Tried to install, but it is stuck at the boot screen. Coming from Lineage 17. I've the firmware installed from that ROM page. Should I install it again or is there a new firmware available?
UPDATE: So, I tried this.

Mm.. yeah as I said you should be on latest firmware and it is always better to flash firmware if you're changing roms. and yes you also need to be on the latest twrp. Glad that it booted for you. No one reported me yet on telegram device group though

Kudos to you Developers for making HAM alive all through these years. ?????????
Performance, battery life, and Customization is there. But coming from PixelExperience 9.0 rom, WiFi connectivity have some issues. Like photo or video loading takes time to load in Instagram, 9gag, and even fb Messenger. also, streaming high resolution (1080p or 720p) content from WEB or youtube is not smooth. it is always buffering, yet from PixelExperience or AOSP rom i didn't experience those problem.
Speaking of YouTube, i have tried installing YouTube Vanced 15 using recommended installation. Disable apk verification using smiley face and using SIA, it always failed. When trying the Youtube Vanced 14 magisk module and flashing it with magisk it works. but sometimes the app force closed or background playback always causes the device to lock itself.
maybe you can fix those for the next update,
Again thank you developer ?

Ham is really old device, I get that you're expecting performance but there is no room for improvment from what I see, even though I'll try to see if something I can do considering this is my secondary device and talking about youtube vanced, I don't use it but I've heard that it's compaitibility have decreased wtih A10 so can't help much there. ZUK Z1 ftw, still alive xD

Works Great Now!

I take it back, all seems to work fine. The magisk build from the Lineage 17 page causes the slowdown.
Thanks anyway ?

Sometimes it looks like a semitransparent older Screen is overlaying my screen witch I want to see , than I need to restart the Application, for that to work normal
It is not possible to take screenshots of that
Is that only my problem, or others have that to?

What about app scaling? Seems like a lot of apps have a black bar on the bottom. Is there a way to get rid of this and scale the app to 18:9?
I have a question about settings/features. The attached screens it's are from crdroid on my OP5T. Are these things available on s9?

ROM in early development stage, released just for pie preview. needs testing
Awesome! Thanks for this!
Edit: Is it recommended to be on August or September build?
Sweet! Want to give this a shot, but I am a bit unsure how to flash gapps with it. I searched the other build's forum, and couldn't see on it either. Do I flash build, boot, then flash gapps, like on other A/B devices? Or do I just flash gapps at ROM installation?
Is TWRP built in?
Does this use an EAS kernel?
So I attempted to flash, but I am getting the error stating I am using an incorrect version gapps. States I am running 8.1, not 9. Anyone else have any ideas?
EDIT: I was able to modify the installer sh to force it to install, but every copy of gapps prompts and states there is not enough space in the system partition.

Have you tried installing the smallest gapps package? I had this same issue on another device.
Gapps screws up sometimes. Try remounting system and vendor while in twrp, reboot recovery then try flashing gapps again. I bet it works.

I just flash the hyp.mbn from August before booting to recovery, then after installing whatever, go back to bootloader and flash the sept hyp.mbn.. just that file is all u need. Just be sure to reflash the current hyp file or any build based on sept wont work and vice versa.
flashed the 0930 build, bluetooth is broken.
Display setting - Full screen apps is in there, but i open or close the option, it seems doesn't work.. (i test it in my games
The screen became rounded corners, can this be a option for users? or it can be off by default?

I already removed rounded corners in the upcoming build. Also it's stated in second post that it's early development stage, so don't expect everything to work properly. It's still experimental and we don't even have official lineage sources for mata. So thanks to @KuranKaname for his work
That full screen apps feature is lineage stuff. I already did what I could to add it on mata. From the comments on gerrit we can read:
I don't have an exact example app in mind but >=O apps can still manually limit maxAspectRatio to lower values like 1.86 or 2.1 (which could be obsolete for future long long screens). (It is not you are >= O so you are good with long screens)

i) <O apps that previously needed the max aspect ratio setting to 2.1 to work in full screen. eg https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.telltalegames.batman200

Dirty Unicorns Semi GSI for Samsung Devices
By CodeFox & OpenSauce9810
I'm no longer maintaining this thread, check the note 9 thread here for latest updates
What is this?
This is a Semi Generic System Image. That means it's a generic system image that's been optimized as much as possible for our Samsung Devices.
How the heck do I flash this?
It's slightly different than flashing a zip, so here's what you need to do.
Download the image file
Flash Endurance GSI Kernel in TWRP
Flash BRJ6 Vendor
Flash the System Image to your System Partition
Optional if you want root (but reccomended): Reboot to recovery again then flash your choice of Magisk. I use 17.1 as I can get galaxy wear to work with that version.
Reboot your device and you should be good to go! No need to flash gapps as they're included.
03.12.2018
Initial Release
05.12.2018
Updated sources to 9.0 r21 release. (December Security Patch)

Bootanimation changed to reduce boot times
Tweaks to ambient play ticker so it clears when you clear media notifications
Further performance tweaks thanks to @malinathani animations transition smoother now.
06.12.2018
PHH Settings Removed.
Dual Speaker permanently integrated, will always persist and no longer needs to be activated.
Enhanced brightness ranges permanently integrated.

You need to install GAPPS 9.0 after rebooting into recovery following install of system image. This should be mentioned in the instructions.
Then you will get the usual install section after boot up and the usual google apps etc. I used GAPPS 9.0 nano.
All working well on my S9+.

Best rom atm! Perfect to set it up just the way you want it without bloat apps.
Just had to change Product.model to pixel xl in build props to get higher quality on Facebook vids.
Anyways, New daily for me. Thank you. ?
I can't flash the system image . Why is it ending in .xz ?
Its a compressed file, I just used 7zip to extract it.

which camera you're using on this ROM?
Didn't work for me, had two issues:
-Internal Data not being seen
- No network connection
- Says not to flash gapps, but it is needed as nothing is installed.
For me now, this isn't a usable ROM.

Fingerprint in 3rd-party-apps
Hello @All,
i installed this good rom on my G965F and everything is working - BIG thx @devs...
I have only one question/issue: With my registered fingerprint i can unlock the screen - this works perfect, but in 3rd-party-apps i get an error with fingerprint and i cant use my fingerprint in these apps (e.g. banking app). Anyone know how to use my fingerprint in 3rd-party-apps? This is not working on all Pie-(s)GSI, not only on DU...

Why the hell would anyone want this firmware when we have aex already, where everything works quite well? Make your own pixel experience by downloading apps out of play store
Btw, is google camera included? And which one?

you have drain because you didn't flash proper vendor and baseband. Try this: https://zukfans.eu/community/threads/vendor-treble-support-for-zuk-z2-pro.8014/ forget about number 1 and 3.
And AEX is totally fine, no bugs, still on it since a week. Battery is a charm. I see no point in encouraging people to reinvent the wheel, especially when it's so untested and appears to be not quite cicrle-like.

This is exactly what I did:
Flash zui 1.9 with qfil and update OTA to latest one (4.0)
Unlock bootloader, flash TWRP
Install factory2vendor.zip
Reboot to recovery
Full wipe
Flash ROM
Flash GAPPS
Wipe cache & dalvik
Reboot.
Everything is working fine but im still having drain while charging.

Same here. Looks like it has to deal with /vendor/etc/thermal-engine.conf file, still researching. I had an issue it was charging crazuly slow (0.45A) while playing pubg then I've applied some lines (regarding battery charge only) from this fix - https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum....-cpu-throttling-charging-gaming-t3650705/amp/ and it started charging at 2a. Yet it's a hacky thing not sure is a proper way.

I've been daily driving this for about a week and was waiting for a thread to post in. I haven't tried any of the other A12 roms, so I can't compare, but this is bonkers good straight out the gate. I came from crDroid 7.14.
I had no problem flashing, I installed Nikgapps A12 version from here and did the obligatory factory reset.
It's got all the customisation features I love about crDroid including Pulse - YAY! Safetynet passes straight out the box.
I got Magisk zygisk installed with safetynet fix 2.2.1 from here banking apps all work so far and safetynet passes while rooted.
Viper installed - selinux enforcing
Oneplus camera included
I'm not a power user by any means, I don't use g-pay and I don't care about autobrightness, but so far this seems to work just as well as crDroid 7 for my needs.
Thank you so much - what amazing Devs!!

Beta ofc. It's too early for any A12 ROMs to be stable right now especially when OOS 12 isn't out as stable for the 8 series

I'm on AICP 11 now. Do I need to go back to OOS before I flash this?
Thanks

I'm on aicp 11 too. Curious about this. I've seen aicp folks merge stuff from OnePlus firmware too. Not too sure though

@nijohnson @slayerjain Well the safest option is to restore back to OOS 11 using msm or try this
Do the installation method
When done, go to recovery mode and factory reset (wiping is a MUST if coming from another ROM, it's not required if you're updating)
Reboot to system
Hi, does this rom have stock camera?
Installed. Works pretty well, other than the refresh doesn't go above 60 unless you force it to do so (which isn't great for battery) and I'd like to see the ability to set refresh per app as well. I can understand no face unlock as it's just not at all secure. It's a picture.
Did try with NickGApps, but Assistant didn't work at all so now using MTG (which just got updated).
Also can anyone confirm if this ROM can be used with TWRP even if I use the TWRP sideload feature? I'd like to be able to install zips without a computer.
Edit: it doesn't force 120, the refresh goes down again eventually. Also it should be mentioned the A12 animations aren't quite correct though that's extreme nitpicking. Overall great.

I don't really have any context from OOS so I can't say. It takes pictures and all the modes seem to work.
I want to try this ROM but I'm told it doesn't work for Verizon OP8Pro phones. It won't recognize the sim card. Any hope for a fix to this? Paranoid Android is the only 12 rom that works currently.

I run my phone constantly at 120Hz on AICP ROM and fine with the battery life. Eagerly waiting for 120Hz on this ROM too before flashing
