflash Magisk to work properly.

After flashing Magisk 26.0, I got this error, already reflashed it 3 times in recovery mode. (with app and without)

installation fails on flashing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
you need to go into the magisk app v26 and click install direct installation right after flashing in recovery
im using a mtk device and magisk patching from app doesnt seem to work at all since mtk locks the currently using slot's bootimg as r/o and reverts changes after reboot.
any workarounds?

it just got corrupted after reboot and i had it revert to miui
I have the same problem on Lenovo Tab 4 after updating to 26.1 from a much older version.
I think I'll just leave it as it is, it seems to work OK, I just can't download new modules.
Same with me, after flashing EvolutionX to my Redmi Note 10S. I also ignored this message because I reflashed it a few times, but nothing changed, still appears.
It works great, so there's nothing to do with that I think.
