Weird icon situation, take a stab at helping me?

Used Samsung's Themes to change Theme and Icons on TouchWiz Launcher (TWL). I installed Google Now Launcher (GNL) and noticed that it was used the themed icons, not stock Nougat, which kind of makes sense since I assume it does a full system icon overwrite, not just on the launcher. I found a good stock nougat pack and installed (all in Themes), but it didn't change GNL's icons. This also makes sense, since Themes should only work with TW Launcher. However, then why did the previous theme's icons appear in GNL?
When I change themes, it does not change icons in GNL, only TWL. I tried uninstalled GNL and changing themes/icons, then seeing if GNL would respond but it didn't. Any clue how I could get this to work? I've done a bit of force-closing, rebooting, app data clearing, but to no avail.
Alternatively, can someone recommend a flashable Nougat icon pack that will system-wide change the app icon?
Oh it looks like new apps are installed with the relevant icon. Wonder if I could clear the icon cache or something without dumping my entire cache.
Every Launcher have their own icons pack and these icons just for the default applications come with the rom instead of all the 3rd applications were installed into the rom. Samsung Theme just work with TW Launcher only, and if you have GNL been install on your device then find some Nougat icons pack for GNL on Play Store.
Example: I'm using Elegance UI Icons pack (on Play Store) for my Huawei Y6 with Theme engine and all work just fine here with all default icons look like Nougat icons.

GNL does not support icon theming, so the icons should not have been themed at all, but there were. Samsung does not follow Android standards and practices, there are many inherent issues to TouchWiz. One of them is in Theming. I found my exact issue and its resolution here. I just went into display and changed the rendered resolution then reverted it and my icons were changed. I'm not surprised that Samsung have not fixed it two version later.

Q: How to change Oreo rounded icons on mate 10 Pro?

I am using p20 Pro icons on my mate 10 Pro. But lots of app shapes are rounded. I think its about android Oreo. Is there any way to change their icon shapes like emui stock mask?
Sorry for my English.
emui-theme-editor. you can change a lot of things, but you need to download and start using a theme downloaded, not installed. I use it on my mate 10 pro and it's fantastic ?

I already have it. I just want to change third party software icons. Because i love so much this P20 stock icons. So when i change the icons for example Whatsapp, İnstagram, Twitter, PLay Store etc. I have to import them any another iconpack which i already installed. This time icon sizes are different from stock. bigger or smaller
I know, but you can change the dimension in the app ?

You can use 3 apps from playstore:
- Huawei themes (a themes gallery)
- Themes for Honor & Huawei (another themes gallery)
- Theme editor (and you can create an .hwt icon pack with any icon pack on the playstore)

can you link theme editor?
I have installed this one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=emui.en.com.gpix2
It works with dark mode and it looks enough like stock to make me happy.
Thanks for linking.
The Theme-App automatically closes as soon as it is started on my P30 Pro (EMUI 9.1.0.136).
Any ideas?

[Guide]Dark mode P Smart EMUI 9.1 (no root)

Hi, all
One of the things I missed from EMUI 8 was a good dark theme for EMUI 9.1. Now, finally, it is possible using just two things: Nightlike theme by dragandroid for EMUI 9.1 and Dark Mode app, both are free and root isn't needed.
Simply download and install the theme using this link (it requires the free app Themes Manager):
https://themesmanager.app/links/7eSJ
It will download and copy the theme to the right folder, then you must use the built-in EMUI Themes app to apply it. Then install Dark Mode app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=systems.maju.darkmode
Open the app to enable Night Mode or Auto (I am not sure it works in Auto mode tho, I have just installed it but I do hope it works as the manul Night Mode does), then restart the phone. If you have any issues, make sure you read the theme description info.
The Dark Mode app enables the dark theme in some apps that rely on system settings, like Play Store, it works perfectly. The only (minor) side effect I've seen so far is that the status bar/navigation icons aren't visible in the system apps like Settings, due to Huawei limitations as the author says, but it works if you tap or swipe.
PS: In my screenshots I am using Nova launcher, which also has an auto dark mode (recommended!), and navigation gestures (no nav bar).
Enjoy
