Nexus 6 / boot loader / LineageOS 15.1

Hi folks.
I have a Nexus 6 (shamu) with an unlocked boot loader. I have been dirty flashing up since LineageOS 14 > 15 and now to 15.1 (lineageos beta 4). I know I need to wipe my phone to get to the official release track of LineageOS 15.1 but would also like to re-lock the boot loader to mitigate physical attacks on my phone.
What is the proper order to get to 15.1 and re-lock the boot loader given my scenario? If you have the proper steps around the re-locking the boot loader and tools required please let me know those as well.
JJ
I dont think you can relock the bootloader with lineage 15.1 on your phone I believe you have to be on stock in order to do that which is 7.1.1 and I always used Wugs Toolkit

Root/Remove GAPPS from LOS 15.1 Honor 9 Lite

How to root phone and/or get rid of all the google apps on LineageOS 15.1? Problem is I can't root the phone because when I try to boot TWRP it gets stuck on the TWRP-Logo.
LLD-L31 8.0.0.132(C432)
Android Version 8.1.0
LineageOS Beta 5 https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/development/roms-openkirin-aosp-collection-t3828812 OpenKirin https://openkirin.net/download/
TWRP I tested both images from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-0-t3789306
Ok I found a solution:
Somehow if you enable further options for restarting (into bootloader or recovery) for the restart button (onscreen) and you use that it loaded the recovery mode properly for the second TWRP image. than i flashed the superuser arm64 zip file. Now i have root access!

Xiaomi mi8 on lineage os bootloop after encryption

Have a xiaomi mi8 with lineage os on it (official build) and twpr. Did have encryption working before but had to wipe the phone and lost all is and encryption and can't remeber for the life of me what twrp version I used to get encryption working and what steps I took to get there. I try encrypt the phone now and it gets stuck on lineage boot logo. Switch it off after hours of being on the lineage logo and get to twrp and it does not ask for a password but says it can't Mount my partition when j try browse file or factory reset (has to be format option to start again)
Any ideas what twrp version I need and what steps in what order I need to take to get encryption back

Is my phone bricked?

Yesterday, I managed to unlock my bootloader using PotatoNV and tried to install ProtonAOSP GSI:
Code:
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system <gsi>.img
Note that I'm on EMUI 9.1.0.252 (C636E2R1P9) and my phone model is VTR-L29. Didn't try to root it or replace the recovery with TWRP. Anywho, I went to the recovery as soon as I flashed the GSI to factory reset it. Little did I know, I booted to eRecovery and factory reset it there. I thought it was "just okay" and proceeded to boot into the "real" recovery. I factory reset it once again and try booting my device into the GSI. I waited for it to boot and panicked once it starts bootlooping. I tried flashing different GSIs from phhuson and ponces (Pie, 10, 11 and 12) with the same commands and steps I used earlier. STILL BOOTLOOPING!
Any fixes? Cheers!
Nope sir
Btw I'm using Phh 412 GSi AOSP
I didn't face any bootloop
I just fastboot erase then flash system
After that I just factory reset on erecovery
I didn't face bootloop
Btw I'm on Emui 9.0
