Keep Heart Rate monitor open - Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

Hi,
I'm having some heart issues and would like to keep the heart rate monitor open. However, when I go to the widget it times out after a minute showing just a large clock, then goes back to default watchface after a period of inactivity. The watchfaces (even those with h/r monitor) do not update as frequently as the heart rate monitor "page" does, so I'd like to keep that page open without it timing out. I can't find any setting to prevent this, however. Any ideas?

No reply? Am I wrong asking this question here and expecting a reply (I really wouldn't know)

Samsung are Smartwatch with Health features, YOU, you need a tracker with Smart features not same device
(Garmin/Fitbit are Health tracker with smart features)

Well, I did find a reply in another forum:
Galaxy Wearable app on the phone - Home Tab - Display - Show last app - Within 1 hour
This keeps the last used app on the watch open for 1 hour. My watch does switch to the "temp watchface", but as soon as you make the wakeup gesture the screen shows the last used app.

I'm not sure, but maybe you can find any theme that displays the details of your heart rate on the main screen? For example, there are some that show steps and pulse rate.

It doesn't update as often as I'd like when you have a heart procedure and need to monitor it all the time. Anyway, I found the right answer - one above yours.

Wow. I love the concept.
I didn't have a chance to check out the whole video (youtube was acting up), but does this have the ability to automatically dim the screen to a specified level based on what application I have open? For example, could I set it to automatically dim my screen to the lowest setting when I have my bank app open?
That would probably make this worthwhile.

I looked again and can't find it. There are only two other apps by you - Filter and Network Monitor. Unless it's not available for ICS devices.

this is nice.,thanks ^_^ i will purchased this..
wow great idea, you are the best
Version 1.2 is out:
Added Tasker/Locale plugin !
thanks alot for posting, keep it up, you're doing great!
I just purchased the app. I like it, especially for the Tasker integration.
I was using the other 'Screen Filter' app for a while but it was
having full brightness flicker issues when I would have Tasker change
the filter % from one value to another. This was incredibly annoying.
I do have a MAJOR request though that I believe would help me truly
appreciate my purchase. The primary reason I use these filters is to
attempt to black out my AMOLED screen.....unfortunately, your Total
Screen Filter app maxes the filter at 94.12%. This is a huge problem
for me. Furthermore, your competitor (Screen Filter by haxor industry)
allows for dimming the screen even further then your app (they allow
for 2% filter....which is what you call 98% in your app....almost
pitch black).
I'm an optical engineer and work in extreme dark rooms alot. Sometimes NO VISIBLE LIGHT can be on in these rooms
while experiments are running...sometimes a very small amount is
acceptable.
So my DESPERATE plea for a feature request:
Allow for users to push the filter further beyond 94.12%....ideally a
full 100% black out. Because honestly, 94.12% is not enough at all for
my purposes. At least allow for a 98% filter so you can be equivalent
to your competitor's capabilities (which is a free app I might add).
I can understand your concerns with allowing this ability (people
unknowingly blacking out their screens). So maybe making it a
non-default ability would work perfectly. I use these filters with
Tasker and have it setup so I can easily remove the screen blackout
under particular conditions. Please help me out here. This ability
would really make me happy.

Clock Face Idea

I'd like a clock Face that combines the digital time, current temperature and the days events.
What clock are you looking for?
If you check out Canvas for Pebble, you can do this and more. I've sent an email to the developer to suggest getting it developed on this platform, but haven't received a response yet.
I want a watchface for my workdays that has on one single screen:
time & date
temperature & weather
next appointment (I was able to get next 2 appointments (start time and short description) on Canvas
audio mute/sound state
connected WiFI SSID
phone signal level
phone battery level
watch battery level
There's an abundance of fun "toy" watchfaces that exist for this platform, but even on the old gear I didn't see anything that came close to this level of info you could see on one default watchscreen.

[Q] Is there a watch face that properly shows seconds?

Hey all. I'm looking for a digital watch face that displays seconds in the same way that it shows hours and minutes. I need it to just show the changing number, not some fancy animated circle or the like. Any suggestions? It doesn't seem like what I'm looking for exists yet. Thanks.
I have been using this one so far as it's not too bad...

[Q] Black screen in the night

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to automatically turn off the screen at night (during a specific time).
Is there any app to do this ? Or tasker/IFTTT/Tockle profile to do the same ?
I would like a swipe-from-the-right switch similar to the mute switch (swipe from top) which puts the watch into airplane mode and deactivates the always on mode, too. (=night mode)
WatchMaker app just got (after the last update) tasker plugin. You can switch different faces based on different parameters. If you build a face with dim mode - off and you will activate-it after midnight (as an example), then you will get exactly what you want.
Any example for this.. I am unable to figure this out
You need to install "tasker" also, in parallel with "watchmaker".'Go to watchmaker app and create the watch face you desire (or download one from the internet - there are plenty to choose from).
Take the watchface of your choice and create a duplicate.
On the duplicate add a BLACK png file on top of everything and activate-it only in dim mode.
Then, set-u tasker to switch on the duplicate face while it's night and to the original face in the rest of the day.
Now, you will basically have the same watchface in all circumstances, but at night, the dim mode will just be black (which, in the amoled world, means, screen off).

you can do the same thing without Tasker:
add a BLACK png file- or even better: a shape with the color black and size of 512x512px - on top of everything and activate-it only in dim mode
then use the following formula in the opacity field:
{dh23} > 18 and 100 or {dh23} < 7 and 100 or 0
red indicates the time in which to apply the filter (in my case between 19:00 and 07:00)

I'm just using "Slumber for Android Wear"
It makes the screen black when you put the watch on his cradle.
No airplane mode though

yes, WatchMaker is great on its own - but I really love the tasker integration!
I'm using the above formula to set a 50% opacity shade during the night hours in order to dim the screen
btw: the same thing should be possible with Facer

i have used tasker to set the black watch face in the night. but 1 problem, watchmaker works only when one of the faces from watchmaker is selected. If i select any of stock watchface, the tasker thing does not work as it is mentioned in watchmaker app description that to change the face one of the watchmaker faces should be selected on the watch..
Of course it's working like that, seriously, what have you expected?
If/when the main wear app will allow changing faces remotely via tasker (or it will offer an API for that) then we will be able to do that.
Anyway, my watch is turning off by itself while it's placed in the charger. It will not turn off immediately but after few minutes.

I haven't tried it myself, but FaceLift could be what you are looking for
it should allow you to switch to watchmaker (which you have to pre-set with a black image) and back to the stock face at certain times

As I understand it, praddz wants the watch to turn off during a certain time frame, not when charging
If you want the watch to turn off immediately when charging and are willing to enable developer options, for me it works to set the keep screen on option to enabled
At night I just deactivate Screen Alway ON to have screen off while charging. So easy that changing face or other workaround no ? Long press button and just click on screen parameter.

Figured I'd chime in that changing faces from the app is confirmed for the Lollipop/Wear 2.0 update rolling out this week. On another note, it would be cool to have the 5.0 notification system integrated into Wear, so things like Quiet Hours, Priority interruptions, etc. Maybe someday.
Am i missing something? My watch automatically turns the screen off when it's on the cradle, after about 10 minutes.

Stable Refresh rate always 120HZ

Hi guys, it's possible put the Refresh rate always 120HZ? i think that LTPO refresh rate it's great, but i want always 120HZ, I can't found it, I've tryed to search on Display option and Development options
Many thx gyus
sorry, Oppo
I very much doubt you can, at least not without root and third party controls, which are ill-advised.
When I get my device later this week I will look into it as part of my review.
You don't need 120hz to display a static image, text etc say checking your emails - it is just going to destroy your battery life - dynamic refresh rates are the best way, so long as the firmware handling the adjustment works as intended.
