It should work on all sofia and rav variants, but is based on the same device trees as los/pe, so if those didnt work for you, this probably wont either.

Works flawlessly until now, I was on omnirom and decided to change to this one and I can't be more happier.. (sorry for the English folks).

Just switched to this ROM, and I'm glad it retains the moto gestures(like OmniROM), but double tap to wake ambient display seems to not work on both OmniROM and this one. Is anyone using this ROM able to use it? Thanks.

The ROM has the Moto audio app, so it should be totally fine. It does seem to turn off intermittently, but I had those issues in omniROM as well.

Vibration/Haptic fixed kernel. Flash in fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash boot <filename.img>
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I9gK9qxJJAy5R2cqH7tRZM9OCYE65mmB/view?usp=sharing

Does 90hz really work and is the rom stable enough for a daily driver?

If you have the Moto G8/G Fast and your display cutout is not right, enable your overlay like so:
Code:
adb shell cmd overlay enable org.omnirom.overlay.moto.rav

Figured out fastboot and getting it working. Now flashing the rom and the command fastboot flash system system.img fails. "Resizing 'system_a' FAILED (remote: '') fastboot: error: Command failed"
Anyone experienced this?

Where did you see 90hz mentioned mate? In the first post there is mention of supporting screen refresh rates, not changing them from what i can see.
And its stable as all hell for me on the regular g8, just the bugs mentioned at the bottom of the first post.

i use g8 power XT2041-3, i follow all instruction but can't boot, stock on bootloader. can i flash it with twrp?

hi, this rom works in XT2041-1??
Have OTG active?

So, don't boot?

Hi there, the touchscreen is not working for me on XT2041-4 after flashing. Is anyone else having the same problem? The flashing process went smoothly, but I did get an error message:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img

First go to setting-about device-software info and tap 7 times on build number

Enable OEM unlock
Switch off device
Reboot to download mode (Vol up+power+home)
Select downloaded above said Philz recovery with AP tab of Odin and flash.

Again reboot to download mode
Select recovery file with AP tab of Odin
Now uncheck Auto reboot option

Introduction:
What is AOKP ?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

FAQ:
1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

And 2nd thing, i assume that you didnot read whole OP carefully
Hi, First Big Big thanks for this awesome rom.
My device is GR5 Mini. NMO-L31C636
wipe data, dalvik, cache, system.
flash rom, Reboot.. But not booted.
Then reboot recovery.
Format data. (Now data is automatically f2fs.)
Reboot recovery & change the file system to ext4.
Reboot recovery then reboot system.
Now the device booted.. (Me & My 3 years old son like the boot Animation...... He want's this type of Horse now....)
Now booted. All is very fast & smooth.
Video cam working great. But I have some question :
01. As per op, Busy box pre installed. But with busy box checker " no busy box found", Is it OK? ( need Busy box for Viper4 ? )
02. Pc Suit "allow this device....." authorization is not showing.
So after connecting with computer, Pc suit connected with device, without enable file transfer. I can access contacts, apps, message. But can not access internal / external Sd card.
If I enable file transfer, pc suit disconnected. No Device showing, Restart both Pc & Device several times.
What can I do? Thanks.

No busybox there ?? Weird.... May be its in rom control to install manually... Didnot search that much... And about 2nd issue, u can do one thing at one time... Try to see if usb debugging option have the option of debugging in charge only mode or like that...
Is the nfc, sim, bluetooth, and 60fps video playback working ??

Hi Hassan, Before connect to Pc, usb debugging option changed to MTP. Hisuit not connected.
then charging mode, hi suit connected. But no access on internal or external sd card.
PTP mode, Here I can access only internal Sd card DCIM & Picture folder. I can paste anything here. But sd card not accessible.
Need the "always allow hisuit ......" authorization required.

I will uninstall hisuit and try again.
1. Adb shows device is offline.
Then what should I do?
Confirming, very very fast ROM, no lagging. Huge customization option.
Viper working great, without flashing Busy box.
2. Did not find manually busybox install option.
Is it required/necessary to flash busybox with twrp?

1) Please do not use TiB. If you want use then try Swift Backup or Migrate. These are better options for now.
2) Please Use Paid Themes preferably, so that Substratum Dev can keep on their good work.
3) If you want to try a new theme, try "Valerie" by bro @@DeadmanxXD. It's been my favorite ever since I tried it.

Everywhere, and always...."Taobao doesn't work" :silly:
Full featured Rom and lots of customizations.
My favourite ROM so far - the 'black & yellow' theme is amazing.
Nearly everything works for me except:
-safetynet won't pass
-HDMI causes reboots

No, permissive
So I've been messing with this for a while now. I haven't rooted / flashed since I left the Nexus line back with the 6p. I'm seeing a screen before on boot that I've never seen before. It states "Your device is corrupted and can't be trusted to work properly. Press Power button to continue"
I hit the Power button and it boots into this ROM though.
It's a completely different boot screen than the "unlocked bootloader" one I'm used to seeing.
Any ideas?

No sir. I get the "power to pause the boot" screen and THEN another screen telling me the device is corrupted. I get the unlocked bootloader screen, that I'm familiar with. There is a screen following the unlocked bootloader message telling me that the device is corrupted and can't be trusted.
I've downloaded the factory images, ran the flashall.bat now it's in a bootloop. I get the unlock bootloader warning message then the corrupt message, phone reboots, essential logo comes up... rinse and repeat.
Ran Flashall.bat again and paid attention to the output... it seems to fail on slot "b":

Well, I've followed the instructions precisely to no avail. I'm stuck in bootloop hell. The file you linked eventually got rid of the "watching" but, again, just bootloop after bootloop. I got this ROM to boot only once and that was without installing the GApps. Once GApps was flashed, I got caught in a bootloop. This device is ARM64, right? I'm not doing anything super stupid and flashing ARM64 Gapps onto a regular ARM device?
I've had to flash over the boot_fix.img with TWRP again just to get into Recovery to stop the endless bootlooping. Round and round we go.

Any ideas?

@usafle
Ahh, I had the same thing happen also. From twrp flash the boot fix img and then twrp. Then, reboot to system, it will then bootloop and eventually you'll be booted back to twrp. Let it bootloop! Once that's finished flash a room or whatever and the twrp installer. ?
Remember, let it bootloop, it will take some time.:good:

I keep getting error 7 / status 1 after the sideload.
How does one update the full system to android 11, like MSM tool or equivelant? Or is this only possible as OTA?
EDIT: @kronflux
Just wanted to mention that I did start from a clean flash (MSM Tool - but of course that is android 10), and subsequently re-unlocked the bootloader, but still no dice. I know I'm missing something I just can't figure what.
Usually I would upgrade to the same android version as the custom os (11 in this case) and I did try that once as well, and it still didn't work.
What is the legit way to update both slots to a new stock OS so that users can flash an upgraded custom OS?
I am still reading everything I can in this device forum, trying to figure out what I missed.
I finally managed to get this ROM flashed. Seems that, at least in my case, the ROM flash doesn't cause the slot to be switched after reboot. I need to basically do this:
(optional) - Boot to opposite desired slot.
Flash Recovery
Boot to recovery
Factory Reset
Flash Rom (sideload)
Reboot to bootloader
change slots
Reboot to bootloader again (ensure slot change)
(optional) Flash Recovery to new/current slot
(optional) Then Flash GApps (if allowed for the ROM, not this one as GApps are included)
Boot ROM from bootloader
This manual slot change is not something I see from any of the instructions on this entire device sub forum, even for other posted/supported ROMs. I know that usually the slot change is automatic, but in my case for some reason it is not.
Move...
I asked if this can be flashed over the earlier beta as-is ?
I did so earlier with the beta using TWRP, but it was originally installed on A10.
I don't have any issues with sideloading any rom but this one i keep getting "adb: failed to read line: no error"

Slot logic, I guess.
It was b slot on the old roms because we started out on A as the active partition, so maybe we just have to switch to the inactive slot when flashing.
Realized this a couple nights ago, but my device went into kernel panic anyway so I couldn't really verify.
Thank you.

No, this has to be installed over A11.
This rom depends on the updated kernel, so flashing over a new version of the ROM won't just work.

I downloaded too much adb, I changed the version, it didn't work no matter what I did. Qualcomm went all the way to crushdumb mode.
The operation was not successful. I am using Android 11.
My device Oneplus n10 5G BE86AA
I tried 10-15 times but all failed. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out and have had this problem.
I'm using google translate, it may be misspelling.
For everyonw that have problems by sideloading. I recommend to use exactly the recovery they provide there, don't even thing using twrp or orange fox, because those sideload are just broken.
also, the standard fastboot drivers include x86 adb, that would not work correctly always.
SDK Platform Tools release notes | Android Studio | Android Developers
Android SDK Platform-Tools is a component for the Android SDK.
developer.android.com
download this, and use adb sideload rom.zip exactly with those tools. for me, it was the single thing that did worked.
Later Edit: needed to change the A/B Slot
# boot the phone into fastboot either if in the bootloader
#
sudo fastboot reboot fastboot
#
# or if the phone is booteind into the recovery or in the normal mode
#
adb reboot fastboot
# wait until the phone is booted in fastboot mode
# get the current slot
#
sudo fastboot getvar current-slot
# change the current slot
#
sudo fastboot set_active b
# check the result
#
sudo fastboot getvar current-slot
# reboot the phone from new current-slot
#
sudo fastboot reboot

Well, most people are using gsi Roms on this phone. I am running Crdoid android 13 April 2023 build and security patch on my nord n10 5g with magisk and 5 volte/vo5g both working
Im quite liking this rom, but i keep getting a QUALCOMM CrashDump Mode a bit after plugging it in to charge at night... it sticks in this mode until i hard reset, then its fine. The lack of auto-reboot really sucks since i cant trust this phone as an alarm right now.
Also, this doesnt happen every time i plug it in... seems to be about every other night so far, might be related to how low the battery gets, not sure.
Running this on a BE2026 model on Cricket (ATT network), also have done some customization installing magisk and a few modules... im pretty sure the first crash was before i had all the modules installed, but ill be trying to disable some of them and see if it helps at all. its hard to test something when there's not an easy way to trigger it...
There is an error included too, been trying to decrypt it but not having a lot of luck:
Code:
EX:kernel:0x0:SNS_SEE_P_1:0x1000000e:PC=0xf02baadc:LR=0xf0215f78
subsys_err_fatal_intr_handlersubsys-restart: Resetting the SoC - adsp crashed.
subsys_unregister
Another SERIOUS issue I discovered today - I cant disable wireless emergency alerts. The settings app will crash when I try to open the settings for it, and trying to get to it from the messages app does nothing. It seems there's no way to turn off these ridiculously loud amber alterts.

I've also experience some bugs/quirks like the "high pitched voice" while calling someone through Internet apps like Signal/WhatsApp/Anyotherapp.

Thank you for the ROM.
I would like to ask if anybody knows - does dual SIM work on this ROM (specifically enabling and disabling certain SIMs on the fly)? I know Lineage has issues with that along with auto brightness (jumps from low brightness to too bright with no in between) on KB2005.

Thanks, flashing dtbo.img allowed me to install the ROM and everything seems to work fine, please update your instructions, so others won't have this problem.

Decent but the sound externally is awful. Very low and static-like. I usually have to turn it down, but i had to turn this ll the way up and i barely heard the song. *sigh* any suggestions? It's the same with the ring tones, they're VERY low.. what is going on here?
