Google Apps Device Policy for Android application enforces policies on your Android device that protect it should it get lost or stolen. Once you install this application on your Android, your administrator can set up security measures such as password protection so only you can sign in. And the device can be wiped remotely if you lose it.
Uninstall Google Apps Device Policy
There are two ways to uninstall Google Apps Device Policy. The easisest is to unregister all accounts associated with the Device Policy app and then uninstall the app. To do this, follow these steps:
On your Android device, open the Device Policy app and press Unregister on the Status screen for each account you have registered with the device.
Exit the Device Policy app and on your Android, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and select the Device Policy app.
Press Uninstall and OK to remove the application.
Alternatively, you can uninstall Google Apps Device Policy by following these steps:
On your Android device, go to Settings > Security.
Press Select device administrators.
Uncheck Google Apps Device Policy.
Press Deactivate and OK.
Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and select the Device Policy app.
Press Uninstall and OK to remove the application.
If your Google Apps administrator is enforcing device policies on your device, when you uninstall Device Policy, your device will stop syncing with your Google Apps account.

Android Device Manager

Here is how to get your Gear to appear in Android Device Manager (null_ rom only)
You'll need to have setup Google account on Gear and tick to show in menus via PlayStore on web(https://play.google.com/settings)
1. Open Google Settings
2. Select Android Device Manager
3. Uncheck 'Allow remote factory reset'
4. Go to main Settings menu, then select Apps > All > Google Play services
5. Select 'Clear Data' button. Note that this action doesn't remove personal data
6. Go back to Google Settings and select 'Allow remote factory reset'
7. Restart
You won't get location obviously, but the rest works

CN version: "There is a problem parsing the package" solution?

I'm sure some of you have seen this error: "There is a problem parsing the package" when trying to install an APK.
I have the Chinese [CN] variant of this phone running Realme UI.
I get this error with ALL apk packages. Can someone help me solve this conundrum? :crying:
The APKs where downloaded from Chrome Browser and resides in my Downloads folder, which I open with my default File Manager
Things I have tried (Tried to install on both ON/OFF states):
Settings > Additional Settings > Device & Privacy > Unknown Source installation: Ticked App Market; Bluetooth; Browser; Chrome; Download Management; File Manager; Game Center; System UI.
Settings > Additional Settings > Device & Privacy > Installation Authentication: Verify app installations not from App Marker (The only other option here is Verify installations from all sources)
Settings > Additional Settings > Device & Privacy > Secure Apps Recommendations: Turn off
Developer Options: USB Debugging ON/OFF
Developer Options: Disable Permissions Monitoring ON/OFF - Apps from Play Store does not install when it is "ON"

⋆ [NON-ROOT] [AD-BLOCK] Blokada Setup for RealmeUI v1.0 ⋆

Blokada Setup for RealmeUI v1.0
(non-root Ad-blocker for Android)
Some things to know:
• Color OS / Realme UI use their own private DNS servers at system-level, which makes ad-blocking impossible.
• Using Blokada we can bypass those restrictions.
• You may need to re-verify and re-apply these settings after each OTA update.
• This method should work for other devices running RealmeUI v1.0
Steps:
• Download & install latest Blokada from here: https://blokada.org
• The Blokada version on Playstore is a SLIM version and does not support host ad-blocking.
• Apply the settings as listed below and restart your phone.
• Verify if the applied settings are persistent after restarting. Open Blokada App and activate Blokada.
Settings App > App Management > App List
• Blokada > Data Usage Status > Enable "Background Data"
• Blokada > Power Saver > Select "Run In Background"
• Blokada > Enable "Auto Startup"
• Blokada > Permissions > Allow "Storage"
Settings App > Additional Settings
• Recents Tasks Manager > Enable “Blokada”
• Get Recommendations > Disable “Get Recommendations”
Settings App > Other Wireless Connections > Private DNS
• By default it should be set to "Off"
• But it doesn't work, it is probably a firmware bug.
• Select "Auto" > Now Select "Off" again.
Blokada App > Settings
• Ad blocking > Ad blocking Settings > Download on WiFi only > Select “No”
• Ad blocking > Ad blocking Settings > [BETA] Advanced ad blocking rules > Select “Yes”
• DNS > Recommended DNS servers > Choose as per your preference
• DNS > Manage > DNS servers list > Select "Sync"
• DNS > Manage > Alternative DNS Answer > Select "Yes"
• App Settings > Start on Boot > Select "Yes"
• App Settings > Reports > Select "Yes"
• App Settings > Keep Alive > Select "Yes"
Extra features: (for advanced users only)
• You can selectively block domains by going into Blokada > Settings > Ad blocking > Host Log > Select the domain you think is serving you ads > Select “Block”
• Alternatively you can use wildcards, but it is still in BETA. Blokada > Settings > Ad blocking > Blocked Hosts > Add a new host > Enter your hosts as wildcard entries > Example: *heytapmobile.com
Wildcard entries: (for advanced users only)
Code:
*coloros.com
*heytapmobi.com
*heytapmobile.com
*oppomobile.com

Dear all, I've tried to install this app following this tutorial but it seems that I'm last version the configuration is completely different because blokada settings are different and it seems that works through vpn and not like a traditional ad blocker. Is there any way to use it or other recommended app for ad blocker purpose?

As far as I know Blokada really works via VPN (therefore it's also usable for not-rooted devices). Only if you're rooted other options/apps that edit the hostfile are available. Personally, I'm using AdAway for years now, also because I need my VPN for other purposes.
