Recent Option Missing from Google App. - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Hello. After the latest update, recent option is missing from the Google App. I have uninstalled the updates from Playstore then rebooted my device and installed the update from Playstore and the recent option came back under "More" tab. But again suddenly it went missing automatically without me changing any settings in my device or in Google App.
Also under settings in Google App in General Tab section the option of Recent Pages is enabled. I have tried disabling and enabling it but no solution.
Anyone facing this issue? I need the option as I use it often..
Google App Version: 11.23.11.21.arm64
OS: Android 10 One UI 2.1 Not rooted.
Can anyone help me with a solution?
Thanks.

Search installed applications in Google Now stops working

Are any of you having issues with the Google Now search of installed applications? I have the checkbox checked in the Google Now settings (Settings -> Phone search -> Apps- Names of installed applications), but sometimes this just stops working until I go into the settings again to uncheck and check it.
This also happens with my Contacts

Yes! This just started for me a couple days ago. The only thing that setting you mentioned above does for me now is search THROUGH installed apps for hits, but no longer brings up the app itself. Unfortunately your fix of checking and unchecking doesn't seem to do the trick for me (I'm on a Note 2).
For anyone who's not familiar with this behavior, it's a really nice feature of the main Google Now bar everyone should have on their home screen:
Punching in part of an app name in the Google Now bar pulls up hits including the app itself.
It's very convenient to for example turn on your phone, type in "Scan", and get as the top hit the Genius Scan app for example (you might only remember the "Scan" part of the name of the app).
Or type in "Face" and the Facebook app shows up. (Partials work.)
It's very similar to the iOS left-swipe search, the Windows 7 Start button, and OSX Spotlight.
Hunting and pecking through the app list is for chumps.
After today's Google+ update patch, this issue is now resolved.

[Q] Google Play-like app after vroot???

After successfully rooting my GT-i8190 via vroot, I changed the Chinese version of Superuser to Supersu with no problems. However, I noticed another Chinese app on my phone that I cannot get rid off. It appears to be a Chinese version of Google Play... I keep getting notifications on my phone telling me to update my apps and when I click on them, it takes me to the familiar 'installed apps' section of the Play Store - all in Chinese.
I've tried deleting the app itself from my apps menu by dragging it to the 'remove' trash bin but nothing happens... It stays in my apps. I also tried going into the normal Google Play Store and finding it under 'My Apps' there, but it doesn't appear.
Does anyone know anything about this app? I haven't found any info on it while searching the forums, just the Chinese Superuser app. Should I freeze the app?
Here are a couple screenshots of what I'm encountering:
Update: I should have tried this before, but it slipped my mind. I believe I have solved the issue. I went into application manager and forced the app to stop and waited to see if there were any issues. There were none. I uninstalled it from there and all seems to be well.

Messaging App crashes after update

After the update 41.2.A.7.53, my stock app Messaging frequently hangs and crashes. Anyone experiencing this? Cleared my data, deleted all msgs, restarted the phone but no improvement
I too have this issue. This actually happened before the most recent update. I assumed updating the phone would fix it, it did not. Hope someone knows of a fix.
fix : uninstall chrome updates
Found a solution from sony boards :
This problem is due to a recent Chrome update => unistalling all updates from Chrome will solve the issue.
To uninstall Chrome updates :
Go to Settings => App => Chrome
Tap the menu button (three dots) and select UNINSTALL UPDATES
To disable automatic updates :
Go to the PlayStore, serach for Google Chrome, tap the menu button (three dots) and uncheck Auto-update.
Now we have to wait for a new version of Chrome.
Hope this helps

Alternatively, you can uninstall Chrome and install Chrome Beta from the Play Store. That's how I fixed my app from crashing

For one, you could just install the APK of the older version of Aod. Then you can wipe data and cache of the system Aod. Then install the AOD apk and then use it. As the apk wont be updated. Make sure to reset the aod application by removing all updates.
Did you disable galaxy apps as well?
You can't just download the app and install it .it says app not installed everyone I try to install the v3.2 apk or any version apk for the always on display
So that idea don't work can you tell me what else I need to disable in the bk package app to stop this updating on it's own?
You can't just install the apk .it says app not installed
Go into Galaxy Store, turn off Auto Update apps and then Disable Galaxy Store. Try that.

Can't choose anymore which Apps will show in the AA App launcher.

Hi,
I reinstalled AA and I can't choose anymore which Apps will show in the AA App launcher.
No matter what app version I use and how many times I reinstall, nothing fix this.
Is there a solution?
Thanks,
Enable 3rd party apps in AA Developer mode.
Access Developer mode by tapping 10 times the version number
Thank you for your reply but this is not the issue.
I have enabled Dev mode and checked the unknown apps.
Yet my Android Auto is missing the "Launcher Customization" tab from the settings menu.
It just vanished.
I had to reinstall the ROM from a Backup so every thing works fine now.
But if I install 5.2 AA and use the unlocker app and then install AA4.7 and install the AA5.2 the " Launcher Customization"
will be missing.
