Nokia 4.2 ADB debug and mtp - Nokia 4.2 Questions & Answers

Hi, on my Nokia 4.2 phone I've enabled adb debug mode, but when I set USB transfer mode to mtp, the adb connection gets disabled. Is there a way to have both features enabled?
Thank you

ADB recognition of NookColor

ADB does not recognize a stock NookColor because debug mode must be enabled on the device. To enable debug mode, you must have a rooted NC.
If you boot with NookieFroyo, you can activate debug mode by selecting from the notification menu in the upper left after connecting the NC via USB.

[Q] MTP USB Device "device unplugged"

[Help] Only charging in MTP mode

Z1 C6902 5.1.1 root
As usual, I connect USB cable in MTP mode to explorer internal or external storage, but now :
- In MTP Mode : I can't do nothing, it just charging althought on PC and on mobile say connected, and MTP driver falsed in Devices manager. Sony PC Companion can't detect device too.
- In MSC Mode : normally
I tried many ways : uninstall driver, on/off USB debug, delete "upperfilters" key in regedit, unmount SD card.... but nothing changed
How can I fix it, please.
Is there any hidden options that I "may" turn MTP mode for only charge ?
(Sorry for my bad English)

Nexus 6 on 7.1.1 won't retain PTP USB mode across reboots - no ADB connection

Does anyone know why PTP mode would not be retained across a reboot? It seems to revert to MTP when rebooting into either the bootloader menu or into regular user mode.
I am trying to unlock the bootloader on my Nexus 6 running the latest build N6F27C of 7.1.1 that was sideloaded over 7.0 using ADB from my Mac. Now I'd like to start again and perform a clean flash of the 7.1.1 using ADB.
In normal user mode I can enable USB debugging in Developer Options and when PTP USB mode is selected then ADB will list my device just fine, I can trigger a reboot, etc.
However, after rebooting into the bootloader menu ADB shows that it has lost connection with my device, even though the screen shows that USB is connected. The ADB device list is empty.
On subsequent reboot into user mode I can see that USB debugging mode is still on but PTP connection mode has reverted to MTP, which (at least on a Mac) can account for ADB's lost USB connection to the device.
ADB debugging in PTP mode has worked fine for me in the past, but the phone now has been through several factory resets and restores from Google's backups, plus it is on 7.1.1.

Mtp OTG doesn't work

Hi ! I don't know why but I want to connect my Pixel 4a 5G Yesterday on my mac and today on Pc the pixel is not recognized.
I have uncheck usb debuging and check it again but not working.
My Pixel are on last Android 12 and root with magisk. it is possible that a mode can create a problem with the OTG ?
I have test on Safe mod doesn't work too
I have connect an usb type c usb key it recognize.
I have test connect on plateform tools and on terminal ./adb devices, have message on pixel to allow my computer and it recognize but not Android File transfert ?
I think stay the new update and see if I can update it !?
I don't understand why ?
Thanks
Hi ! I post again because when I connect usb key mtp works and if I connect to my mac and go to settings usb parameters and choose transfert files/Android auto that work but never had notification pop-up for choose it
USB is a master/slave protocol. When you plug in an otg cable, your phone's USB controller switches into host mode. Your computer's USB is always in host mode. So your effectively trying to get two master devices to communicate which USB does not support.
