If i do that my phone will be blocked as soon as i turn
on my device because in my country you can't use phones from other countries directly you have to register them to the network but it cost almost a new phone so you take an imei of an old phone and paste it the new one because older one's imei has already been registered to the system but you need a box to make it and i don't have the box i need to go out to fix it in a local phone store but the virus scares me.i know It is so much complicated.
Also i tried your method as my phone is rooted there are only 4 sub options under call. You have to root the phone to make an imei repair.

This app lets you lock 5G/LTE/4G/3G/2G bands on most Samsung phones running the latest One UI software (no root required!):

That's the problem. Your csc seems to be verizon but the baseband belongs to sprint. Have you tried smart switch?. Assuming your phone isn't refurbished(since you said the imei belongs to s6), ss will decide which is suitable for your phone.

Any option to enable native call recording without root on note 8
Not possible if you have a locked bootloader.
If your bootloader is unlocked you should be ok I did it before added the South Korean CSC on my Canadian phone .
Now if the bootloader is locked we need someone to take the Odin csc extract it add the recording line permission for all the CSCs and make sure to repack and resign it same as it was ( and good luck with that, no one sadly is interested because all what they think about is root "while some jobs wont allow you to root your phone" )

It may have been on yours but that doesn't mean all Note 8s have it enabled by default. It depends on the phone's original region as well as carrier. Tbe same model from a different region won't necessarily have the same features enabled.
Carriers have different enabled options that may be specific to them. If you get an unlocked (sim) version from Samsung in the US, you can use it on any US carrier but it will be missing carrier specific features. US sim unlocked version will actually have less features enabled.
I have a N950F from the UK. It did not originally have native call recording enabled either while other N950Fs do, but I do have it now.

Sorry to get your hopes up....
I have an Exynos, TWRP installed & rooted. After I installed Kalm_Traveler's modified TMO transformation mod it was turned on along with other tmobile features.
But the cscfeature that turns it on is:
<CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording>RecordingAllowed</CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording>
In my case it's in others.xml. You would need root to add that line.

You would have to pull the file, edit it with the line, then send it back. I'm not for sure but I believe you would still need root to perform this.

Should work actually. Don't forget the CSC.
I understand this doesn't help out the question you asked but just wanted to throw some info out there. In the US to legally record a call you must have some sort of clearly audible noise repeat every 15 seconds such as a beep or tell the other party ahead of time you plan to record. If you use a service such as Google Voice that isn't truly a "phone call" since it uses data these laws do not apply.

Getting the Unlock Code for Bootloader (HOW TO)

Hey guys,
After spending 4 hours trying to get the unlock code for the BTV-W09, including email and calling Huawei, I was able to do it.
Even though Huawei said that it cannot be done on the US model, it CAN.
You must use the chinese site https://emui.huawei.com/cn/plugin/unlock/detail.
The site will most likely not open for you, but i set my VPN to a china location and BAM, it works.
I was able to get the code first time.
*** If your getting the error for wrong information, make sure your tablet is running EMUI 4.1***
If not do this:
1. Verify your on EMUI 5.0, if not upgrade using built in tablet updater app.
2. Then flash http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=94469&version=380487&siteCode=ru
3. Once it reboots flash http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=94471&version=380540&siteCode=ru
4. Once it reboots and you finish the setup try getting the product code through Calculator by entering "()()1357946()()=" (must be in landscape mode)
Damn I wish I saw this yesterday before I spent hours trying to figure this out. In the end, I paid $4 for DC Unlocker. It worked.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi
when i filled the information at chinese webpage. it still tell me the data is not corret.
would you help me? how get the correct information from mediapad m3 ?
my tablet is wifi version.
Model: BTV-W09

product id : open calculator and enter ()()1357946()()=. An 8-digit ID will appear
i dont know which step i wrong..
Hi,
Could someone with Chinese VPN access help me out with getting my unlock code:
Model: BTV-W09
Serial: 28D6R17A21001753
Product ID: 75710544
I got the expected "check your information" problems on non-cn site, and N.A. support says that they won't give a code due to warranty issues.
BTW if it helps anyone, I found using downloading "PixelPhone Dialer & Contacts" seemed to be the only way to get to my Product ID (Dial *#*#1357946#*#*) since there is no ( or ) keys on my pre-installed calculator app.
Thanks
Turn your tablet into landscape mode to get ( ()) on the installed calculator

You must have EMUI 4.1 installed. I had to downgrade it to get it to work.
I know this will sound crazy but the only way I got it to work was with EMUI 4.1.
I literally upgraded to EMUI 5.0, with the updater app in tablet.
Then flashed http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=94469&version=380487&siteCode=ru
Once it rebooted I flashed http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=94471&version=380540&siteCode=ru
That got me to EMUI 4.1 and gave me a different product code.

Which version of DC Unlocker did you use? When I try to use it it keeps saying phone not found.
Where did you get the drivers for the tablet? Maybe I don't have the correct version.
My computer sees the ports but not the modem because it's wifi only.
Any help would greatly appreciated.

File Request - N960U1UEU1CSB3 (VZW)

Hey guys, does anyone have a copy of this file that they can share? I flashed to the SM-N960U1 pie update last night and lost VoLTE and WiFi calling on Verizon. I'm a little rusty with Samsung's (been a few years) so I guess I made a rookie mistake.
If I'm not mistaken, I really only need the CSC file but this is the only place I've been able to find the software that references Verizon directly:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-note9/SM-N960U1/VZW/download/N960U1UEU1CSB3/260802/
I'm trying to download it now but so far it's been running over and hour and its stuck at only 31.58 MB of nearly 4GB.
If someone has this file and could share it, I'd much appreciate. Or if I'm downloading the wrong file, please point me in the right direction. I need Verizon fully working on Android 9 with the SM-N960U1 firmware. Thanks!
Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
Upon closer review, I think I'm already on this software. So I'm not really sure what I need to flash? I can I flash a CSC from a SM-N960U (without the 1)?

try to use samfirm tool 0.3.6 to dl it. no idea if the version of the firmware you want would be available but just flashing the home_csc.md5 of any recent pie version of a U firmware shouldn't matter.
also since you want a csc that is on a different firmware( ure on U1 but ure desired csc is U) phone model, ull have to probably flash it using the patched B version of odin 3.13.x

Thanks but I can't get that tool to work. The original thread says to use updato now, which doesn't have any Verizon specific files (unless they're calling it something else).

I was finally able to download the firmware from sammobile and it turns out that it didn't help me at all. It seemingly made no change to my software.
Since it's nearly midnight on Sunday and I have to work tomorrow (I get no signal at work - wifi only) I decided to flash a CSC from an old 8.1 Verizon odin file I had saved to my PC. Wifi calling is back and none of the Verizon bloatware!! I'm glad that worked or I'd have been switching to the backup phone.

Hello could you please link me a copy of your csc file? Also is there a way to get video calling on the native phone app too? Thanks

I think I'm on the latest official Verizon firmware now. Try this one:
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note9/firmware/SM-N960U/VZW/download/N960USQS1CSD1/266832/
I can't get native video calling working on Verizon. And for some reason Wifi calling is super buggy. Texting always works but calls go straight to VM. If I try to call out, it tells me to enable WiFi calling. I go to the settings, turn it on and I can call out. Go back to settings after the call and its turned back off again so new calls go straight to VM.

Convert Korean S10 to International

Hi,
I got a Samsung Galaxy S10 Exynos (SM-G973N), a Korean version. I am not in Korea and don't have Korean SIM so I can't use the phone (SIM card are not recognized).
I need some help to convert it to an international version, preferably an Android 11 version if possible. Current baseband is G973NKOU6FUF3.
Regards.
Hi, did you try to flash the firmware from your country/region? Just download the firmware with Frija if you are on Windows or samload if you are using Linux/Mac and flash with Odin. It's worth a try, cause the phone is basically the same of your country. Obviously since you are flashing a different region, you have to use CSC_OXM_XXXX and not the HOME_CSC_XXXXX. if it sounds confusing you can look at this topic here. Remember to use Smart Switch to backup all your files and apps.
Hi @Cobmaster, No I am actually worried about which firmware to download. The phone is originally from Korea. I don't want the Korean version, as it comes with apps and pre-loaded content in Korean. I would like a more global version. Can I use one from another country like the UK?
Thank you for your help. I used Frija to download the SKC and KOO firmwares.
Ps: For this model there are only Korean different Korean firmwares.
@koutei . I think you can safely download a UK or whatever you prefer, no problem at all.

It's weird. I need more info. Are you using a virtual machine? Which version of Windows? Are you using the stock cable?

No VM. Windows 10. No, I am not because it jiggles and disconnects the phone.
Hi, did you managed to accomplish this? I've searched for days and tried several methods to no avail. I'm starting to think that it is not achievable. If any expert would confirm this, I guess I will abandon the idea . Thanks in advance
I'm also searching did you succeed this convert?
I have G970N (s10e korea) want convert international G970F firmware.

I found a reply from a user "billa" on another thread while searching for a way to flash a Global USA Note10+ from an AT&T carrier Note 10+ (Which was successfully done). Below was his/her reply. (I edited the first paragraph and included the modded Odin sourced from a YouTube video.)
You will need to use modded/patched Odin that has the model-ID and SHA hash check disabled, therefore allowing you to flash an unbranded "U1" firmware onto a branded "U" phone and vice versa.
As of now this works on most US Qualcom (QC) models, but an increasing number of international Exynos (EX) models now include a new RMM security which prevents this kind of cross-flashing unless you first disable the RMM, by flashing an RMM-Disabler package through TWRP.
Hope this helps!
