My new 977B displayes 4G and 5G not passing through 4G+. Does anyone have this behaviour or is only mine?
Do you get 4G+ with another phone? Also is it a carrier phone or unbranded? Some carriers change the data icon so it is possible that your carrier removed the 4G+ icon.

My carrier provides either 4G and 4G+, but I don't know if this device shows both networks as an unique 4G icon. Do you see 4G+ on your device?

I've got a Verizon S10 5G so my icons will be different from yours. Also the 4G and 4G+ icons are replaced with their own logo.

Yes, there's only a '4G LTE' logo for 4G and 4G+. As far as I know carriers outside the US don't do this but I may be wrong.

I have G977N , changed my CSC from KTC to KOO but still cannot get 5G NR frequency here in the Philippines.
Does any one know how can I use the 5G to maximize its capability?

well, here is the deal.
I bought my Note 8 in the USA (model N950U1) and I am using it in Mexico with Telcel and is working in LTE all the time but a friend of mine has the international version and he has 4G+ (LTE+) and I dont. I went to Canada last week and my network changed to Rogers and was able to use LTE+ the entire week, so I am guessing that it has to be the bands here in Mexico or something. Is there a way to change the CSC or the bands so I can use the LTE+? I have the snapdragon version.

I forgot to mention that, In USA and Canada the use LTE instead of 4G (is the same), so if you see 4G+ i the same as LTE+. Looks like they are more into letters than numbers.
So,are you on 4G+ or just 4G?
Telcel uses 4G+ or 4.5G, (LTE+) as they evolved from 4G (LTE) to handle VoLTE, so they say

I have TIM Italia and with my Honor 10 goes in 4g + but with This MI A2 only 4G..bah ..

after this in netwrok settings appear "modalita 4G LTE avanzata"

same problem with orange slovakia operator. no 4g+ with carrier aggregation on 2600 + 800 MHz (CA bands 7 + 20)
The Mi A2 supports 4G+ ( LTE-A or Carrier Aggregation ) out of the box, it just doesn't show the 4G+ icon like some other Android phones.
Stock Android by default, like on Pixel devices, shows only LTE or 4G.
Attatched picture shows stock Mi A2 on the latest September update using both 2600Mhz + 1800Mhz Carrier Aggregation.

What app is that?

I tried this app, and it showed me that I sometimes have 2CC or 3CC (800+1800+2600).
So carrier aggregation works really well.
Is it really necessary to have band 20? Do you exprerience signal drops with LTE? Do you live in a city or countryside?
I'm in the city (northern of Italy) but go on countryside and on highways. Sometimes I don't see LTE signal (only H and occasionally 3G) but I have no idea if other phones get LTE signals there...
The phone calls are always good and no problems here)
Now I've a the phone for about one month and I do not suffer for the absence of the B20 signal.

In Croatia i get 4G almost everywhere also in Austria, but in Germany in rural areas there is H+ or 3G because they use band 20 to cover bigger areas (so there no 4G for k20pro)
In town where I live (~20k people, Poland) there is mostly LTE and in a bit of places with LTE+. But in some areas the phone is jumping to H+.

I'm a new owner of the Mi 9 lite. I'm loving the phone but I can't get it to connect to 4G+ (LTE-A).
My previous phone connects instantly to 4G+ and I get speeds of about 40-50 mbit/s. But my precious Mi 9 lite only connects to normal 4G with 12-18mbit.
Location is Sweden and phone bought in Sweden. Global version.
I've checked phone status and the physical LTE band configuration is just {}.
Any ideas? Do you guys have 4G+ on your Mi 9 Lite?

Yes, as you see in my post I got 4G+ at home if I put the SIM in my old phone.
Today I visited Finland and I got 4G+ there, so I suspect it's some settings on my home provider that I need to fix.

So, after my trip to Finland (where I got 4G+) I now have 4G+ also at home. So it has fixed itself somehow. I don't care why, I'm just happy it has jumped up to 4G+ also at home
