Stock official ROM for x522 (snapdragon) - LeEco Le 2 Questions & Answers

I'd like to go back to stock, I'm currently on lineage 15.1. What would be the best method to do so?

Flash this TWRP https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Ig1vJFJgpobVVncTFRbjJKQUk/view
Then make a Clean Flash of the Rom
X526 5.8.19s: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746010030569971880
X522 5.8.21s: https://www.mediafire.com/?6almos553oh0xg6
If you see Error 7 at the end of the installation, restart Recovery and Flash Again,This is how I did it, I hope it helps you

Does it have to be that particular version of twrp? Because I already have one. Also, why did you post one for a x526, my phone is a x522

darkmen10 said:
Yes, that specific one is used to install the Eui Rom Stock, another Twrp will not allow the installation.Post one of X526 because it does not matter if you have the X522 model, you can install Rom of any X52X model , I have the X520 and the roms of X522 and X526 work fine

do you have a link to the rom and can i just flash that in twrp

It is because it is the rom stock. It is the last 21s. But the truth is better that you install an EUI based rom. I recommend this one based on the 5.9.26s that you can flash with the normal twrp without flashing additional things. It works very well since I tried it a while ago

What version of twrp are you using? You must use version 3.2.1.0. With that version I installed that Rom, without errors

Well spotted you flashed it? If so via twrp with full wipe?
What about GAPPS is it 64bit version?
Are we downloading for LEO?
Jeez to many questions, just think someone might mess up.
I'll test and report back.

So I downloaded the EU rom, make sure you download for Leo, installed via TWRP with full wipe as per instructions. To be honest if your from uk no point its still english US not UK, For everyone else yea go for it no problems and Playstore included.
Is there no improvements from 6.5.1.0 version?
Also how do I flash twrp on my phone? Do I need root?
Thanks

Here you go bro :
http://en.miui.com/thread-118114-1-1.html
I just flashed this rom and i can confirm that it works well here in the uk on the ee 4g network no problems for me and very happy with this phone
Are there any instructions on how to install it?
I found TWRP, but need root to install it which i don't have.
Just boot to TWRP first via fasboot by using fastboot boot twrp.img command,
Then flash supersu,
After u got root access, install flashify and flash twrp
Is French included in this ROM? Probably not...
Will my apps be in French anyway or will it go like the UI?
Hi - I tried installing the most recent stable version for the Note Pro (xiaomi.eu_multi_leo_V6.6.3.0.LXHCNCF_v6-5.0) and it was completely unusable. Lots of system processes failing etc. Has everyone else had this experience or am I doing something wrong? I installed initially through TWRP, then also tried through MiRecovery.
Just got the phone and really liking it, but very keen to get it working more like a UK phone! Great to see there's people working on this!!!

It works fine for me in UK, full wipe in TWRP? You said first with TWRP and then Mi, did you reflash original recovery. I always find that after flashing a new rom I have to reflash GAPPS or I get the problems you describe.
I had been unsure if the 'Wipe All' would also scrub the ROM zip file, so did not do this first time.
This time I did wipe everything, which also resulted in the ROM zip file being deleted.
Managed to sideload it and everything is now working! Many thanks for the suggestion. And for future, should I be wiping everything, or is there a way to avoid the sideload?
Thanks

Like I said just reflash google apps no need for full wipe, use TWRP, keep a copy of GAPPS on your phone along with the rom so wiping won't be a problem should you need too.

Flash T815 on T817

How about getting facts correct? There is in fact, T817T, T817W, T817P, T817R4, T817V, T817A.
I have had no luck flashing firmware from the SM-T817W to my SM-T817T. Odin fails at sboot. I have pulled it over to SuperR and tried both stock and custom builds. They both boot loop. I am very new to this. This forum so far has been more than helpful in my quest for knowledge.

You can flash ALL factory firmware images with TWRP. The only one I haven't been able to add is sboot.bin. However you don't need to flash that.
I have tried flashing the images from the md5 file i downloaded but that didnt work. I hate to be a bother but any further advice would be appreciated.
I'm curious what your end goal is....

Thanks for yourr patience and assistance first of all.
I flashed the system.img and boot.img from my tar file using twrp. But when I go to reboot twrp warns me there is no os installed. Sure I am missing a step.
are there any custom roms currently out that can be flashed on the t817t? As long as Wi-Fi works, I can live without lte.

It may be that the T817T has a different system partition size to the T815 which would cause that issue.
It's is possible to adjust the image size which would make it flash.
Might just be easier to flash a custom T815 rom.

Probably. Custom roms flash via update zip in custom recovery.
Just make sure you have twrp for the T815 and make a backup first in case of issues.

U cannot install one ROM over other(like Lineage over AOSP), u have wipe it first then u can install any other ROMs.
If u have installed TWRP then u can Wipe current ROM and install any other
In TWRP go to wipe-->advanced wipe--> select Cache, dalvik cache,Data, and system
wipe these all and flash any other ROM u wanted along with Gapps(if u want to have google play services and playstore etc.,)
Do a backup before wiping ( u can do in TWRP)
Keeping backup must every time u r performing like these for safety

None of the custom roms are booting

Hey everyone! I have a weird problem. I have rooted my Honor 5C NEM-L21 but everytime i try to flash a custom rom it gets bootlooped. I have tried multiple different roms and formatting /data as f2fs , yet have the same problem everytime that i flash a custom ROM. I have as well everytime downgraded the OS back to EMUI 4 and updated the OS to EMUI 5 but it does not help with the problem. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this problem? Thanks

A question from a newbie

First of all i want to make clear that, i am new to this community, so for any inconvenience please forgive me.
I was curious about what will be the safest way to root my Android 11 devices running on MIUI Global 12.5.2 .
i watched a lot of YouTube videos but didn't come up with an answer i am looking for, i got confused a lot some people suggest doing without pc and some with some apps.
I would be glad if someone can explain to me, the best way to root Android device and do's and dont's before and after rooting the device. And how can i prevent my device from:
Getting hard/soft Brick.
Losing Data.
Data encryption.
And the things i should get familiar with before rooting.
Thanks to everyone in advance
