Cellular data not work

i've been daily driving it no issue i reccommend installing opengapps instead of the meizu app and well ofc delete the chinese bloatware apps , a major fix for lags is to download a kernel manager and set gpu to be at max freq for some reason that fixes ui lags weird but it doesnt affect battery that much also dont use live wallpapers but one thing i cant make work is google camera weird... :/

[ iPhone x Gestures ] [ Root or Magisk ]

Note : Works only with latest miui developer roms.
Hey guys,
This guide is to learn how to enbale iPhone X gestures on supported Mi Phones.
Requirements - Either root or Magisk
Method 1 ( Requires root access ) :
go to your build.prop file located at /system/build.prop and edit the following code
Code:
[B]qemu.hw.mainkeys=1[/B]
change it to this
Code:
[B]qemu.hw.mainkeys=0[/B]
If the code doesn't exist in your build.prop then add the required line ( qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 ) at the bottom of build.prop
Now reboot the device and go to settings. You will see new option ''Full Screen Display''. This is the option where you can enable the iPhone X Gestures on supported Mi Phones.
Method 2 ( Root not required but requires Magisk ) :
Download the attached magisk module and flash in either twrp recovery or via Magisk app itself and reboot the device. You will see new option ''Full Screen Display'' in settings. This is the option where you can enable the iPhone X Gestures on supported Mi Phones.
Hit Thanls if you like my work.

This mod doesn't belong to camera in any way. You probably might have used some camera related mods. You might be using camera2api. I have heard that camera2api causes such issues.
But still I'll look into this

Can someone tell me the main functions of this mod? The only iPhone X gesture I know is the swipe up to unlock (+face recognition), but I prefer unlock via fingerprint.

If these roms are based on latest developer roms, then this mod should work. You can give it a try to check. Follow the proper procedure mentioned in 1st post.
Works on latest xiaomi.eu
will it work for mi max 2?

[MAGISK] DISABLE pull-down of quick-toggle/status bar in lock screen on locked phone.

Maybe you all fed up with Google's decision to allow pull-down of statusbar in locked phone.
As I am, even made a bug report but Xiaomi is thicc: http://en.miui.com/thread-3078766-1-1.html
Well I found a fix for this at least in Xiaomi's MIUI:
Just flash China ROM & replace this 2 folders in the /system/priv-app/
- MiuiSystemUI
- Settings
with the one from xiaomi.eu, of course this needs root & same xiaomi.eu version as your phone.
You'll got those features back in Settings like in MIUI 9. I tried it myself.
For you who use China Stable Oreo in Mi 5s Plus, you can try my Magisk mod for this.
https://github.com/Crescendo-BLYAT/securephone-xiaomi.eu
Script by: Didgeridoohan
As this will only work in specific device/MIUI version, my module only works for Natrium China ROM - MIUI 10.1.3.0 (Oreo)!!
You can use this as template and get xiaomi.eu ROM for your respective device, extract the ROM & get those 2 folders inside /system/priv-app and replace the one in my module, touch nothing and flash in your magisk and see in the Settings > Notification & status bar -> Show on secure lock screen.
Disable that if you don't want anyone to mess with your locked phone via quick-toggle.
Thanks for the effort but on closed beta there was an option to do that in settings that I'm sure will come to stable global

That sounds odd. Because this isn't region based. This is something available in all regions
I'm on Globe ROM. Region set to North America. But really, this setting isn't dependent on region. What does it say when u tap on MIUI version?
If it helps, mine is a Chinese phone. It had the option on stock chinise firmware. It had it when I switched to Revolution OS (Based from Spain) and also Xiaomi.eu .

No such option for me either, in the latest Global Beta, 9.5.30.
I still remember there's no such option in global roms.
Mine also don't have ( global stable)
If you really need it install customiuizer

No such option in "cepheus_global_images_V10.2.9.0.PFAMIXM_20190411.0000.00_9.0_global" either
Would be nice to have.
I am using: Easy Reboot for root users from the Play Store and I integrated it into XorWidgets. That way I save the power button from being worn.

I am on MIUI Global 10.2.12 and don'e have this option.
I think this one is what you want.
I'm in MiUi10 9.7.11 EU version, I installed CustoMiUizer where locates under Exposed. (Or said, Edxposed).
Extended power menu is a feature existed in Xiaomi.eu , official Miui ROM (china or global) don't have it and since Global ROM based on xiaomi.eu, it has this feature too.

Mi 9Tpro EU comes with stock android Dialer etc

Unpleasant surprise for me ...
After getting my Mi 9Tpro euro, I discovered that the euro phone does not comes with the following:
Xiaomi Dialer/Contact
Xiaomi Sms
Facemoji Keyboard
But with the stock Google dialer etc .. instead
if Facemoji can easily be installed, from the store, the dialer and sms (althought they can be downloaded from apk repositories ) will crash or not fully work if you side load them from apk..
Vanilla android app might be to some taste , but I'm pissed to be stuck with them as I happen to like Xiomi's
may be I could try to get the global ROM? but really wtf is xiaomi doing with there euro rom... and what reviewer are doing ... seems they are testing everything but the phone part of the phone -_-
can't you just use one of the miui.eu roms? they include all xiaomi features but without the bloat/spyware

Afik, xiaomi.eu doesn't have ota support. Also, I faced mic problem in eu rom. I'm currently using mi globe and it's based on xiaomi.eu but surprisingly doesn't have mic problem.
Also, .eu rom is based on Chinese miui.

OTA does not work on EU roms you would need to install the updates manually. It would not cause any data loss. You can read about this on xiaomi.eu

can someone please explain or point which rom i need to switch?
i am new to this since i move from Samsung to this killer phone.
thnx for help.
I also bought the Mi 9T Pro (EU version) yesterday. Isn't there a way just to find the Xiaomi stock dialer apk somewhere for this phone??
No. Installing the original miui apks doesn't work, they crash. There are two ways to have them - wait for the global official rom to come out at en.miui.com and try to install it without unlocking bootloader, or if it doesn't work out - unlock, install it and leave it like that. I've posted a theme here for the call recording and it's the same problem, actually...

After some long, tedious and pointless email exchange with OnePlus Support they finally said they were sorry for "miscommunication" and advised to raise this as an idea here: https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/
I do not agree this is an idea. There is already a builtin call recording app, this just has to be allowed by default for Poland just like for India.
What you can do with a minimum effort to enable it on the phone:
Get SetEdit App from Play Store
Get jOnePlus Tools
Get ADB as shown here https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/
Run two ADB Commands:
adb shell pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
adb shell pm grant by4a.setedit22 android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
In SetEdit go to Global Table (top right), then find "op_voice_recording_supported_by_mcc", edit the value to 1
Go to jOnePlus Tools, enable call recording
What will you achieve? Now, you can auto record calls in your region through the built-in app.
Will this work after reboot? jOnePlus Tools should keep the recording after the reboot. In case it does not, you can use SetEdit after the reboot to enable the option after the reboot.
Does this need root? No root require.
Linking all threads in this forum about our common dialer problem:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/help/mi-9t-pro-call-recording-t3961106
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/help/mi-9t-pro-problem-t3959150
It might possibly lead to not crash the xiaomi call app, but I think installing the global rom is easier and less risky. Just wait and see... And there will be OTAs with the official global rom.
installed the xiaomi.eu rom
it has xiomi apps (and new one from the quick menu)
it second space is off by defalt
i get twice the battery life (for my usage)
I wonder if this is the reason for the lack of the call recording feature:
https://iapp.org/news/a/how-do-the-rules-on-audio-recording-change-under-the-gdpr/ (summary, it's illegal in Europe to record calls, without the explicit agreement of the other person)
How about searching on APKMirror?

Finally miui 12eu
