ROM or magisk module for low light lens? - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

Is there a rom or magisk module that fixes low light lens? It sets ISO to 100 and underexposes everything (only when recording video). It cannot be a hardware limitation because I can use 1600 ISO in manual mode, but manual video is almost impossible without studio lights. I record video in low light without noise reduction but main camera produces lots of grain, so I need low light one. I tried stock rom, AISP and miui but all of them have the issue.
Can anyone suggest me a rom, magisk module, modified camera libs or anything that fixes the issue?
Edit: I just tried pixel experience. Is has same bug too.

Camera Temp Fix Issue

So i updated to the my tilt to Duttys Apr 1st rom, and since then, my camera is very slow on the FPS. I reinstalled the Camera 5.0.4.2915 fix, but no luck. So in reading, i found that if i turned on the camera, then hit the power button, then placed my hand over the camera lense, then hit the power button, i get much better FPS. But after i turn off the camera, the FPS goes back to very poor (so where everything is blurry). Does anyone have any ideas for a fix for this?
Thanks
This has been around for ages. All it does is stop the cameras light meter working, so it is locked to one exposure. It means you might get a dark picture, rather than a blurry one.
I wonder if the root of the problem is that the camera doesn't support a variable ISO speed? On my k750i, as it got darker the camera boosted the ISO resulting in grainier (but lighter) images. Looks like the our TYTN IIs might be locked to a single ISO speed, with only adjustments to the exposure time being made to compensate for darkness.

Dark video recording on 4.4.2 possible fix

Hello!
As many of you have noticed, after updating to 4.4.1 and 4.4.2, a recorded video with stock camera is a lot darker than it was on 4.4. It was done probably to increase framerate at night, but crippled low-light video capability. I have noticed that Camera MX by MAGIX allows recording video with lower framerate in low light, but a lot brighter, almost like it was on 4.4, and in full HD resolution.
Below are two samples
Notice higher framerate but darker image.
Notice lower framerate but brighter image.
Nice find, the 4.4.2 update made the video recording in low light unusable for me really , way to dark

Definitely not a camera sensor issue, since I know and have seen how MY nexus 5 stock camera shot video in low light on 4.4 and how badly it does now on 4.4.2. I reverted back to 4.4 and video in low light is brighter.
There's another repeatable glitch. When switching to Panorama mode in stock camera (not photosphere, panorama) and then to Video recording mode, the image in the viewfinder becomes brighter and stretched, and when you press Record, it reverts to dark video.
Same thing I noticed.
The camera software needs a fix,so as immersive mode bugs.

Stock Camera HDR Brightness Settings

I have my One since some time and I'm quiet happy with it. Only the HDR camera mode drives me crazy. Maybe some of you have already noticed that once the (stock) camera app is put to HDR mode it increases the overall brightness of the picture. I hate that cause it makes most HDR pictures too bright and I do have to manually find a really bright spot so the camera lowers the brightness again(and then fix ae and af(which is blocking a refocus...)). Now since I'm quiet sure someone already tried to modify the stock camera app(4.4.2 Sense6) I would like to know wether it's possible to lower the brightness or even turn this modification of without completely recompiling the camera app. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Image quality CM based roms

Hello!
Does somebody know if the overall camera quality drops when using a non Miui rom? Can't just try because there isn't stable Internet around here.
Thanks
Nope, as long as you adjust the parameters to the best. By default, image quality in CM camera is set to 85% (just raise to 100%), zero shutter lag is on (could probably cause blurry image, especially in low light, turn it off).

4k 60fps camera flickering.

I've had the phone for a few days now and overall I'm very pleased with it yet I have one issue. The camera when recording at 60fps at any resolution has crazy flicker. I can record at any resolution at 30fps and it's fine.
I've tried other camera apps on the store but none seem to be able to record at 60fps, open camera for example, won't record at 60fps even when I set it, just records at 30fps.
I'm using the latest eu rom with included camera.
Would appreciate some help, thanks.
Might be an issue with the sensor on your phone. I don't have any flicker with any setting at 4K 60fps.

I just tested my camera - it has no flickering with [email protected]
Whatever modifications that you have made to your phone must be responsible.

I think you're probably correct. Tried it again today and it's working beautifully, I've made no changes or installed anything since yesterday.
Only setting I've disabled since testing was deep process clean, re enabled this to test and it's still working.
Hopefully it will remain working, hard to go back to 30fps video after seeing 4k 60fps.
Ok, so I'm able to replicate the problem.
It's a certain light bulb in my living room that's causing this, it's a 72led corn cob low wattage bulb. Only occurs in low natural light.
Went all through the house at night with the lights on as well as the front and rear gardens and no flicker, only occurs if I have that specific light turned on during the evening in my living room, how odd!
To the naked eye this bulb does not flicker but for some reason makes the phone camera go nuts.
I'll have to check the Hz rating of the bulb.
