Motorola is the only manufacturer with moto display. No other android maker makes it the way Motorola does. Google pixels are pretty close to moto display, but that may be because google bought Motorola when they started the moto x series. It might be possible to port it to another manufacturer but I really don't think anyone else can make it as good as Motorola. It is the one thing that I always miss when trying new devices that are not Motorola. Somehow they know how to make moto display just perfect.
I have a Moto Z2 Play, but I can't install the app because I need Android 10, my phone is on Android 8. Can anyone modify this version of the Moto Display app and the Moto app also with the Moto Razr 5G on my phone
Does anyone have the included game made for the front screen extracted? I wonder how it will play on a regular screen.

like Moto Voice and Moto Display, after the recent update Motorola give us only the sync with Moto 360, but if we want the new features see in the Moto X 2014's spot on youtube there is the app to download and install on my old Moto X ??

as of right now there is nothing. if you install the apk for the new moto voice it will install but you cannot finish settign up the hotword detection probably because of hardware issues.
When motorola announced the new X they said they will bring the moto suite to deviced whose hardware will support it. but i see no reason why the 2013 moto x won't get the update seeign as those its hardware was designed with voice recognition in mind. the chip has 2 cores set aside for that purpose but for now time will tell. im sure if for some reason moto doesnt bring the suite to the old X someone will than port them to the old X

Is there anyway to add Moto display, actions, and etc that is on Moto X 2014? I understand if this is possible I'd have to run a custom ROM.
At the moment, No.
The Moto X Pro that is releasing in China is a rebranded Nexus 6 with no Google services/apps. However will have all the Moto apps such as Display and Voice w/ all the others.
Some people have been theorizing since it will have the same chipset and internals as our Nexus 6 that a system dump of the X Pro could allow the possibility of porting over these features.
No word on when there will be a system dump or if there will be one or even if porting would work. All we can do is wait.

I've had a look around and it seems demand for this is rather high, please someone port this amazing OS

I'm pretty doubtful right now as MotoJunkie is now inactive, and he was the only active dev who fixed bugs, etc.
It's a 32 bit kernel so I think that's a problem, I've been wanting portrait for a while myself on my Boost Mobile Moto E5 Plus.
Device rom is very pathetic.Seriously, having lag and i hate google bloatwares.
You need to give it some time as this is the initial build for this device. Xiaomi will optimize the ROM for this device eventually to an extend. But you will never get the same level of smoothness as a clean AOSP rom. Since it's a cheap Xiaomi device, you will most probably get a lot of popular custom ROMs quite soon. So, I would say, wait for sometime.

and its pretty easy to remove unwanted apps/bloatware.

Try to play video during a call, your voice will stop going to user in that frame of time
will this device recieve custom rom support if yesthen i will buy it , or is moto g 5g an better option for custom roms
Have anyone noticed that after 12.0.4 update the charging speed has been reduced/controlled?
Or am I the only one?
