My Pixel 4 XL runs considerably warmer than my previous 7 Pro - Google Pixel 4 XL Questions & Answers

I have them here side by side and the Pixel 4 XL gets like 8-9 degrees celsius warmer than the 7 Pro with normal use
The 4 XL is at around 29 degrees celsius when idle (battery temp), and then it gets to 38 degrees celsiuswith normal use
The 7 Pro is at around 26 degrees celsius when idle and then it gets to 31 degrees celsius.
Yesterday I received the 4 XL and apart that it takes the best pictures I've ever seen on a phone, it's a little bit uncomfortable to use because it gets warm when using it normally
And yesterday I was uploading a file through WeTransfer and I got this overheat notification/warning.
The ambien temperature here is like 26 degrees celsius
Don't you find it uncomfortable?

Had the device since release. Not once have I ever seen an overheat warning. I've charged it whilst using. I've played heavy games.. I run about 26-30c ambient.
If your device is overheating and you get the notification then clearly your device is defected as the device itself should cool itself/throttle down as your temps rise.

What are your temps on your device?

Hi,
so very recently I got the Samsung S10e. Unfortunately as I am european it is the Exynos variation (rip me). I actually wouldn't mind the less performance but I immediately noticed that my device gets notably warm/hot with low load. For example upon first boot the device updated a few apps and it already got warm. I installed AnTuTu Benchmark to see what the temps are at. After a samsung patch (around 780 MB) it got to 38 degrees celsius for battery and 63 degrees on CPU.
I also run the 15min stress test from AnTuTu and the temps went up to 39 degrees for the battery and 69 degrees for the cpu. For example my old phone (snapdragon 835) was at 40 degrees on battery and almost stable 38ish degrees for cpu.
Could you run the AnTuTu stress test as well? I would really like to know how other exynos and snapdragon models are performing temperature wise. Thank your for helping.
My snapdragon runs between 29C to 37C when running. 37C is when plugged in to charger. It runs warmer than my note9 did.

Battery temperature problem

I bought a xiaomi mi 9 phone a few days ago, I found on the internet that the battery in the phone should reach low temperatures. I would like you to check if they are normal.
When playing not only demanding games, the battery quickly reaches a temperature of about 38 degrees Celsius.
During normal internet browsing, the battery reaches about 36 degrees.
While watching Youtube the battery reaches 33 degrees.
Sometimes these temperatures are lower. I care about the assessment because I want to finally take care of the phone. Thank you for your help and sorry for poor english.
If you want our opinions on whether those temperatures are acceptable or not, you have to also share the ambient temperature.
38 C should be normal for 23-24C ambient, don't be fooled by some supposedly "light" games that are badly optimized and eat the battery alive causing heating, just because a game is 2D doesn't mean it consumes less battery.
36 C for "normal internet browsing" seems too much, I get way less at 23-24 ambient, not more than 30 C.
33 C for youtube is fine especially if the videos are bright with sound turned on.
The ambient temperature is about 22-23 degrees, maybe a little more. Unfortunately I don't have a thermometer inside the house. Now while browsing the internet, the temperature was between 31.5-32 degrees.
Usually the screen brightness is set to half the bar or slightly more than half.
Are you sure your battery have this temperatures? Sounds like the cpu for me instead.

I am 100% sure. Are these temperatures good or should I give my phone back for warranty?
I will add that I always charge the phone from 30% to 85%, apparently so there are less charging cycles.
When charging, the battery reaches a temperature of 36-37 degrees.
I never charge it at night. When I was sleeping, the battery level dropped from 30% to 26%, that's ok, right?

I found the characteristics at the link:

Temperatures look similar, how do you rate my temperatures? Should I care?
Edit:
Could any of you do a stress test from antutu? I put my results below. Next to it is the battery temperature right after the test, which reaches almost 40 degrees Celsius. I will add that I have a case from xiaomi.

K20 pro getting hott !!!! (In India)

Hey guys I live in Mumbai with temperature of around 31 to 33 degrees..now when I first pick up the phone the internal temps show around 36 - 37 degrees..but if I use the phone for about 5- 10 mins. For browsing etc it shoots up to 40 degrees and warm to hold..but if I use gcam or play call of duty it becomes very hot to the touch and internal temps reach 47 to 48 c ....I am not sure if this is normal behaviour or should I ask for replacement? It is my first time with a processor anywhere close to flagship so I'm not sure..I'm on stock India ROM and checking temps with Aida and cpuz thanks in advance..
How are you measuring the soc temps?

Rog phone 3 overheating?

Hi,
I noticed that my phone's system temperature while using bypass charging and gaming is around 35 to 42 degrees and 30 to 35 degrees when idle. i reckon heat is the greatest enemy of the phone's durability
. Don't you think this is a bad sign for my phone?
It is actually a very low temperature... I never saw a phone that cool with such power inside. I get it as well without Bypass charging. All the premium phones I had was running hitter than that with a place on the back very hot.

Charging Pixel 5 in a Hot country

I live in a country where temperatures in the summer range from 41 to 43 c.
When the battery temperature reaches 37–38°C, my Pixel 5 starts charging at 5 Watt, and it takes about 3 hours to complete full charge.
However, if I put my phone in the fridge and cool it to 27–28°C, it charges at 14–15 watts.
Is it possible to increase the slow charging restriction from 38 to 42 / 43 degrees? I have root and magisk installed with stock rom.
My Pixel 4A and Oneplus 8T both continued to charge for 15–18 W and 60-65 watt even when they were at 38–41C.
I don't have air-conditioning in room most of the time I'm charging.

This is a safety feature; overcharging hot batteries is a fire risk. I do not recommend trying to change this. Use a fan or something to help your phone dissipate heat while charging.
From what I've read about Pixel 5 it seems a little extra heat is common, and that its 765G is throttled to keep it under control. Mine gets hot during rapid charge but not so much during trickle phases. The phone is hot when using the camera and Gcam crashes a lot, which may be heat related but I'm not sure about that since everything else runs ok. I use a TPU case and think about no case at all or getting something thinner that breathes better.
