Tried Kingo Root and it keeps failing at 90%. Tried Kingo Root (for PC) and that makes it to 100%, but fails as well. Was about to try the method outlined on TeamAndroid.com's page, but I could not find my specific model their model page.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any actual advice? Telling me, in essence, to rtff doesn't help. From what I can tell, N950U is not rootable at the moment. Am I wrong? If so, what steps do I need to take to root my phone? I hate using my phone in its stock condition.
As rbeavers said, do a search. Or if you looked around a bit, & I really mean just a little bit you will easily find it. Take a look in the development section. Or if you looked in the Sprint section you'd really have no problem finding it as it's the only thread there.
You have Snapdragon if you did not know. And be sure to read the thread very carefully, the 80% part.

Hello there if you have U4 Binary you can't downgrade binary. The firmware will work only for U3 Binary.
After banging my head on my desk and screaming things in my monitor for more than 3 weeks(kudos if you get the reference!) I finally built this ROM. It's built off of stock and has no bugs(I think). Let's get started!
Installation instructions:
1. BACKUP YOUR DATA!
2. Download this ROM here:http://www.mediafire.com/file/xrd9jbtqtahyqlk/crosshatch-qq3a.200605.001-factory-6acb047f.zip/file
3. Make sure you backed up your data. Then go to this website:https://flash.android.com and connect your phone to your PC, then follow the instructions and select your phone and then it will magically unlock your bootloader, then finally, select the ROM above that you downloaded and press Flash.
That's it! Enjoy Samsung on your Pixel
