Did exactly as you said, phone got bricked and I had to recover with OST LA, I'm not sure why it isn't working, but I really do wish i could use this ROM, so I'll wait a while for it to update
EDIT:
I got it to work with the above method, there was an issue with my boot loader, so had to downgrade everything and try again, worked.
Thank you, new favorite ROM

After 10 min of usage can report the following:
1- both of my sim cards are not recognized
2- the only navigation system that works is three dots
3- the installed pixel launcher crashes almost always
4- most google apps are unusable as they require login and the entire google services app is buggy and doesn't work (keeps crashing)
so i am gonna go and test some other roms but will be waiting for updates as this rom looks very promising and from what works amazing looking
and i do know that this is a very beta build and i am willing to provide the dev with any info he needs
keep up the good work

Got it to work finally and it looks stable so far (with the release of the new lawnchair + quickswitch)
if you are interested in the steps i took after alot of tries here they are:
1- Boot twrp-3.3.1-0-B2N_sprout-10.0-20191108.img
2- Wipe Everything
3- Flash Havoc-OS-v3.0-20191105-Onyx-Unofficial.zip
4- Flash twrp-installer-3.3.1-0-B2N_sprout-10.0-20191108.zip (make sure they are version 10)
5- Switch to Alternative Slot (for me switching to a before flashing then back to b after twrp install seems to work)
6- Reboot to recovery
7- Flash this version of the GApps (open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20190928-BETA.zip) they are older and don't have any compatibility issues with the OS
8- Flash Perf-Stock-10.0-B2N_sprout.zip
9- Wipe all Except System and Veender
10- Reboot and do the android setup till u reach the desktop (sign in )
11- Reboot back to recovery
12- Flash open_gapps-arm64-10.0-stock-20191105-BETA.zip (this will override old apps and install the missing hence the date 05/11)
13- Optional: if you want Magisk you can flash it now or any time in the future (Magisk-v20.0.zip)
after that the pixel launcher might still be faulty i will send a version i extracted from pixel experience that seems to work although i recommend using lawnchair + quickswitch
sorry for the long post i wanted to share my journey installing this rom

Bugs
You tell me
Reporting bugs
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel
DO NOT report bugs if you've modifies system files
DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
Code:
adb logcat > logcat.txt
Code:
adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt
If it is a random reboot, grab kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Code:
adb shell cat /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs reported in the lastest 5 pages of this thread. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
Code:

* LineageOS version
* Gapps version
What you did:
* Wipe data: y/n

You're using (if yes write which one) :

F.A.Q.
ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
Why no nightly today?
Build failed. Check again tomorrow
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.
The LineageOS team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

We have the same problem
Enviado desde mi Moto Z2 Play mediante Tapatalk
I pulled these logs after it rebooted back into twrp recovery
I've managed to boot in after the format and flash. But data was disabled, screen off sent a shut down signal and went directly to the recovery. I'll flash stock and try another way around. props
Those who experience reboot .. disable ambient display.
I came here to say what I'm finding, I'm using it on the bike xt1710-07, the automatic theme works using the launcher pixel2, I found it very cool, using a dark wallpaper, the theme darkens and the theme turns white, turn off the screen only in the power button of the device, the rom supports the magisk as I am using it and I have root access, as you mentioned the device does not stay reigning alone, I had to disable the display environment, it's a shame the camera does not work, in my opinion this was the that I found so far, if the camera by at least the other problems work does not affect much, I loved this rom.

Make sure you take EFS backup before flashing any custom rom...
just backed up stock and flashed latest build.... hooray for camera and FM Radio Ambient display still causing reboot to recovery, but I never use that feature on any of my devices so I disable it. I'll report any bugs I find and provide logcat(s) if needed.
I have the wireless charging moto mods addon. I did some looking around on the moto z (griffin) forum and found an addon to flash. I might try it after I get this build setup and backed up.
*edit* addon does not work without modding since it's looking for griffin.
I applaud you.!
I think no custom ROMs have supported MotoMod features yet. I'm so eager to try this ROM. It seems much more stable now. Good job,rahulsnair...:good:

Hi firstly would like to thank for this amazing rom of its stability and all. With that said, installation of this rom took me hours since iam new to the A/B boot partition of the phone (previous phone used was the note8 with no A/B Boot partition) but then again you need to get used to it. With that said, asuscamera.zip port works on the rom. When first launch of rom go to panoroma for front camera to flip thereafter it worked properly then. With that i have a couple of suggestions for the said phone since iam wanting to used this rom as daily driver
1st. For Security wise, i hope in future update you would introduce front facing unlocked of the phone since its one of the features of the phone which is flip cam.
2nd. For the notifications toggles, i hope you would also have the toggles of the sound/vibrate and mute since its quite easier by pulling down noti instead of pressing volume button and mute/vibrate the phone.
3rd. For the omniswitch launcher , i hope in future you would introduce folder of putting in apps as its rather untidy seeing my homefeed fill with apps all over the place.
4th. Also its rather confusing now since that theres omniswitch and also the normal way of using the phone of swiping up for recents item and also swiping down for notifications toggles so i hope you can enable/disable either.
With that said hope you listen to my above suggestion and also may i asked where i can donate
Hi developer, since it needs wipe data when installing.
I would like to know if there is retract camera and double tap to wake feature?
Add to that also the fingerprint unlocked sometimes worked sometimes it did not so it needs to get some fix there.

Double tap to wake works and retract camera is there too.
I installed the latest update from ASUS. And I am unable to boot this ROM. Not sure if Im doing something wrong or if it just not supported.
I followed your instructions, tried your TWRP, TWRP from the TWRP post.
Just loops to the ASUS logo, or just stays at the ASUS logo.

I installed Omni successfully on Stock 174 and stock 189 with the provided TWRP 18.
Did you try it with boot to twrp > flash twrp installer > reboot to twrp > format > reboot to twrp > flash omni + twrp installer > reboot twrp > wipe > flash gapps?

Very close to that. I didnt format between the two reboots to TWRP.
Maybe Ill give that a shoot when I get home from work today.
Edit: Thanks Dude. I got it to boot.
Has anyone used the speaker in WhatsApp or telegram calls? Even on the lowest volume setting it is very loud. Is there any setting to lower the min volume?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

F&Q
1) ROM is bootlooping?
Use the right way to boot it and keep in mind theres 2 variant of Realme 5 Pro
1.RMX1971EX (this one which i test my roms on it)
2.RMX1971 (Q)
both have the same hardware but it not the same software as the some changes in storage,
but both need this steps to boot successfuly on your phone.
Curious_guy said:
From TWRP i followed the steps bellow.
1) Wiped everything
2) Installed C.05 and rebooted to recovery (didnt start on C.05 RUI)
3) Again wiped everything, flashed 20200820 (latest build) and bitgapps(Recommended).

I managed yesterday to downgrade and flash this one and it works like a charm. Very smooth and stable. Thanks for sharing and for the help!
dude this is absolutely great. do you plan releasing updates for this in the future? because it seems like its the first release of 17.1 so there are still a lot of fixes to be done yet by the lineage devs.

If you're in Color OS then you have the right firmware and you can flash this rom via TWRP. Make sure you wipe your data and cache before flashing. If you get into recovery after first reboot (could happen if you are in a rom with data encryption), format data and reboot again.

Yes, of course. This are the steps I followed. I assume you haven't an unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed. If so, you can skip the 3 first steps.
1 - Unlock bootloader following this tutorial. https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1184734239149522944 . If you face any issue when entering the commands in fastboot mode I would recommend connecting the usb to another port of your computer and try again.
2 - Flash TWRP. You can find a guide here https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...de-newbie-resource-thread-bootloader-t3995285 . It is pretty simple, in summary you must flash the TWRP image and the VBMETA image in fastboot mode.
3 - Enter in TWRP, make a backup of all partitions.
4 - Download ColorOS firmware from here https://realmeupdater.com/downloads/archive/RMX1971EX/ (thanks kemo12533). I downloaded the RMX1971EX_11_A.17 version. You will get an OZIP file that you must copy to your phone. I would recommend copying it to an external SD card.
5 - From TWRP, wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache. Press install and select the ColorOS ozip you moved to SD.
6 - Press reboot system and you should boot into color OS. If your phone reboots into recovery mode again, format data (keep in mind that this will erase everything in your phone storage).
Thank you very much for your effort. May I ask if this will work with european models? Are there really no known issues in the very first release? Will this be added to the official download lists?

What is this?
An AOSP based ROM, with gapps included and gesture support (pocket, hand wave, pickup).
Based on Android 11.0
Bugs:
You tell me!
Steps:
1. Use latest CosmicDan treble TWRP
2. Re-partition to treble layout if you haven't done so yet
3. Flash vendor.img, system.img and a treble supported kernel (you can use mine or any of the other treble kernels on tissot xda)
4. Wipe data if coming from any other rom(!)
5. Flash Rom (No need for gapps, do not flash them, they are included!)
6. Reboot and wait for setup wizard to come up (may take 2-3 minutes)
7. Reboot
There is now a toggle to add SuperSU on boot in Phh Settings > Misc:
Just enable it and reboot. (Keep in mind it breaks safteynet, if you need to use a banking app, disable it from settings and reboot)
Downloads: Link
@phhusson for his work on GSI (donate to this man, he works on dozens of devices)
@flex1911 for his help bringing 9.0 kernel source for tissot
Oreo team (you all know who you are,@CosmicDan for twrp, @ghpranav for treble vendor source)
Enjoy!
P.S.
I am not going to add any custom features from other roms so please don't comment about that, feel free to flash any other GSI with this vendor/kernel if you want other features.

What do you mean not working? Did you clean install? Does it show up in settings? Are you using my vendor + kernel?
Edit: tested it again on clean install, works fine.
Please follow all the instructions and use my kernel and vendor

I'm probably missing something ... these are my steps:
- device is already in treble mode
- format data
- flash vendor, flash system,flash boot.img (kernel = boot.img, right?)
- the system starts without problems! but the initial configuration does not show the fingerprint option
apparently for me only fingerprint didn't work... the system is working perfectly. thank you sooti

No
Works normal so far. Is there the latest boot.img? Because this old boot.img makes GCam v7 freeze.
Sorry,
but how I can "re-partition to treble layout if you haven't done so yet"?
GPS, battery life, gcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, ok Google are ok?

No idea, it's working fine for me, please make sure you haven't flashed magisk
Flash the vendor and boot image from the drive , wipe using fastboot -w then reboot ,.
Tried it twice and it's fine
If it's still not working please send logs

If you don't have a vendor partition you need to repartition

I think Perf+ v235 support Android R, Unfortunately no. Until now nothing kernel support R for Mi A1.
Adaptive screen still error. Sometimes dimm sometimes bright

Not sure what you're talking about... Best to just use my vendor and kernel, no brightness issues
