Mi band notification and calls no longer working after update - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Today I installed EMUI 10.0.0.178 following the dload thread and it worked, the phone is functioning in everything but the notification and calls on the mi band 4. I've always used it with no problem with EMUI 9 but now it's not working. It should vibrate and show the caller when the phone is ringing and vibrate and show notification content on the band when a notification arrives but nothing. I already enabled notification access and set the background run management in the app settings to manual. What can I do?
EDIT: I fixed it, I accidentally put it in do not disturb mode, it was just that, this thread can be deleted

Phone ring but incoming call screen doesn't show

I have a XT1095 PE L5.1 latest, everything was fine and suddenly the problem started, when receiving a call phone ring but screen stayed at standby no incoming call shown, I approach my hand to the phone, slide down the lock but also no incoming call screen is shown only the home screen, when I click the phone icon it gives me a white screen with three choices, one of them is return to call in progress only then I can see the incoming call to respond.
I need help, Thanks

Haven't got a solution, but just wanted to say this problem isn't specific to the Moto X; my sister's G3 once had this same problem. Fixed it with a factory reset. So, whatever is wrong, it's the Android or Google Settings. Maybe try disabling "OK Google everywhere" if that's on (shouldn't be if Moto Voice is on).

I know a factory reset will solve the problem but I was trying not to do it, anyway it looks inevitable.
Thanks a lot.

I have the same problem and it solved some minutes ago. It is because of "notification of phone app" that was blocked by some unknown reason.
U can change it in settings > apps > on the menu select "show system apps" > phone > notification.
Hope work for you too.
Thanks

I am not sure about LP 5.1 but I had the similar problem with my XT1092 N7.1, by exploring through the settings, I realised there was no default Phone App set on the phone.
You can solve this by simply going to Settings > Apps > Configure apps > Phone app > Set your default Phone app
I hope this helps.

Thanks! Mine was blocked because I installed a root Notification blocker and forgot to whitelist the "Phone" app.

Wake screen when receive notifications

Hi, I've just updated to Pie yesterday and found my phone does not wake the screen when I receive notifications. It could back then in Orea. The problem exists despite having the option on in setting. I also did factory reset just now and the problem is still there. Any idea?
Here it's normal as always.
Really strange

Redmi K20 Pro Lock Screen Notification

So I purchased the new REDMI K20 Pro last week after going through a lot of reviews online. I love the phone and coming from a former Oneplus user is something. However I am having a certain issue regarding the Lock Screen Notification and I am at my wits end to resolve this.
Ever since I have purchased and setup the phone, I have been having some problems with my Lock Screen Notifications. The phone screen automatically lights up whenever I receive any notifications like whatsapp or gmail. This is awfully irritating as often I am driving or in meetings and it distracts me constantly. I have tried everything, tried looking into the phone settings and checking the notification settings but I can't get the phone to stop lighting up. On my Oneplus, I would receive the notification, the phone would buzz and the notification would appear on the lock screen but the screen wouldn't light up.
Is there a way to stop this? Am I missing something? Please help!

Pixel 4xl No Notification Sound

Hi All, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this on a Pixel 4 or 4XL? I have a Verizon 4XL and my notifications keep going silent and will only vibrate. I have to reboot the phone or adjust the ring volume for it to come back and it's still only temporary. I do not have any DND settings set for certain times or locations either. I started noticing it right before I did the latest November security updates.
Any idea? I do not really want to factory reset it.
My Pixel 4XL seems to be doing the same thing. Mine is unlocked from Google on Sprint. Same as you a reboot fixes it for a while.
Anyone else?
re choose sound in notification settings, and I guess u must have a clean tools in use often.
Mine is doing the same thing. About to contact support. It will work for a while then go silent. I do not have any do not disturb mode enabled. I reboot and it starts working again. That is the only thing that fixes it. I do not have to change a setting, just reboot and all notification sounds are back. Otherwise it just vibrates, even phone ring.

LED notification light not working

Hi,
Any idea why notification led not working for apps like Google sms app and many other apps. Is it related to Android 10 or is it specific to Rog 3 ?
Regards,
I have the same problem. LED notifications on back only work in certain applications, such as sms. In massanger from facebook it is so that when the notification comes, the first time the LED on the back does not flash. however, when I wake up the screen and lock it immediately in such a way that I will not read the notification, only then the back LED blinks.
any ideas?
